Sales personnel did not listen to our specific requirements

We looked for an office that could accommodate a team that works on European (mid-shift or 2 pm to 12 am) working hours as our clients are mostly from Central Europe. We specifically provided this information when we visited the site. To be fair, the staff that gave us a tour of the premises told us that the local airconditioning on the office spaces we will rent is going to be turned off at around 6 pm but that the centralized airconditioning still works. Guess what, it did not work after 6 pm during the week that we used the office space. It was so hot. Additionally, we were not informed that if the available seats are on a first come first served basis. So, if you go to this office expecting to see a vacant seat and you didn't rent an office space, you need to wait until a seat becomes available and find another Regus office that has an available seat. Finally, they have a common meeting room which is only free of charge during the normal shift (I think 9 am to 7 pm) but if you book it past that time, they will charge you. We specifically told them about our office hours so I think it is understandable that we might have meetings after 7 pm which will require us to use the common meeting room. This information was not provided to us when they were selling the office spaces. I just hope that they will be more transparent to their future tenants who have a situation similar to ours which they can't accommodate.

We provide office customers access whenever they like but for economic reasons, the air-conditioning operates during business hours. This was explained to you during your visit.
The Community meeting room is for all customers to use on a complimentary basis but must be booked on the day and is subject to availability.
Additionally, the shared working spaces are prioritised for those with these memberships.
As you have a private office space, this is your designated workspace.
We remain committed to supporting you. Your centre team are your key contacts here and have contacted you to arrange a meeting to clarify your concerns once again.

Regus Lacks Transparency, Customer Care, and Payment Convenience

We renewed our contract with Regus for the first time in August 2024 as they require a 3 months advance notice to do this. We were shocked to discover that the **monthly rent quoted in their email was **exclusive of VAT**—**without explicitly stating so**. We have sent Regus a copy of their one page "renewal contract" to prove our side and what Philippine Law they breached, but it didn't matter to them.

📌 **According to Section 2, RA 7394 of the Consumer Act of the Philippines**, any price not labeled as "exclusive of VAT" is deemed **inclusive** of VAT. Regus failed to meet this legal standard in their renewal notice.

⚠️ Worse, they **auto-renew contracts** without getting **explicit consent** if you miss their 3-month notice period. This puts clients at a disadvantage, especially when pricing changes are unclear.

When we raised this issue, Regus **refused to adjust our lease** or even allow us to switch to a 6-month lease, their minimum plan for leased offices. Instead, we were told “the system won’t allow it.” A human-centered company would have found a way. Regus chose rigidity over customer care.

We have comletely paid the higher lease fee for 6 months, their minimum plan all the time negotiating that the services be adjusted to match our **former monthly rent, but we were ignored. Instead, Regus publicly labeled us as **non-paying client**—**despite multiple request to adjust our contract and our clear notice that we will no longer pay the monthly rent unless they correct our Statement of Account which we feel is too unfair to pay.

💳 Their billing process is also unnecessarily difficult:

* **No online bank transfers** accepted by 3 different banks due to HSBC limitations.
* **Post-dated checks not accepted.**
* **Late payments penalized**, but even when Regus charges your credit card without permission (yes, they did this), they do it **after** the due date — so they can collect **penalties**.

❌ Regus puts profit above transparency and client satisfaction. Even **canceling a renewal** is an exhausting process — you can’t just click a button; you must go through a maze of pages.

👎 This experience was not just inconvenient—it was deeply disappointing.

We have already discussed your concerns with you at length, and I can only apologise if you remain unhappy.
Our pricing is always quoted exclusive of VAT; this is stated on your initial agreement as well as on your renewal agreement.
I assure you that we are committed to the highest standards of integrity, openness, and professionalism in all our activities and would certainly not aim to mislead anybody.
As displayed in your online statement, you have not made any payments since May, and as a result your account with us has incurred late payment fees. If payment is not received by teach invoice due date, we incur administration costs and, though we would like to avoid charging you for this, we must pass on a late fee to you.
Please remember that you can review invoice and payment dates on your statement of account, available in your online account (myregus.com).
We greatly value your business and want to maintain a positive working relationship with you. However, the current payment situation needs to be resolved.
