Avoid
Avoid. I booked PDP to do a simple check on some pipework. They promised at that appointment to send a quote for replacing a shower unit and 7 WEEKS LATER: nothing. Despite several polite reminders from me. I presume they think the job is too small but cant be bothered to tell me that so have just gone for ghosting. Just really poor.

Heat Pump Installation
I requested a quote for installing a heat-pump and exchanged some emails with Jack. Every few days throughout this process the quote went up by £1000 with no explanation or additional work specified. I got the distinct impression I was being gouged so I opted for another supplier at which point Jack started invoicing me for survey work I had not commissioned. Alarming to say the least. Watch out.

Hi John, this is real shame to receive a review like this. I came to your property and conducted a full survey with heat loss calculations and a report which we charge for as stated on the provisional estimate that was sent to you prior to my visit. My apologies for not being able to present an accurate cost to you from the provisional estimate - after coming to see your project, the scope changed quite a bit. You were invoiced for my time but refused to pay and since I have credited your invoice. I run a reliable and honest team at Polkadot and I strongly disagree with with the 1 star.

Attentive, professional five star service!
After discovering that I had a leak somewhere in the copper pipes buried in concrete beneath the floor, it was quite a complicated process to repair. Suffice it to say that these guys completed the work and fixed the issue within a tight timeframe, addressing all my concerns.
