This is the best resource for passing the pre reg exam. Although it was very expensive, I would pay it all again for the confidence and security of passing my exam. The lectures were enthusiastic and helpful, and the content was organised, helpful and summarised well. If you’re thinking about which course to buy like I was thinking, get pre reg shortcuts is my best advice this year.

I passed on my first try thanks to Pre-reg shortcut. About one month before the exam, I solved the 1000+ questionbanks from the premium programme and this gave me confidence on solving clinical questions. Also the math questions were similar to the actual exam.

The lectures were very helpful but I think the question bank helped me the most. However, it would be better if the question banks were categorozed by chapters. This made me solve the questions at a later time.

Thank you so much to preregshortcuts, and in particular Marvin, his clinical lectures were brilliant, and the way he engages you makes you really interested to learn. Everything was broken down so well, and the mnemonics really helped me to learn the content. The new question bank was incredible as well, and I actually found the questions were similar to the GPhC exam, highly recommend, and well worth the money

I passed the GPhC exam on my first attempt and that’s all because of your help and these amazing course that you provide. Honestly couldn’t have don’t it without you guys. I would say that I have used your course for 95% of my revision and it got me a comfortable pass. Also the encouragement and positive vibes Marvin, Umar, and Georgina give is on whole deferent level. This is definitely the best option for everyone.

where do I begin?
Marvin & Umar go above and beyond for their students, the help doesn’t start at pre reg, it starts before, it continues throughout and they’re there for you after, whether that is a pass or a fail. despite their content being so throughly well explained, if there’s anything you don’t get, they will be there to explain it to you in a hundred different ways until you do get it. they’re there for you early morning or late at night. thank you for everything, highly recommend

I passed in my first attempt. I highly recommend pre-reg shortcut; they give you all what you need to pass the exam with high scores. I used their materials and followed their plan.
I got 111 out of 120 in clinical and 35 out of 40 in calculations.

No words can express how grateful I am to have been on this course, i achieved very good grades in both papers thanks this course ! Marvin explains things in a way no one can and thanks to Umar the platform is extremely convenient to use, and also his recordings on asthma are everything you need to know and explained in a very simple way ! Georgina’s calculations session every monday were amazing, her explanations , her energy are amazing! Thank you all for this amazing course and I hope you will continue doing the amazing job you are doing for a very long time :)

This was my 3rd sitting at the exam. The last 2 attempts I didn't have a training provider, therefore I needed to pass, I bought the pre reg shortcuts course and it didn't dissapoint.
Certain things that make this course the best pharmacy course is the amount of time spent on each topic, no brushing over topics, but going into detail and highlighting what the most common examinable areas are, for clinical as well as calculations topics.
I'm very happy I got this course and it helped me pass my final attempt.

I managed to pass the GPhC exam first time round thanks to the support from PreRegShortcuts! They understand the best ways to learn and they’re so passionate about inspiring future pharmacists. I would’ve not been able to pass without this course. Literally on point, so detailed. The motivation they’ve given was amazing every single time i felt like giving up I would message Umar, Marvin or Georgina and they would immediately lift my mood and so realistic with their advice too. The course overall, literally prepared me for the worst, and i achieved way better than what i thought. It’s all down to you - how you revise with the information handed to you.

My revision group consisted of four of us. All four of us came out of the exam and said it was easy. The clinical that is taught with marvin you will not find anywhere. I got 97 on clinical and my 2 of my friends got 100+. I can't comment on the calcs as I didn't use it but the clinical is fantastic and you're setting up to fail without it.

Honestly worth every single penny, the guidance, the support, everything. DEFINITELY has everything a trainee needs to smash the GPHC exam!

I bought the mock and I didn't realise the marking scheme was only available for 48 hours after completing and so I was unable to review my answers in detail. When I contacted them, they said the only way to regain access was to spend another £75. At this price, it is ridiculous that you don't get unlimited access and 48 hours definitely isn't enough time. I found this very unfair and so I wouldn't recommend it to others.

I really enjoyed watching the videos, you can't get bored learning with pre-reg shortcut. The teachings are really detailed, with emphasis on certain aspects based on previous and potential GPhC exam questions. The Mnemonics and Acronyms are very helpful.
Additionally, I believe that providing explanations for certain things can aid in better understanding and retention.
Also, since the slides can't be downloaded, listening and making notes takes a lot of time. In addition to working full-time, e-portfolio and so on, it may not be feasible for one finish the essential course in 20 weeks. It will be very thoughtful and considerate to allow the essential plan span from when bought till the exam. The time restrictions should be reviewed please.

They give you what you need to Pass!!

