Lo schifo più schifoso del web lo trovi su Reddit.com, ma non per colpa degli utenti, bensì per colpa dei moderatori che sono in molti casi dei veri e propri bimbiminkia.
Lo intuisci da come gestiscono i sub e ti levano ogni dubbio se ti capita di interagire direttamente con loro.
Bisogna usarlo allo quando ti serve e senza iscriversi. Oltre ai loro "form" generici che si focalizzano solo su alcuni argomenti, non esiste un modo per contattare qualcuno veramente responsabile o un ufficio relazioni con il pibblico. Ce l'hanno tutti i big.

Reddit is run by moderators (people who police Reddit for free) and if they don’t like what you have said they will ban you permanently.

Everyone on Reddit only has 1 opinion and if you post anything they don’t like they will ban you. I thought free speech was allowed.

They are the very definition of despair and giving up is okay. Stop Forum Spam is another.

They always send a robot reply when an appeal is denied.

The Reddit interface is looking good enough, but the platform is HORRIBLE AND FEAR, they never never never and NEVER ACCEPT YOUR APPEALS WHEN YOU ARE BANNED IN REDDIT, THIS IS HORRIBLE FIX YOUR PLATFORM RIGHT NOW

This platform is extremely toxic and hostile. People are waiting for someone to articulate an opinion that they disagree with so they can insult them despite being adults. It's in your best interest to stay away to be honest.

Great app, but the power-tripping moderators really ruin it. Reddit should get this under control.

The way the site is run makes no sense. You often need karma to post and karma is based on who votes you up or down. It's not even necessarily based on popularity because not everyone is voting . Those who do vote may not like your opinions or even your facts so vote you down. This encourages people to say what they think is popular rather then what is logical or factual. People that are less knowledgeable on a subject and post wrong information are liable to be the people voting in some circumstances. Also If you are knowledgeable about a subject you are posting on you are doing reddit a favor and not the other way around.. I have literally had bans for giving the right information. I have also literally gave information on posts with better and more accurate information only for it to never be approved. If there are actions taken against me based on a lie Reddit never corrects themselves. It's always your fault and they pretend to be blameless..I will give an example. There were people making the claim you can never time the market. This is false. For instance the market went up in anticipation of interest rate cuts. Then the personal attack starts. Then I suggest they seem to be seeing themselves in me. The conversation goes on with the other person trying to control the narrative and losing on every argument they make. At some point they probably realized this so reported me and I was banned. The admins and mods allowed wrong information in a group and then banned the person giving the right information. I am held to a high standard,yet those controlling the site often have a lower standard for themselves then I do for myself

Reddit is terrible. The most amateurish app ever. It feels like a cult. Nothing about this app is right. You can't delete your account. It keeps saying the username is incorrect, even though it is correct because I logged in with it before. What a mess. Don't even start with it!

I love debating. I have advanced degrees and love to read. I find the process of engaging in critical thinking and engaging other viewpoints to be enjoyable.
Reddit, however, will not allow this. The moderators will brook no criticism and act like incel children. If you bought a subscription or avatar, tough luck. Your money will not be refunded. You will be banned, you will not know why, and there is no due process. At all.

Esperienza pessima. Stavo semplicemente cercando dei 'art trade' (scambi artistici) in modo lecito e il sistema mi ha scambiata per uno spammer. Risultato? Profilo bannato permanentemente senza una vera ragione e, cosa ancora più grave, non mi è permesso nemmeno cancellare l'account o i miei dati personali. Praticamente il profilo è 'congelato' e inutilizzabile. È assurdo che una piattaforma così grande abbia filtri anti-spam così inefficienti che colpiscono utenti reali mentre i bot proliferano. Statene alla larga se non volete perdere tempo e lavori."

Große Plattform, wenig Transparenz

Reddit wird oft als offene, community-getriebene Diskussionsplattform dargestellt.
Meine persönliche Erfahrung war leider eine andere.

Sachlich formulierte Beiträge und Meta-Diskussionen wurden entfernt, ohne konkrete oder nachvollziehbare Begründung. Verweise auf „Regeln“ blieben allgemein, Nachfragen führten nicht zu Klarheit, sondern zur endgültigen Löschung.

Was mir besonders negativ aufgefallen ist:

fehlende Transparenz bei Moderationsentscheidungen

keine echte Einspruchs- oder Klärungsmöglichkeit

starke Abhängigkeit von einzelnen Moderatoren

Kritik an der Plattform selbst scheint kaum erwünscht

Ich verstehe und unterstütze Moderation gegen Beleidigungen, Hass oder Spam.
Aber wenn ruhige, sachliche Kritik keinen Platz hat, leidet die Glaubwürdigkeit.

Reddit ist technisch stark und thematisch vielfältig,
doch in Sachen Transparenz und Diskussionskultur gibt es deutlich Luft nach oben.

Reddit has some good content, but moderation verges on censorship, which results in a loss of high-quality material. It seems many moderators are inexperienced and wield power over content too readily (pun intended). They are also averse to criticism. So, far from being an open forum for free and wide-ranging views, it is a narrow, over-policed space where control of content is exercised without due consideration. And we're not talking politics here. This must be the antithesis of its founding principles.

Completamente deluso da questa piattaforma, bagnano gli account senza motivo e sconsiglio a chiunque di registrarsi
