Worst Experience EVER

Verified purchaser - DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SHYSTERS! ZERO STARS! Purchased a used engine from REMANNS.COM 6-13-22 & it was the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The used engine sent was DEFECTIVE enough that the Licensed Auto Repair Facility REFUSED TO INSTALL the engine received from REMANNS.COM. REMANNS "Warranty Department" stated I had to provide PROOF in the form of a compression test in order to receive a refund. I paid the Licensed Auto Repair Facility to perform the compression test - IT FAILED MISERABLY (and without reimbursement)! They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT (contracted out to cs## at autopartsemail.biz), NO WARRANTY DEPARTMENT (contracted out to autopartsemail.biz), NO SHIPPING DEPARTMENT (contracted out to shipping at autopartsemail.biz), & after (at least) 23 emails & phone calls sent to EVERYONE listed above as well as multiple entities @remanns.com has FAILED to have a response as to HOW I CAN GET THIS UNUSABLE JUNKYARD ENGINE OUT OF THIS LICENSED AUTO REPAIR FACILITY - REMANNS IS NOT CONTACTING ME AT ALL as to how to GET THIS UNUSABLE JUNK YARD ENGINE BACK TO THEM. The only thing I can state as a positive toward the USED engine I purchased through REMANNS.COM is that I finally got a FULL REFUND of my purchase price (including core charge) for this UNUSABLE JUNKYARD ENGINE, but the PART STILL REMAINS AT THE Licensed Auto Repair Facility without ANY hope of it being removed by REMANNS.COM. REMANNS is also NOT CONTACTING ME as to IF they are EVER GOING TO REIMBURSE ME for the price I HAD TO PAY for having THE COMPRESSION TESTING DONE. Again, THE UNUSABLE JUNKYARD ENGINE REMAINS AT THE LICENSED REPAIR FACILITY, and it is APPARENT THAT I WILL ULTIMATELY HAVE TO PAY FOR THE JUNKYARD ENGINE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LICENSED AUTO REPAIR FACILITY! I clearly see that I AM STUCK WITH THE AFTERMATH OF REMANNS.COM UNSCRUPULOUS SALES PRACTICES. Remanns was informed of my negative review - NOT ONE PEEP - They remain SILENT!

Ordered a (what was advertised as a REMANN motor) Subaru motor on Remann.com, the site SAYS NOTHING about getting a USED engine, paid $2,595, the motor came in USED, and totally rotted, all hoses, exterior plastic parts cracked, the shop would not put motor in my car as it was rotted. Called and they said they would pick up the engine and refund my money. They picked it up and refunded all but $1,138.75 when I called they informed me that it was a restocking fee and shipping, after leaving several messages and never getting a call back, I finally got ahold of someone that told me "these broken parts could have been taken off old motor and switched the motor ran and drove" so they refused to refund the money back. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! When you order what you think is a Remann motor that comes in damaged and looks like it was outside for the past 10 years. Then when you call to try to get it straightened out you get tossed around and then hung up on. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF. WEBSITE IS VERY MISLEADING.... you go to a website to get a reman motor and get a JUNK used motor.

God. It was awful. We bought an engine in January of 2019. Thinking oh, it's ok, because they have a warranty that if anything happens they will replace and pay for labor. Cool. Well...less than 3 weeks after install we notice the engine is just eating oil. Like a quart+ every week. So my husband gives a call to Remanns. They tell him to put a ticket in, but they will ca him. He does. No response. He emails. No response. He calls. No response. No one is telling him what is going on. Talks to some dude bro in sales and that guy gets lippy with my husband about, "not his job" and needs to contact warranty. My husband is like, "NO ONE SAID THAT!!!" So husband calls warranty and they are all like oh yeah, policy updated and we only pay $50 bucks an hour....like I'm sorry what?!?!? Who has a mechanic that works for that little???? So my husband is like I bought in January, and warranty guy is like sorry. To bad. But we can't even help you because we need to know that's it's "really" leaking oil. A shop can tell you that. So my husband takes it to a local guy who does this sort of thing, who said he works with warranty companies. They check the engine, lo and behold! sh**ty engine, eating oil! So they call the warranty guy and he says, 1. Can you do it for less? Like less what dude? Less money, no. We charge $100 an hour and the warranty guy says no, less time? Mechanic is done. You want me to "rush" this so you don't pay as much and you still want to pay crappy? Nope. No thank you. The time's the time. Warranty guy says we'll customer (me and my husband) will have to pay the difference...$50 an hour. We are so mad!!! Like Remanns sells crappy engines. Changes their warranty policy and then expects us to just pay the difference. And we can't even get old engine back because they probably "remanufactured" that one and sold it to some unsuspected Scion owner. So....if you are looking for a Scion tc engine, not from here my friend. They took ours (which was leaking oil from the oil rings and it's only a matter of time before it blows the gasket). Just don't get an engine from here. We're putting out complaint in with the Better Business Bureau.
