Stay clear of this company, they give me price to do work then 3 days before appointment they rang up and double it.

After looking into the email dialogue you had with our team, we can see that we misquoted the price on your initial enquiry and when contact was made to confirm your appointment the price was corrected. Our colleague apologised for the mistake and took ownership of this at the time.
We are very sorry we failed to meet your expectations. Whilst we have tried to fix the error, we have been unable to meet your expectations. We will be reviewing our internal processes to ensure we continue giving our customers the good service we are known for.

faulty 3 times, absolute fault liability
new a couple of years back, but a water leak, they missed PTFE on joint. a year later completely stopped working, sent to Ringwood, new PCB, worked for 6 months, now flashing 5 leds and states return to dealer. please Do Not Buy as works occassionally!!!

Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage. Work only in perfect conditions. Mines only worked a couple of times. Best way to get heat out of it is to set it on fire. I can't believe they are still on the market. Junk.

heatsource HS 2000
I have a heatsource HS 2000 I purchased in 2013 but it has only been used for about 5 hours in ten years.I tried to use it 2 months ago and it would not work so I took it to Propex at ringwood and after a few weeks they rang me and said it needed a new circuit board and would cost about £220. It cost about £440 when purchased so in all total cost just under £700 for 5 hours use. Got to be the most expensive heating ever. Now buying a chinese diesel heater @ £129 what a ripoff company.

With any mechanical equipment, frequent use is always the best course of action to ensure the internals do not seize overtime. Bought a Heatsource HS2211 unit which has never worked. Various wiring issues and fault codes. At first they answered my emails but now they just ignore me. Avoid!

Top notch service and a great product. Purchased an underslung gas tank kit. Was really impressed with build quality. Excellent fitting instructions in plain English with pictures. Next day delivery so could not ask for more. Wish all companies were the same.

Decent products (kinda) but zero…
Decent products (kinda) but zero customer support. They take your money then cast you onto the wind and leave you to figure everything out for yourselves. I've spent thousands on their products but never, ever, had 1 tech-support reply in almost 10 years.

I bought a Heatsource 2000 2 years ago…
I bought a Heatsource 2000 2 years ago and upto now no problems until 2weeks ago a simple problem with the 'heat on' led. Asked 3 times in 2 weeks to send me a part of a diagram that shows the components that control the LED so I could repair it myself.
No help at all from these people, except the usual auto reply.
Will never buy from them again. I bought a diesel air heater for £87.90 brand new from China for my boat which works great. A lot cheaper than the £495 for a Heatsource heater that I have in my caravan.

Best customer service so far
I ordered the wrong size of water heater for my caravan and wanted to change it. Got in touch with Propex and they agreed to do this straight away. Thanks to Sally.x
Billy, in the tech department has outstanding knowledge on the heaters and he sorted out a query I had. A real Scottish engineer. Thanks Billy.
