Pony-O. Do not recommend.
Purchased a pony-o standard and a 2.0 for my wife. They worked for about a month. After that they became a bit loose and no longer held her hair in place during activities like yoga or pickleball. During her gym workouts her hair would loosen up significantly, no better than her normal hair ties. Asked customer service for a replacement but since it was just outside of 30 days we would have had to pay shipping. Asked to return instead and was told that we would have to pay to ship them back. $4-5 shipping on two $8 items? I dont think so, not worth it. Needless to say we will not be purchasing any more of these. Return and exchange policies on defective items stink with shipping costs passed on to the customer after 30 days.

-When you bend the ends down, make sure the sides are still aligned (One on top of the other). If they are not, there will not be a tight hold!
-PONY-O is so comfortable (it doesn't pull) so you may think it is not tight! A habit, with our hair ties that everyone has, is that we split our ponytail and pull on it, to tighten our hair tie. This does not work, with a PONY-O, it opens it up (Weird, right?) The alternative, it to give it a couple of tugs to see if it is tight. If not, bend the ends, more sharply, or give it another squash!
-Making sure the sides are sharp bends at all times will also help create the tightest and longest hold. Leaning back on the PONY-O (in the car, on the couch, etc) can flatten the bends, so be sure to re-bend the sides when you get up! When you are sleeping in bed, put it high on your head so that it stays tight!

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Spent almost 25 EUR for 2 bands. At first, I was sure that they sent me a wrong size because the bands looked rather narrow. Then it appeared to me that I actually have no way of checking my order out. I never got a confirmation email, so I couldn't check what I ordered etc no more. However, let me assure you that the email I put in there was not wrong. How do I know this? Well let me tell you, I have in total 3 gmail accounts that I use for different reasons. I started getting ad emails to all of those after my purchase... Extremely shady. Not to mention, not knowing how to even review my order without any link, I have no idea how all those 5 star reviews ended up on their website, if you know what I mean ;).
but back to the actual products: the ties don't hold anything. My hair is definitely not thick, rather normal/on the thin side. Sport is out of question with it. After 5 minutes it started to feel like it was pulling my hair... Also rather difficult to even put it up nicely to start with because the bending puts your hair out of shape at the front, especially, if you're into the tidy slick look.
The fact that the reviews are either one star or 5 star is also telling. I wished I looked it up here before purchasing, rather looking at their own ads and reviews.

We suggest taking an item, such as a pen or a sharpie, and run it along the inside in a circular motion to straighten the copper inside! ✏️You can also use the warmth of your hands. Idk why I followed the add
Idk why I followed the add, but Instagram made me buy it. I got 2 ponyos today and don't feel excited.
It is simply a rubber band that does pull your hair. Also it feels like a unnecessary weight on my hair. Kinda like plastic watch strap in my hair.
I feel that one can get all those "high hair"style results by using a usual hair tie.
Not sure how long this elasticity will last since I assume the elastic metal inside of this hair tie will break soon.
I def expected something lighter and more finesse with better quality, but instead just some sort of cheap made in China stuff one can buy in 1 dollar shops.
I wouldn't recommend this stuff unfortunately despite being promoted so nicely. Don't believe it.
What I think is interesting are the colors they offer and sort of reinvented hair tie from the 90s TV shops.
Also the reviews here are either only 5 stars of 1 star. Quite a battle for ratings? Rely on the red reviews because it is real what they say.

Does not hold hair in place if you have a lot of it. If you’ve got really thin hair then maybe but no chance with mine. 100% not worth the money.

Placed a large order with Ponyo in November. Still don't have it. They tell me products are not available but still sell them on the website. Keep telling me it is being posted but never gets posted.

These are amazing!
These ponies are seriously some of the best! Not only do they keep my hair in place, but they have different sizes for different hair types and styles. And they are so beautiful! I have purchased from them many times and would definitely recommend them if you are wondering if they work, they do!

Brilliant product
Brilliant product. Easy to use, doesn’t rip my hair out when I remove it. Gives a nice high right pony tail that stays in all day. My 10 year old niece loves it too so will be getting some for her bday :) easy for her to learn to use too. Would definitely recommend.
Was a bit hesitant because of the price but I probably spend that much over a year on bobbles that rip out my hair and get lost.
So glad I made the purchase :)

Awesome products
Great products, that actually work. I love that they come in a range of colours and actually add volume to mine and my daughter's hair. Also their customer service is awesome as well as their prices.

IT WORKS! HAIR PERFECTION EVERY TIME!!!!!
I have thick curly hair and I have worn my Pony-O EVERYDAY since I got it for Christmas!!! It is incredible! My hair stays up and It's the '80s high pony' look that I was trying to achieve and now I have it! I seriously couldn't rate it high enough! It is the must have hair accessory!

I love the Pony-O products because they…
I love the Pony-O products because they don't pull your hair at all and for my thick hair it's very important! All of those who are here complaining and writing a bad review, I'm pretty sure you just haven't put it up in a correct way, there for sure is a learning curve and I didn't know how to do it properly either but I got a video call with Pony-O and they helped me to understand the correct size and way to put it up. I'm sure with some practice I'll be able to do even more and different kind of hair styles in a much better and secure way!

Unfortunately doesn’t hold hair for long at all. The adverts all say that they hair won’t move but it does, also difficult to get a high pony to start with, even when it feels really tight it’s moved with 20 mins.

Not worth the money
I bought one pony-o XL (at a cost of £10 including delivery) to see how I got on with it and I wouldn’t buy anymore, it tugs at your hair and is way less comfortable than a spiral invisibobble. It also doesn’t stay put for long at all, it easily slips.

If you have a lot of hair or thick it won't work!
I am in this case and I have trouble getting it into the Pony O.
After a few minutes the Pony O starts slipping down and it is no more holding back the hair properly.
Very disappointed!
