I had my first appointment at the Pulse Light Clinic Bank branch after transferring from Tottenham Court Road, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.

From the outset, the appointment felt rushed. My clinician, Christina, initially attempted to use a different laser because the correct machine was occupied, explaining she was “testing to see if it would work” and that this laser was “the same.” (It wasn’t, as it was a Picosure laser she was using instead of Picoway). She did not explain the treatment at all. I am aware from previous clinicians that we were meant to use Picoway laser on one of my tattoos yet she started out with this without explanation. After I questioned her, she said we can go next door to use the laser first intended for my tattoo. This immediately made me question whether convenience was being prioritised over the correct treatment.

What disappointed me most was Christina’s attitude. When I asked questions about my treatment and the laser settings, I was met with dismissive and condescending responses. I was told I “didn’t need to ask,” that clients wouldn’t understand, and was even asked, “Do you even understand that?” after the explanation was deliberately rushed. She would frequently ignore me and spoke with an unwelcoming attitude. No client should be made to feel belittled for wanting to understand the treatment they are paying for.

She also complained about colleagues during my appointment and even criticised me after asking me to hold the cooling machine for myself without first explaining how to hold it, she criticised me for holding it still without explaining how you’re meant to hold it (when you’re meant to shake it) but how would a client know this? Very unprofessional

I’ve always had positive experiences at the Tottenham Court Road branch, so this came as a real surprise. I left feeling uncomfortable, with little confidence in the care I received, and requested a different clinician for all future appointments. I hope Pulse Light Clinic takes this feedback seriously, as this experience fell well below the standard of professionalism I expected. I have since contacted customer services via email. ☹️😓

Update: The clinic has reached out extensively to address my concerns and offered a complimentary laser removal and LED light facial session to make things right. I have been assured that I will no longer be paired with the same clinician I had this experience with.

I had my Morpheus8 treatment with Kat and couldn’t recommend her more highly. She was so lovely from the moment I arrived and immediately put me at ease.

Kat is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all of my questions without making me feel rushed. She was kind, professional and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment.

I love the fact that the staff here always make me feel comfortable every session even though it is very intimate areas I am getting lasered, so I don’t feel embarrassed in the slightest. I’ve had a few sessions and have already seen such good results, especially because the laser place I went to before didn’t really do a good job so I would highly recommend pulse light clinic! Also the treatment rooms are always cleaned to such high standards, love it!

I had my full upper body tattoos removed by Lucy at Pulse Light Clinic in Manchester. Lucy worked with my tattoo artist who advised me as some tattoos needed more removal then others due to what tattoo was covering up the old work. The Picosure lasers removed the ink fast and I was more than happy with the end result. Ive recommended Lucy and Pulse Light to my friends all who are very happy with the result
