The surveyor arrived on time.He seemed completely competent and gave professional advice.

Keith came to do a damp survey as we have strong smelling damp in the cellar.

Keith arrived on time, in uniform and a branded vehicle. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and incredibly generous with his time and recommendation.

What's more, rather than persuade me to use Proten's services, Keith advised our problem was a job for a builder or even DIY. His honesty and integrity was very gratefully received indeed!

Proten have provided me with a great service over the past year, I have been using them to provide reports and carry out damp course works at various properties within the portfolio I manage, there availability for appointments and communication has been excellent, there reports are easy to read and I will continue to use there services in the foreseeable future.

The standard of their work is very high and their response times and turnarounds are second to none.

I would avoid using this company for damp coursing and or plastering, worst £4500 I have ever spent poor quality workmanship areas of plaster missing, excessive cracking and large areas of blown plaster all because they used fast drying cement and didn't follow their own plastering specification all done to cut corners and save time

Avoid avoid avoid they only talk a good game they make their rules up as they go along and dont follow their own specifications

Proten's professionalism and customer service was totally unacceptable.

They performed a damp course which didn't work.
They miss-judged other causes of damp.
They missed the full survey appointment down to back office errors.
They accused myself and my property manager of the errors.
Their customer service line was: "if you have a damp problem - call a plumber...!"

Do not use!

Was really concerned about approaching any company about what appeared to be rising damp in my house as was worried that I would be taken for a ride; however the gentleman from ProTen didn't try to sell me anything. Instead he gave me sensible advice as to what may be causing the problem and how I could resolve it quite quickly. Am so glad my friend recommended the company to me. Would not hesitate to recommend them to someone else.

I was very satisfied with the standard of the remedial work, but just a little disappointed that all the replacement skirting boards did not match the original ones.

I had a PIV unit installed by this company. It brought our radon levels well below the target level and I am very pleased with the product. The service was professional and friendly throughout and all my questions and queries were answered, and continue to be. Although the air trickling out makes our landing colder than we would like it in the winter months, I would recommend this company without reservation.