The course was really helpful. It focuses on the main points that you need to know for the exam. Rather than diving in the deep sea of information from everywhere, it directs you to what you really need to focus on, and help you gain and retain the information so that you can never forget. The way they teach is amazing, you never get bored, no matter how long the video is. Overall, I am so glad that I passed of course and felt that I was right when I did choose pre-reg shortcuts.

All good I would reccomend it for every trainee

In the midst of all the options available to study during my trainee year I felt lost until I found out about Pre-Reg Shortcuts. It was literally my life-saver and helped me to pass my exam. Enrolling to the course was a win-win situation in my opinion, because even if I didn't pass, I knew that I will get my money back. This course gave me the much needed structure, I made my notes early on based on the videos in the same order as the BNF, and I rarely even looked at the BNF itself. I did enrol to the private course as well, but dropped out as there was too much pressure on me trying to balance work, studies and family. The motivation sessions were a bonus, and came just in time for me when I needed motivation the most. Definitely recommend the course to anyone, it's an investment for the future. Thank you Marvin, Georgina and Umar, you are as lively in real life (it was a pleasure to meet you) as you are on screen!

I found the clinical course very helpful as I'm more of a visual/audio learner so appreciated I had that available to me rather than just pages and pages/slides of content to read and try to understand myself. The revision process was still very long and there were still some parts I had to go and read the BNF/guidelines to get a clearer picture, however Marvin and Umar's energy, jokes and reassurance (especially in having a 'no stupid questions' vibe) made the process of going through and understanding the content less of a burden and lonely.

However, I did find the studying process a bit tedious and time consuming as understanding the content is one thing, and then studying/learning the content is another. The acronyms, tables and study group chat were a good start in this process, but I still found it very difficult trying to actually memorise the content and test myself. I did not feel the Q&A sessions/e-mailed questions were enough to support my learning in this way, and over the months I found myself having to repeat lectures I had already learnt over and over again and and panicking as I had forgotten everything. Although I do see they are making efforts to move towards more active learning/question banks so that's good. The standard combo course as it stands does not include OTC/MEP so this is a big area that you still need to make sure you cover in your personal studying (or pay extra for it...which I find unfair). From the reviews I do see these issues (including active recall) were smoothed out for those in the private group, so I guess you get what you pay for. But know there are other courses available that include OTC/MEP as well as focus on active recall for similar price points/cheaper as the standard combo course (although they probably lack the community and positive vibes that this course has).

The maths portion of this course did not support my learning as it's not as detailed or 'beginner-friendly' as the clinical course. I had to buy another maths course (pharmacy masterclass) in order to understand calculations and feel comfortable in them (which I do highly recommend).

Overall, I do not regret purchasing as I don't think I would've gotten the morale boosts and support that I received from this community from another course. The clinical content is very detailed and I understood content a lot better than just reading it on a screen/books. Pre-regs should know this course is not a magic pill or a shortcut! you still have to put in a LOT of work and will still be feeling frustrated and all the horrible emotions that come with this year. And for the price I would say that this course is not necessary, especially if you are someone who can learn the content yourself or have other materials available to you. But it's lovely to not feel alone, supported and like you can ask as many 'stupid' questions as you like without feeling silly. I also made friends/expanded my network from the group too which is always a bonus! :D

After 7 long years today I was able to submit my application to join the register!
And this was possible only because of PRE REG SHORTCUTS! And the PRE REG SHORTCUTS PRIVATE GROUP.
This has only been possible thanks to great boss Marvin, the clinical master Raheem and the genius calculation tutor Georgina!
This course has disciplined me from scratch…not just in studies but in life too!
It has structured my revision in ways that I could have never done it on my own!
I used to hate calculations so so much I remember only getting 10/40 in one pst paper.
I started by watching Umar’s calculations videos and set the base of my knowledge.
Afterwards I joined the private course and Georgina explained each calculations style one by one and gave us lots of different examples for each style from easy to complex!
And once I completed everything I was able to achieve always 30+ in all the past papers!!
For clinical Marvins videos are absolutely amazing the way he explains each chapter and makes everything easy!
Raheem made clinical even more easier with his bombastic revision time table!
Each chapter was broken down into questions and there are banks of clinical quizzes, situational judgmental questions,
SBAs and EMQs.
And furthermore they have podcasts for each chapter which I had on replay 24/7.
After following all of this I was able to pass with flying colours on my third and last but best attempt!!!

Overrated and exaggerated by many! I've known colleagues who failed while relying on it. Far better courses out their with more content and a better learning structure. I would suggest do your research as everyone learns differently!
