User friendly, convenient

My name is Cindi B. and my business is Custom Wood Shutters & Blinds. We’ve been using Podium for years and it’s great. Once people stopped answering their phones, we had to move over to texting. Podium lets my whole team in on what’s going on with our customers, we do our credit card processing through it as well. It’s smooth and simple for both us and our customers we love it!

Perpetual harassment

We have not contacted Podium at any point in our business operations. We've blocked them numerous times and have verbally told them that we are not interested in their services. We're blocking each number and have continuously been contacted by them. WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR SERVICE.

Shady and deceptive business practices

This company has been sending repeated threats and collection notices to our business that are for a completely unrelated business. I've explained to them on countless occasions that we are not affiliated, other than sharing a similar name, and that the company they are going after is out of business. My company has never used their software or signed any agreements with Podium. In fact, all of their invoices show another company's name and another company's address. Despite that, they continue to harass and threaten the reputation of our business. I recommend others be cautious and these are shady and deceptive business practices. This is a business that is willing to proceed with a false representation of debt under the FDCPA, and blatantly and knowingly violate the law to try and collect money from unrelated parties. Imagine what it will look like if you actually signed up for their services and tried to cancel in the future.

Podium is one of the worst companies to…

Podium is one of the worst companies to work with. Beware and be warned! If you try to leave your "Contract" with them, they will make you sign something that says you'll never criticize them to individuals or write bad reviews, etc. They have a sub-par product to begin with and it is hella expensive for what you get. Avoid this company at all costs.

Violating the Contract

I want to start by saying the customer-facing team has been kind and respectful throughout my experience.

That said, the issue has been with delivery and follow-through.

I was told I would have an Instagram/Meta integration to run ads, but it took over 45 days to get this resolved. Around the 30-day mark—per the terms of the contract I formally requested to opt out due to the service not being fulfilled within the agreed timeframe.

Despite that, billing has continued, and I’ve had difficulty getting clear communication or timely responses. I’ve also been told multiple times I would hear back within 48 hours, which hasn’t happened.

At this point, it’s less about the initial issue and more about how it’s been handled specifically the lack of accountability and follow-through.

If the service had been delivered as outlined and communication was consistent, this would be a very different experience.

Disappointing Platform with Limited Capabilities and Weak Support

My experience with Podium has been consistently frustrating and, ultimately, a poor use of resources. Support has been difficult to access and, when reached, has not provided meaningful solutions. The concept of an “account manager” has not translated into effective support or guidance.

The platform itself feels limited in ways that are surprising for a modern communication system. For example, basic call routing functionality—such as directing calls to a primary line and seamlessly rolling over to a backup when that line is in use—is not handled in an intuitive or flexible way. Instead, calls must follow rigid ring cycles before moving on, which creates unnecessary inefficiencies.

The tipping point for me was a recent outage where our phones were down for an unacceptable amount of time. To make matters worse, I then began receiving the same voicemail repeatedly—every minute—with no clear resolution from support on how to stop it.

At this point, I can’t justify continuing with a system that lacks reliability, flexibility, and responsive support and I would not recommend it to others.

Podium is the worst platform for…

Podium is the worst platform for interacting with your clients. We received not one referral after months on incompetence and technical mishaps. Podium took our telephone number then tried to extort thousands of dollars from us to get it back. Run rom this terrible company. We wasted so much time and money with them. They have also worked to take down these reviews with exhausted exercises in responding to relentless responses on Trust Pilot. I will continue to upload reviews as soon as they are removed. Do not use this company. I suspect that they will have gone bankrupt shortly

Easy to use for everyone.

I’m writing this review as a service technician at OVPW Inc., a local water treatment company in Cincinnati, OH. I find this app mostly straight forward to use. The most useful feature of this app is the range of credit card processing options. The second most useful feature is the customer contact platform that allows me to see conversations between the company and the customer. The app also provides AI summaries of conversations that are neither helpful nor problematic. The app’s search feature could use improvement. I’ve found software updates and app changes to be pretty smooth so far.

In short, this app is a simple and effective way to handle customer service and payments. What really makes it great is how easy it is for everyone to use.

Podium has been a very useful asset to Kimbro Air! We are able to reach out to customers very efficiently via text message. Podium also makes requesting a review super simple, which is always a big plus!

I can’t imagine how our business was doing before Podium

Podium has changed our business overnight! Since joining podium we’ve received hundreds of honest google reviews in less than year!!
Having our personal concierge and 24 hour customer support is AMAZING!!
I have recommended Podium to so many businesses and will continue to do so as this is truly the best means of communication and customer service we’ve ever given to our clients, HANDS DOWN!

This company only cares about money and…

This company only cares about money and not the satisfaction of their clients. They will scam you! It is also extremely expensive for what it is and there are way better and more affordable options out there! Please do your research before locking yourself into a contract! (Which if you don’t cancel on the exact date will lock yourself into in for another year!!)
