4 Payments stolen totalling £297 in 3 weeks!
On checking my Credit Card I noted 4 payments totalling £297.99 to Premier Offers within 3 weeks. I have never signed up to this company even though they send junk mail to me on a regular basis! I now hope my bank will reinburse me as I am a pensioner and cannot afford this theft!
Sent to Citizens Advice/Trading Standards
Copy of communication to Citizens Advise for Trading Standards investigation:
Several weeks ago I purchased some goods online from the firm Easylife. Paying by credit card, the goods arrived satisfactorily.
In the last few days I have received 2 letters by post. With the heading of “Premiere Offers Direct”, and Premiere Offers Club”, which include text headed "Premiere Cooking Academy" and "Premiere Motor Club". They say that I have agreed to become a member and that after a 28 day trial, I will be debited for fees taken from my latest used credit card.
I have never had previous contact with these two organisations and certainly didn’t agree to join any memberships.
I have made extensive investigations. All these organisations (Easylife, Premiere Offersdirect , Cooking Academy, Motor Club”) have virtually the same address – “Cremers Road, Sittingbourne, Kent”
Apparently on purchases from Easylife, there is a clause stating that my details will be shared with “associated companies”. It seems that Easylife then send my credit card details to Premiere Offers, who then send out fraudulent letters stating that following their agents contact with me, giving a date, I have agreed to join their clubs. Of course no such communication ever took place.
These organisations certainly need investigating. I have not had any monies taken from my credit card, but have cancelled my card for a new one.
Premier motor club scammers
My mother received a letter from the Premier Motor Club saying that unless she cancels within 28 days they would take £65.99 from her account. The letter was received on the 29th May but it says it needs to be cancelled by the 7th June, only 9 days after the letter was received. She has no idea where she was signed up and why they believe she has. I will be phoning them to make sure this is cancelled as we cannot risk that they may not process the cancellation within the time scale given. Seems an absolute scam so make sure if you receive one of these letters it is acted on immediately. They have never been given permission to take money and account details were not directly given.
This organisation took £65.99 from my…
This organisation took £65.99 from my account on the 28th May 2024 for membership of their Premier Motor Club which I certainly did not apply for in any way, shape or form. My bank, Barclays, blocked a previous attempt by these scammers for £59.00 on the 24th of May so I'm not sure why they allowed this one. Will have to contact my bank tomorrow to try and rectify the intolerable situation.
Premieroffers
Do not know this company but this is a transaction on my back charging me £ 65 then got a text from my back telling me it’s fraud Thankyou NatWest but why is this company getting away with this time after time directors Nicola Kent and Chrysostomou Chrys Elias are ####
I would have given them zero but this…
I would have given them zero but this system won't allow it .I joined premier offers and within a few weeks I had cancelled my subscriptions but since then I have found they are still taking money out of my account. My contract on my phone won't allow me to phone them as they have a premium rate number and when I go to e mail them I can't get past the cookies page as I do not want any further contact or information shared with them.
My mother has been scammed by this…
My mother has been scammed by this company they keep taking money from her account, differing amounts so far about £450. She had to cancel her card. She is 84 and very worried and distressed, this caused her to be overdrawn which she never does, and has bank charges on top. This company should be shut down. Do not give bank/card details, do not sign up. They prey on the elderly who do not understand. Cruel scam.
Scams R Us
Logged on to my bank this morning and found I had been charged £65.99 against my Credit Card by Premier Offers - a company that I've never heard of before and certainly never bought anything from. Checked on Google finding loads of people with similar or worse complaints about them then rang my bank who immediately cancelled my Credit Card and flagged the transaction as fraudulent. Obviously a wonderful trustworthy company - I don't think.
Have NOT dealt with this company
Have NOT dealt with this company. They are SCAMMERS !! 2 sums have been taken from my account. Will now have to cancell my card !!!!
Attempted to take £19.99 from my credit card
Attempted to take £19.99 from my credit card yeasterday. Lloyd's managed to get it back but had to cancel the card. How this company got hold of my card details is a complete mystery.
Shambolic
This shower took £89.80 out of my account on Friday the 10th of this month.
I Googled for there contact number and called them this Monday depending my monies back as I had given no permission to take money out of my account.
Told them if they didn’t refund me or I would take there director to court a Nicole Kent.
Refund is now back into my account.
