Not only do Rab provide some of the best outdoor clothing on the market, their customer service is the best I have encountered. Super quick reply's, a real person from Rab picks up the phone when you call them and any problems with delivery gets resolved very quickly. Very happy with Rabs products and services, would highly recommend to anyone.

Just looked online at RAB jackets.
Seems madness they have ruined them all by putting on really large collars that is so out of sync with the rest of the jacket size! ...... and bulbous hoods as well

Its a shame, will shop / buy elsewhere

great jackets love them

I booked a wash for my down coat and needed a fast turn. The coat was returned to me - like a brand new coat - within a matter of days. I had mentioned that I was needing it for a trip a way and I got a text from someone at Rab saying they had fitted into the last wash and would get it dried and back asap.

Excellent service, fantastic communication and customer care....and a great wash too - can't get a down coat returned to this in a domestic washer and dryer. Very pleased.

I don't know who built their website but it's completely broken. I search for "Mens force tee" see results after half a minute, click one, and then one of two things happens: 1) nothing 2) the main landing page shows. Do they have some kind of ad package running in the background that is failing to load and prevents page load? It's absolutely terrible - the website is functionally unusable. Which is a shame because I love their products. This is in Chrome as well as Safari on Mac OS. We're talking 35 second page load times, or even in-page component load likes updating shipping address.

I bought a yellow & black down jacket for £175, and after wearing it a few times I realised how dirty it looked. Actually, it wasn't dirty, but it was the dark down showing through the yellow.
I contacted Rab customer service, and the communication was really good, and we agreed it was probably a design fault as the down doesn't show on darker colours.
I don't wear the jacket now because it looks dirty and will have to start saving for a similar jacket, but not Rab.
I hope they advise customers in future.

A defect on my Lowe Alpine backpack was judged as a manufacturing fault without any hassle, which allowed me to buy a new backpack (RAB!). Two defects on jackets were resolved free of charge, and a broken zipper after 4 years of use was replaced for only €10. When you buy Rab, you get great gear with an excellent warranty to help you out when something goes wrong. Thank you, RAB!" My Rab jacket became faulty, so I sent it in for repair. Because I needed it back urgently, I emailed customer service to ask if the process could be expedited.

The response was incredibly prompt. On the exact same day my faulty jacket arrived at their facility, they assessed it and informed me it could not be repaired. Instead, they immediately arranged a brand-new replacement.

Dave provided regular updates throughout the entire process and was exceptionally helpful. I now have my new jacket and will absolutely continue to buy Rab products. Fantastic service!

Just a quick reminder to Rab that you shouldn’t let marketing run the business and you shouldn’t have taken external investment capital that led you to leave behind the values that make you successful.

It was over 14 months ago that two new Firewall jackets wetted out completely and you didn’t allow my review to be published in your website. An no, they were not past season products and there was no other reason not to publish.

Since then I have bought Terra Nova, Durston x2 and Big Agnes tents. I have bought lots of Montane. My 2 3L Goretex jackets are Haglofs. My Octa fleece is Norrona. My trail runners are La Sportiva. My merino is Smartwool, Darn Tough and Artilect. My quilts are Neve Gear x2. My sleeping bag is Nemo. My pads are Exped, Big Agnes, Flextail, and Nemo. My backpacks are Osprey x2, Montane, Fjallraven, and Durston. I could go on.

It’s a fun game this. All these purchases and many more have been since I reviewed the two firewall jackets and you didn’t post the review. I emailed 4 times to engage as to why. You didn’t respond to any of the emails.i haven’t purchased a single Rab product since.

So just thought I’d hop back on here and remind you what you lose with every poor decision driven by profit not customer and values. It takes a while to build trust, it takes a nanosecond to lose it.

To others reading these reviews, go buy from some of the companies I have mentioned above, not Rab. They are owned by investment capital so you’re doing anyone any favours!

Bought a Rab coat from Cotswold outdoor which developed a fault after 11 months. Cotswold took six weeks to come out with an excuse that it was not wear and tear and it was external factors and that the cuffs had been cut🙄 Sent it to Rab who repaired and return the coat in a week absolutely First Class service

Sent my down jacket back to have several tears repaired. The tears were all my fault (brambles etc). Extremely pleased with the result. They replaced an entire panel on the back of the jacket and fixed several smaller holes I hadn’t even asked to have repaired. Excellent service, great communication. My jacket had been relegated to dog walking and gardening; now suitable for wearing out again. Delighted.

Just had my Rab down jacket cleaned by Rab. It was very easy to deal with. Order and pay online, they send you the labels. I posted this on Saturday 9th May. The turnaround time was 14 days. I then received an email from DPD on Thursday 14th May informing me my jacket was being delivered that day. It's a fantastic service, the jacket came back looking like new. I was very impressed that I received my jacket within 5 days. I would highly recommend these and would use them again.

I have recently bought a RAB Microlight alpine down jacket and the matching gilet to replace my old Rab jacket and gilet. The quality seems to have gone down the pan! The down is coming out through the seams all over the place on both items, I’ve even had to get the gilet repaired at my local seamstress.
Yes they are still as warm as my previous ones, but these new ones just seem far less quality, and REALLY delicate considering what they are meant to be used for.
Not impressed and won’t be buying RAB again.

I sent my jacket in for a repair and wash. The 2 inch tear on the arm has vanished, there is no sign of it ever being there. Well worth the price to get fixed, i would use again if needed and recommend the service.

After purchasing my first item from Rab, it has become my go-to place for any jacket, coat, hoody, etc. The quality is fabulous and the fit is perfect for me. I'm slim (5'9"/120lbs.) and can order a small size and know that the sleeves will fit my long arms! The workmanship is stellar and the company stands behind their products.
