Lack of professionalism and integrity.
As soon as RateMyAgent came live as part of the subscription in Orlando MLS (ORRA) I signed up for it because it is included in the ORRA membership. In the basic membership for RateMyAgent, all linked accounts were included except Google My Business. Basically, all my new reviews will go in all my social media automatically as long as I had my accounts linked to RateMyAgent. The customer service was amazing. The only one that I had to pay was Google My Business so I signed up after a month or 2 for $39.99 plus tax per month. I decided to build a website so I cut that expense out. Automatically they disconnected not only Google My Business but also Facebook. And the review that was on Google My Business during the time that I was paying for the reviews to show up on my Google page disappeared too. RateMyAgent shows a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. As I explained in my cancellation letter, I was planning to go back to a paying membership as soon as I got another sale. Completely disappointed.

I have tried to get in touch with you over the last few weeks to assist with your profile and run through a few things with you.
I want to reassure you that after an agent cancels their subscription, we do not make any changes to the activity done while the subscription was in place. It appears you may be referring to the Google Posts functionality where the post does automatically remove after 7 days, this is the functionality of the product on Google and doesn’t relate to your RateMyAgent cancellation.
In regards to Facebook, it does appear your profile has been disconnected which could be due to several different reasons. I have sent you through an email with a guide on how you can get this back up and running so you can continue to share your reviews!

a fake review was posted under my name…
a fake review was posted under my name - there was no verification of that review. When I contacted RMA they removed the review and within day another review was posted, supposedly by the purchaser. This was worded similarly to the original and I expect that to be false as well as it stated "the vendors were ecstatic" which was far from the truth.

Great website but can be hard to differentiate agents
I love the idea of this website and it looks like they've put in a huge effort to build out agent profiles to the point of making it a very informative site for sellers to look up local agents in their areas.
One thing I've struggled with a bit however is that basically every agent I've looked at in my area has a rating of 4.9 or 5 out of 5. This does make it a bit hard to really differentiate between agents and to find the best one for you. I was quite surprised that all agents have such positive reviews. I've spoken to many people in the past (buyers and sellers) who have had some quite unflattering things to say about agents they've dealt with in the buying/selling process so I don't know what to take of the fact that all agents on here have such positive reviews. I'm not sure if part of the reason for so many positive ratings is the fact that agents might be less willing to sign up for a subscription service if their ratings are low? Either way it does make it a bit hard to identify the right agent for you.
That said, I do think it's a great service. To my knowledge there are no other places one can go to find reviews of all the agents near you all in one place like this website so I do think the concept is great! I'd love to know a little bit more about the rating process however as it would be good to observe a greater degree of variation among reviews to make it a little easier to identify the right agent for me.

We do understand your concern in relation to the star ratings, Agents have the option to request reviews from their vendors and buyers and there's a good chance they don't seek out the ones they know will be negative.
However, any vendor or buyer who has completed a sale can leave a review organically if they want to so they always have the opportunity to leave feedback whether positive or negative and we do encourage everyone to provide feedback on their experiences.

Have to say they have lost their way.
Agents that pay subscriptions get a push through, so much for a transparent service.
Agent with minimal sales rate above ones with more sales, suburb records and 1 sale can activate 5 reviews if multiple owners, when an agent with 3 sales and 3 reviews will rate lower.
Also agencies do not exist unless they pay a subscription, with agents that stop subscriptions all of a sudden evaporating...
Poor effort...

I want to reassure you that you do not require a subscription of any kind to be featured in our rankings, nor are we at RateMyAgent trying to sway the results in favour of those that do have a paid subscription. Our rankings showcase the agents/agencies based on statistical data from our system so consumers can make an informed decision on their next agent when they're looking to buy or sell.
The reason you were not seeing yourself featured on the rankings was purely based on the way your agency was sending data through to us from your data feed.
I have rectified this for you and sent through an email outlining all of this in detail and how to avoid it happening again in future!

When trying to leave an honest review…
When trying to leave an honest review of an agent, they kept harassing me and asking me for more and more proof. They only want reviews that rate agents highly, not honest reviews of bad experiences.

When it comes to leaving a review, whether that be positive or negative, we need to ensure that the person reviewing an agent was the confirmed vendor or buyer of the property where the review was left. This can sometimes mean we need to ask for additional information to confirm the identity of the reviewer.
We can't seem to find any records from anyone named 'Ariel' that is trying to leave a review on our platform, so we are unable to comment further on this case.

RateMyAgent allows agents to 'Post an Existing Review' which can be very beneficial when dealing with elderly clients as it allows for you to submit a review based on a letter or card they may have sent you (which is quite common).

A great review platform and has helped with my buisness.

Loop hole
My disappointment is that some agents have found a loop hole in your requests of sending the seller/buyer a testimonial request, they have used a friends and family members email and asked them to review someones else's property, If RateMyAgent could stop this I believe that would make the review portal more respected. My other pet dislike is that your portal owns the reviews, the agent worked hard and tirelessly to be able to have that review so I disagree that any agent does not own 100% there own review.
