I contacted Proline Drainage and clearly explained that we had an electric toilet, asking whether they were able to work on this type of system. I was assured that they could.
When the engineer arrived, he stated that they could not work on electric toilets. He then contacted head office and said he needed to take photos and proceeded to inspect he drainage which really was not an issue.
Two months later, I received an invoice for £150.00 for a “drain inspection,” stating that the toilet was a Portuguese brand (which is incorrect as it is Japanese) and recommending that the toilet be replaced.
In the meantime, I had already arranged for a plumber to attend, who fixed the issue for £70. I am extremely disappointed to be charged for drain inspection which I did not require, incorrect information was given, and the problem was resolved elsewhere for less than half the cost.

The guys visited our small estate after a blockage within the main run to the shared pumping chamber and diagnosed the issue quickly.

They managed to clear the blockage and restored a number of residents toilets back to being able to flush adequately.

We discovered a substantial blockage from our kitchen sink on a Friday at 6.00 pm, which is never a good time to find someone to sort out the crisis. To our amazement when we rang, Dean at Proline answered at once, arranged for someone to come and sort it out within the hour, and Kevin arrived and was enormously efficient and quick. We were hugely impressed and would certainly recommend this firm.

I cannot rate these guys highly enough.
I had sewage all over my garden from a blocked drain. I went through Check A Trade, Dean called me almost immediately, reassured me they only charge a flat rate fee. Then, Dan called me to tell me how clear away he was, cleared the drain, used a camera to show it wasn't my blockage but neighbours and cleared waste from my patio.
As a woman in her own, you need to trust a company, know they will not take advantage, as has happened before, and they were just brilliant, reassuring and totally trustworthy.

Fixed an external leak recently. Their staff are highly professional and made sure you understood progress re the job in hand.

Dean and his team offer excellent service, right from the initial callout on a Saturday evening (when other firms never got back to me) to lining and replacing sections of drain as needed. A swift and professional service at a good price. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Dean/ Proline was the only person/company (out of 9 contacted) who responded to my cry for help with a tricky and tight plumbing/drainage pipe situation. Within a few hours of my post he'd made contact and came to quote the next day.

He's a genuinely nice person with magical and excellent plumbing skills and obviously has many years of professional experience.

Within the week, the problem was sorted, matching the quote and a few other unseen issues were also fixed - troubleshooting and problem solving the whole time as it was not an easy fix.

We where having a new patio laid in conjunction with additional aco-drains installed to which Dean was involved due to his drainage knowledge in particular.
During the work Dean and the guys found an issue with our land drain where it had not been connected back to the house down pipe correctly by the developer and allowed for potential subsidence over time.
Dean immediately stopped all work to make sure we where made aware of the issue and to explain what the steps where in order to make good so we could continue to lay the new patio and aco-drains.
Dean is very knowledgeable about what was wrong with the drainage, not only the aco-drainage but the land drain and what is required to meet building requirements which gave us confidence in the work long term.
We agreed a course of action to remedy the works and we where able to get the original patio and aco-drainage job completed without further issue to which we where very happy with the finish.
After job was complete and the patio fully laid Dean was happy to discuss his findings and even produced us a report with pictures he had documented so we were able to go back to our developer and recover the cost of the additional works which was greatly appreciated.
