Stay away from this scam transport comp
Stay away from this scam transport comp. Took a deposit at an agreed upon price to transport my vehicle and this was followed by bidders who had not agreed to the negotiated price. Pro Ship Auto refuses to refund my deposit when requested and all contact to abide by our agreement has ceased. Major rip off company and all should stay as far away from them as possible.
Following is what was on the PO that I sign and which culminated in paying $110 deposit:
ProShip Auto Transport LLC Order Invoice Order Number - 30447621-PAT Date Order Place - 01/09/2024 M.C.# 1540509
So here's the update:
After sharing my order information above, I was contacted by the vendor apologizing for the experience articulated above. They promised to refund my deposit and asked if I was willing to reconsider my review if I receive the deposit money back. I said most certainly. The follow was then written to me:
"Sir as you can see with one click the money will be released from my account into yours
But before that I need to make sure the review is transformed into 5-star
Can we proceed pls?"
Given this vendor's past ineptitude, of course, my response was an empathic NO. Receipt of deposit first!
No word from them since and no returned deposit. These morans have placed a higher value on $110.00 over all the prospective customers who will read this review and look elsewhere for auto transport services....as their right-mind will mostly certainly lead them.
John, happy to discuss this with you. You have my number. Just so you know, the carrier you made reference to below was canceled by me because the price they quoted was hundreds of dollars above what was agreed to between Pro Transport and me. Give me a call.

We always refund the deposits if we cannot get the job done if everything was okay with our police. Can you please provide us contact information so that we can reach you out...? Please!
Hi there, It is true that ProShip Auto Transport LLC has worked on your order and assigned a carrier for the shipment. As it is a road business, there was a truck broke down. In order not fail, we also assigned another carrier for your vehicle and we made a reservation on behalf of you. But that time, you worked with another company and we are not sure if you got your car transported. But when the carrier that was assigned by our company contacted with you, you cancelled this driver. As drivers do not go pick up location without getting reservation, we have spent your deposit to book a spot for your vehicle.
When my customer service department contacted you about the situation and agreed to make it happen for your benefits, even though it was total mistake of carriers, you didn't agree...
Anyway, we worked on your order, spent time and energy on it and we assigned several carriers, your shipment with us failed because of carriers. But for customer's satisfaction, ProShip Auto transport is ready to refund your money anytime, here is my contact number
