Had my first experience of a Storiboard Dinner last night in Edinburgh. Was apprehensive in going out with 5 strangers for dinner but came home buzzing having met 5 new friends. Amazing experience, gorgeous group of men and ladies. Highly recommend anyone who may be sitting on the fence to go for it.
Well organised, communications are great and a wonderful experience all round.

I had a great evening met some rather interesting people and had fun. The Storiboard company is brilliantly organised. I had such a great evening. The restaurant was in a great location in town so very central. I would definitely do another dinner club again. I wasn't keen on the food but the company was great.

A great night when 8 total strangers can sit down relax play bowling and everyone contributes. It's brilliant when it works. The Storiboard concept at its best

I signed up for Storiboard, spur of the moment kind of thing, when I got there, I had so much fun with the surprise event, meeting people, I forgot to actually bowl which is what the event was supposed to be! Met some wonderful people, thoroughly recommend for extroverts or introverts as its welcoming for both! 5/5

It was very easy to book- I took a five minute quiz saying what my availability was, what activities I like to do and which locations are best for me.

I chose to play social darts and was allocated a convenient location that was easy for me to commute to.

On arrival, the staff were expecting the Storiboard crew. Check in was very easy, and we had a designated area to ourselves.

There were four Storiboard Social Darts groups booked for that evening so although I had my designated group, there were even more people to socialise with. Everyone in my group was very laid-back and welcoming. The conversation flowed easily, and the games allowed us to make several teams throughout the whole session, so I had a chance to socialise with everyone.

There was great follow-up from Storiboard via text, where I spoke with a real person- not a chat bot :D

Also, the event wristband is plantable. Yep, take your wristband home, put it in some dirt, water it and watch your mystery plant sprout. How cool is that?

In summation, I paid £10 to play darts for two hours in a laid-back and social environment, and make some new friends, and got a free plant. 5/5 would recommend.

Had such a great time! Met a gorgeous bunch of like-minded people, and it was like we’d known each other for years. Will be keeping in touch when Storiboard hook up up with our group.

Really enjoy this concept. I have tried the dinner evenings and darts. Met some lovely people. I like how expectations re payment of meals are set out from the start. This gets rid of any awkwardness. Booking is easy. I took out the 3 month membership as after my first dinner and then darts it makes it more economical. Everyone has been friendly and it’s great finding out about new people and their jobs and interests. This is something I can do on my own and it breaks the week up for me. It would be good to do some other nights with different activities. Maybe this is something being planned.

I like the way the company organised the event .They informed me of the location and time and took care to arrange for me to meet people sharing my interests and compatible in age . I really like the friendly welcoming atmosphere and the restaurants were all good .Tasteful classy establishments with nice decor, and I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The other people I met were all friendly and good company.

Four men, including me, each with completely different story.

We chatted about general topics for two hours, then everyone returned to where they came from.

Storyboard in Leeds arrange meals at excellent restaurants.
They ensured the restaurants knew who was on our table and made us very welcome.
They manage to get the professions and interests of all 5 participants perfectly matched
I would highly recommend using them to meet new friends.

Such as great experience, a night out with strangers who all made effort to involve everyone ....a complementary glass of prosecco and table booked in Kings Cross with great view of Canal helped the evening to flow..we never got round to the suggested ice breaker bit was a great idea. The Storiboard Club does an amazing job organizing fun social meet-ups! They really go the extra mile to pick the perfect venues and gather great people together. I've made some wonderful new friends who were once just strangers at these events. They host all kinds of activities, from darts and bowling to board games and dinner clubs, and they're always coming up with exciting new ideas! I liked the fact the Storiboard team kept us informed via WhatsApp about the evening, where we were meeting, time, what to do when we got there, etc. Told us how many people would be there. It was nice meeting new people and enjoyed the dinner together. We used the icebreaker to ask each other and listen to the responses. Found that we had things in common too. Bonus! Made some good contacts and hope to see them again.

I went to the darts event last night and it was a great turn out! 13 people generally within the same age range and we had a great time! It was a bargain for only £10 as we had 2 hours of darts and then the team gave us an extra 30 mins for free. The 25% off food and drink was a nice added bonus too! A great mix of people and I’ll definitely go again in the future!

Having tried a few of these concepts around London... Storiboard actually works. Had a great evening and got to know some amazing people and all I had to do was show up. I don't know what it was, but something about the setting made it all so easy and comfortable to get talking. I'm looking forward to the next one!
