I have no clue if my device is connected or not because the readings cannot be accurate.
Not well thought through.
Also I could not find a User Manual (PDF) Online?
DON'T BUY
i bought this on 6/5/2022 , after less than 1 year on 31/03/2023 the devise stop working, i sent 20 mail and in 6 months i got only 1 incomplete answer, NO WARRANTY NO SUPPORT they took the money and run, toxic company dont waste your money.
Poor quality and service
I can only echo many comments here - bought the flow device 3 years ago and initially really liked it. However, after little less than 2 years the battery is dead and after sales service is literally non-existent. No answer to emails and no attempt to keep me as a customer.

Ho comprato il flow 2 a Maggio 2022 ma a Marzo 2023 ha smesso di funzionare.
Oramai è oltre un mese che scrivo mail e vengo ignorato. Il prodotto è in garanzia ma l'azienda non provvede a riparare, al momento ho ricevuto solo una spiegazione su come resettare ( cosa che non è servita ). Sono veramente deluso. Scam.
Terrible after sales service
Echoing a repeated complaint from other viewers – terrible after sales experience. It takes them forever to respond and I constantly have to follow up with them. The sensors are not accurate and I reported this issue to Plume, and to their credit they did send replacements...but the replacements were faulty too. Then I asked for a refund and they weirdly say that the sensors might not be faulty and I'm not eligible for a refund because I'm still in warranty period.
What?? How does this logic make sense? If the sensors weren't fault, Plume wouldn't have immediately sent replacement devices over...Now it's been over a few months dealing with this issue and every single time I have to follow up with updates.
Very bad experience with their after…
Very bad experience with their after sale assistance.
Only a chat (it isn't operating today) and an email service (replies after many days).
Now I have been waiting for a reply for almost a month. The device is still in the warranty period. I won't recommend this product and of course I won't buy it again.
UPDATE: my experience has improved. They contacted me and my device was replaced. I still have some doubts about their measurement accuracy but it is very useful and hopefully will continue to be improved in the future. Excellent idea.
I have bought two flows
I have bought two flows, the first I have given to my young son, and the 2nd gen I carry with me. During the wildfires in California, this has been indispensable in regulating our asthma flare-ups.
Amazing device, app could use some work
This is a great device. So many people have been interested in the readings it takes, and many have been worried by them! Creating awareness with a tool like this is exactly how we can drive change.
One criticism is the app, which is very limited given the data that it collects from my device and those of other users. The app is largely unchanged since I bought my first generation Flow and could really do with some work. Slightly buggy with it occasionally dropping connection (and so losing GPS data), viewing history is very limited and could do with some help - happy to make some suggestions if this would help.
Excellent device
Excellent device. With more people able to detect pollution in the air, the more we can influence polluters and politicians.
Flow was quite easy to set up
Flow was quite easy to set up and the instructions were clear. After a few months use I had a slight issue with the app not showing Yesterday's data, even though it was included in the downloaded data. I went online and used the chat function on the website to determine why and was advised that there was something wrong with the battery in the device, so they sent me a new one. I then used both side by side and the old one was showing much worse air quality than the new one, so I wanted to understand how I would know that the new one is showing accurate data as there was no indication on either device that its data was wrong. I did not get a good answer from Plume!

In-car pollution when on the autoroute
On recent car trip from Brussels via autoroute to Avignon I saw that I had subjected my COPD impacted lungs to 11 hours of high risk levels of pollution. Very dangerous for me, and must avoid in future! Be interesting to see the levels when travelling by Tgv on same trip.
I wonder if Plume also captures pollution of “pollen”?