SHAMEFUL
What is going on here? My 88 year old father has just discovered nearly £600 taken out of his bank account at the Halifax. They have given him advice, but ultimately I will not give up until his money has been recovered. He has ordered stuff from catalogues or from the TV, I'm not sure, then the scammers move in using his card details I presume. There should be something legally one can do.
These scammers are the slipperiest eels ever and think they are actually untouchable. I am furious as they prey upon vulnerable people and are not transparent in the way they work. Ie. No contracts, emails, letters to confirm what they are doing. Seems once they have your bank details they are signing you up to contracts that have had no authorisation from the card holder.
Disgusting individuals who should be ashamed, but they have ZERO morals so have no shame.

my elderly nanny has been scammed by these people. first they took £10 out and then £79 today, using her already stolen card. these people are not good, don’t fall for the trick.
Takes money without permission!!
I did not sign up to anything and made that clear on the phone call.. did not give my bank details yet, they have tried to get £65.99 x 2 from my account. Nothing but a scam!! A disgrace...
Luckily my bank was on the ball
I had a phone call from this company…
I had a phone call from this company today I have a call blocker phone and the caller still manages to get through as he announced the call because we had been waiting on a call from someone at the council so when the person announced his name was Chris I pressed 1 to accept his call then found myself chatting to this scammer I didn't know that at the time until I read all these reviews after the call which I blocked I never gave him any bank details he said something about motors I said I didn't drive then he mentioned something about books but I said I don't read and finally he was going on about cookery books and a puzzle book I contacted the bank after the phone call but they can't put a block for premier on my account so I will just have to keep a very close eye on it as I was unemployed for years and now im a carer for my elderly parent and can't really afford to have anything taken out my account the man said i had ordered something in the past but I can't recall what it was my brother works for the citizens advice and they do a lot of work helping to stop scams
Premier Cash Back Rewards & Premier Pet…
Premier Cash Back Rewards & Premier Pet Rewards...my elderly mother has received 2 letters purporting to an alleged conversation she had on the 20th April...signing her up to their services....she doesn't even have a pet....she is adamant she hasn't spoken to this company....Scammers, you should be ashamed
£79 was taken out of my a/c in April
£79 was taken out of my a/c in April, I knew nothing about it. Phoned them and it was something I had signed up for in Feb (news to me) insisted a refund, I received this beginning of May. Checked my bank a/c and refund was there but £74 taken out. Contacted them and an Indian sounding man said I had taken out an offer in Nov 23 (takes 6 months to process subscription ?) Took me a while to convince him to do a refund, he only did it after I told him my bank would get involved, Will check in 5 days to see if it happens. Contacted my bank who has put a block on them and confirmed that I had never paid any money to them. How they got my bank details is a mystery unless somebody has hacked a company I have done business with.
Scammed my elderly mother who has…
Scammed my elderly mother who has Dementia. Refuse to issue a refund for a box of children's books they sent which she has absolutely no use for.
This was a cold call on her landline which is registered on the TPS.
They're breaking the law and defrauding vulnerable people in our society, karma is going to catch up with each and every individual who works at Premier Offers Direct.
This company is preying on the elderly
This company is preying on the elderly. They called my father offering discount vouchers. My father declined, but they called again and then despatched an unwanted publication with an invoice for a subscription. The cancellation slip was promptly despatched.
Preying on the elderly and vulnerable
Last week I was going through my 83-year-old father's finances and discovered that over the last twelve months, between Premier Offers Direct and Easylife, they have taken just under £2.5K from his bank account. When my daughter called them, it was claimed that this was for membership of over ten "Reward Clubs", all with annual fees. I do not believe this was done with his knowledge and cannot trace any correspondence. He no longer drives so wouldn't benefit from the Motorists Club, nor the Gardening Club as he lives in a flat with no garden!
Apparently, they only spoke to him on the phone, so when asked for any evidence of him agreeing to this, they couldn't produce any and closed ranks refusing to discuss if any of these transactions were for legitimate orders. They have now been reported to his bank's fraud team and all the money has been refunded/claimed back. We are having to get new bank cards and change his phone number to ensure that there is no chance of them (or indeed anyone else) gaining access to his money or defrauding him again.
I have found evidence of many other people reporting situations like my father's, including a recent article in The Guardian. In most cases this involves elderly or vulnerable people, which is even more despicable. I would recommend families to sign up their relatives to the Telephone Preference and Mail Preference services to give them some protection from fraudsters like this"
