Proyecto Peru Volunteer & Language Centre Opiniões 

I have been staying in Cusco for 3 weeks as part of the Plan My Gap Year project, and my final 3 weeks was with Proyecto Peru. Even though we were staying with a host family, Proyecto made sure we stayed in contact with all the other volunteers in the communal building, by organising weekly quizzes and having organised activities such as Salsa dancing and cocktail making classes. The staff were easily contactable through WhatsApp or over the phone, and made sure all our questions were answered. We volunteered for 3 weeks at Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, it was so fun and interesting to work with different and unique animal species, and Enrique helped us navigate and make our way to the Sanctuary. Angie was also really helpful in organising weekend trips such as Sacred Valley, Moras Moray and helped us to book Machu Picchu even after the 3 weeks. Cusco is an amazing city, and everyone in Proyecto was really friendly and helpful, we had the best time.

I spent 4 weeks at Proyecto Peru. During that time I met the loveliest people, had the craziest nights and so many memories I won‘t forget. The time at my project was super cute. I loved spending time with the children and playing with them. I always felt welcome at the house. Thank you PPC!

Proyecto Perú has been nothing short of phenomenal. My intentions here were to improve my Spanish for my long term career plans. I spent 4 weeks with the program as a dental intern. I enjoyed the structure that the program provides. I spent a couple hours a day with formal classes, which the professors have expertise in modifying the speed and style of each lesson. I spent most of
my time chatting about pertinent cultural and pertinent topics. My dental clinic experience has been great as well. The doctors and team have been awesome and have added to my personal and professional development. My home stay has been inviting and I’m happy that I was able to live and share my life with my family. Overall I recommend this program because of the comprehensive approach and the friendly and professional staff. A big shout out to Enrique, Cherelyn, Drs. Juliana and Jose, y Patricia. I am thankful for such a great experience!

I had the best time with Proyecto Peru! During the 6 months living in the volunteer house I had so many amazing experiences and met the loveliest people who eventually became a second family to me! The PPC staff is a great team, all willing to make your stay an unforgettable experience. In my case they were absolutely successful! I would recommend a stay there and definitely will come back one day!

The company really cares about all your feedback and tries to improve constantly. You feel safe, heared with them and taken seriously.
They offer many different projects which all are for a good cause. No matter if you work with kids, patients or animals, you will love your time there. The proyecto Peru home is a super friendly and nice place where you will feel home and you'll meet your future best friends

I would totally book again with Proyectu Peru, but would sign up for another project. My psychology internship wasn‘t the best and i had rather used my time to study more spanish or help in another project. I was very happy though with the service Proyecto Peru provided. They always provided me with solutions and listened to my concerns. So Proyecto Peru was definitely the right choice, but the psychology program stills needs more organizing for it to be beneficial to people doing an internship. I would still come again and would totally recommend Proyecto Peru to anyone out there :)

My experience with ProyectoPeru is one that I will forever cherish. I desired to carry out volunteer work during the pandemic, which was far from easy to find, and ProyectoPeru did an amazing job at facilitating options for me. I loved the fact that ProyectoPeru was a local program providing volunteer opportunities to their local community. Although difficult due to restrictions of the pandemic, Enrique, Linda and Dieuwke especially, made a huge effort in ensuring I not only enjoyed my volunteer programs but ensured I discovered what Cusco and its culture had to offer. I would highly recommend working with ProyectoPeru to anyone who aspires to volunteer to help grow struggling communities and to anyone who desires to explore the exquisite culture and beautiful scenery the Peruvian landscape provides.

I had a very nice experience at the Proyecto Peru Volunteer house. The staff was really helpful with all questions or needs.
I enjoyed meeting and staying with the other volunteers, and it ended up being like a little community.

My stay at proyecto Peru met all my expectations and more. The staff members help you out if you need something and give you tips, we're to wash your clothes, we're to buy food ect. The kitchen has anything you need and the rooms are no different than in Europe. What I liked the most was meeting all the other volunteers and Spanish students. Every single person I met tried to make you feel comfortable as the new person in the volunteer house. I would also recommend to take part in the weekly activities, as they are a great way to meet the people who are staying with host families and get to know cusco better.

I spent an amazing 2 weeks in the sacred valley volunteering at the Media Luna horse ranch! I loved getting to be apart of the community and experience the culture and life here. The mountains and wildlife are just breathtaking & getting to experience that on horseback was awesome. My host family was welcoming and kind. They helped me be apart of the community in a way I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own. Overall I had a very nice stay and felt at home. I had 1 week of private Spanish classes at my homestay as well. I also had the opportunity to try many types of delicious food and even cook a traditional meal with my volunteer family! All the while learning about the culture people and language. The absolute best way to learn is to experience, and Proyecto Peru offers a great opportunity for this. I definitely recommend this program and volunteering in the sacred valley! I’ve had many adventures and made memories that I won’t ever forget :)

I've spent three fantastic weeks in Cusco with Proyecto Peru. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help you and ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The centre has a lovely relaxed vibe and the Spanish lessons couldn't have been better (shout-out to my teacher Luz!). Booking trips was also made incredibly easy by Angie and Enrique played a massive role in making me feel a part of the community

My month in Cusco changed my life. I have gotten so much better in Spanish and spent so much time in community with others.

I discovered Proyecto Peru by accident, but no chance could have ended better. A perfectly organized company, with immediate and decisive feedbacks and a very impressive package of programs. The staff is always extremely courteous, helpful and smiling (on top Enrique and Angie!), and the teachers patient and very knowledgeable (especially Patricia). My personal experience as a volunteer in the animal rescue center was formative. The two weeks at Proyecto Peru left me with wonderful memories, such as the social evening at the center where we meet to do multiple fun activities. What to say. Never has any discovery been more pleasant

It was a really organized trip, the team mostly did everything for us and they are always super understanding, especially if you’re not feeling the best when you first get here. The experience overall is just amazing and the host families are super nice.

Proyecto Peru was the most wonderful experience. Tons of community, great living quarters. I made so many friends. They really set you up for success during your time in Peru. Getting to know the community was one of my highlights of my travel. I want to come back here someday. Cannot recommend it enough.

I really liked my stay at Proyecto Perú! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the house is beautiful and traditionally decorated, which i really liked. It’s also located near the historic center of Cusco. The spanish lessons were very effective and the room, kitchen etc. clean and organised.

Proyecto peru is in a really nice location close to the central plaza and the building is very spacious and well decorated. The staff there are lovely and friendly, like most people in Peru. Activities provided for students and volunteers have great prices with reliable tour companies and beautiful destinations.

The Best Spanish School in Cusco

I had an amazing time at Proyecto Peru. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. I really enjoyed the weekly activities as they were great opportunities to make friends with the other students and volunteers. My classes were very helpful and I improved my Spanish drastically. I really enjoyed the field trips we took so we could practice our Spanish outside of the classroom while also learning about the Peruvian culture. I would definitely recommend coming here!
