Red Caboose Motel and Restaurant Opiniões 

I stayed here with my mother in March and we were blown away by the motel's comfort, the staff's hospitality, and all that the area had to offer! The gift shop is huge and has great souvenirs to take home. The restaurant was delicious with great prices and massive portions. The night we stayed it stormed, and hearing the rain hit the rain car was sooo relaxing. It's such a cute, cozy motel. We're already planning a trip back for later this year!

This review is about the red caboose restaurant, also known as “Casey Jones” restaurant. I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant despite being a paid customer/ dinner. These guys either don’t care or don’t know how to at least try treating customers with care and welcoming reception in a food/ hospitality industry. Our host was a racist person because she refused to serve breakfast to us saying that the kitchen had closing but continued to serve other dinners who arrived at least half an hour later.

Being overwhelmed is one thing, but being caring and treating everyone with dignity and equal respect is another. If they don’t care about that then i believe they are in the wrong line of industry. The food was average, extremely limited menu that was set in stone with no customizations allowed whatsoever, the quality of food was below average whereas this area is known for fresh produce, and the wait time was excessive. There was no apology made for being late despite a reservation.

The four stars in the public reviews do not seem real at all after what I experienced here. I would definitely go elsewhere the next time I am the area. A franchise restaurant would never mistreat you like that because there is a focused selection and training of its staff. It’s something I realized for the first time after this experience.
