item is yet to arrive, false advertising on the delivery time scale.
Item is yet to arrive, delivery time frame was a lie and not a very prompt service. The item wasn't in stock, had to be ordered in but I was told that the delivery of the item is basically irrelevant it's only when you as a company get the item then the delivery time of delivery takes effect. Ordered 6/7 days ago with express delivery of 1-2 days but the express is only from when an order with Scolmore is complete of an ETA to them of 4-5 days then the express comes into effect after.
Needed the item sooner, no option of a refund, not a sincere apology and also what it seems like not a care to. Only update received was when item was chased.
Overall not a good or pleasant experience.

My apologies for the unsatisfactory experience you have had with us.
I can see we informed you of a stock delay on the Monday 8th December as you placed the order on Saturday 6th December.
Please be advised not all lines on our website are items we hold on the shelf as we are an online wholesaling business and some lines we need to order-in first. This is why we do state on our wesbite that any orders needed next day that you call us first to check stock availability.
That being said we did quote the Thursday/Friday for delivery and it was not delivered until the Monday so we wholly apologise of course and I belive this was due to a slight delay in shipment from Click which we were unaware of and out of our control; I guess the Christmas period can create uncertaintly in dispatched times for some companies.
I can see we have already refunded your postage as a gesture of good will and we hope we can create a better experience with us should you chose to use us again.

Firstly please accept our apologies as we have looked into your order and something very rare and odd has occured where we received the SCP401BK you ordered but not the SCP436BK without knowing and appears to be a fault in our system where the SCP436BK was never ordered hence the delay.
This has now been identified and we have orderded the SCP436BK and shoud be with us in a couple of days and you should hopefully receive your order mid this week.
We have also refunded your order in full as an apology for this extremely rare and unfortunate situation in which we take full accountability for.
We hope to deal with you again soon and put this right.

Delivery let you down
Delivery let you down - DPD sent me a text saying they were going to deliver that same day, but did not. Several days later they messaged to say they had delivered to the customer, which they hadn't, because I was at work. Luckily, I found the parcel outside the front of our building tucked under the external gas meter cupboards...not even a safe place

Hi Peter,
We sent you an email to your chosen email address on the 26th November after you placed the order explaining that the item you have purchased is out of stock at Deta and they are waiting a shipment to themselves before dispatch to us.
We mentioned that it could take up to 4 weeks for delivery hence why you haven't recieved your order yet. We quote an estimated lead time of the end of December/early January.
We can appreciate that you may of missed the email land in your inbox but we can assure you one was sent.
That being said we are truly sorry for the delay and we will ship your order out on an overnight service once it comes into us.
Alternatively we ar happy to process a full refund and cancel your order at your request.
Please email us or call in to let us know what you would like to do.

You allow people to place orders when you don’t have stock and then lie about the due date, this is at best disingenuous if not fraudulent, please refund in full

Good Morning Ray,
Many thanks for your order and for the feedback, I apologise and appreciate that the journey on this order has not been ideal.
Although Charles initial ETA would typically be correct, it further transpired that Click have discontinued the VPCH153 (£44.45) in favour of the much more expensive VPCH163 (£48.64) which includes intelligent dimmers on board.
Click had not notified stockists of the discontinuation, so it just took a day or two longer than we’d have liked to get our hands on the item. Considering the circumstances we made the decision to still supply the more expensive plate as we would never push that onto our customers.
It did arrive on Thursday afternoon but sadly too late for our couriers, as we have a local delivery run that covers the Guildford area it should have been with you Friday but following an issue with one of the vans it is due to go out today. It should be with you Today/Tomorrow at the very latest.
I again apologise, because the better practice should have been to follow up with the above information.
If you would prefer to cancel for a refund please let me know and we will of course arrange this for you.
