Very let down
I used this company months ago because I was desperate to secure a flat and was given no other option, and at first glance it all appeared a promising solution. However, as a young person with no savings and a low income at the time, the only people who helped me in this situation (luckily) was my family, who paid this idiotic company in full. Every other option I could have managed, such as to pay in instalments, was denied me because of poor credit score and low earnings. Yet is that not literally the point of the company, to help people who can’t afford to pay a deposit because of those problems exactly? All this caused me was a lot of tears and further unnecessary stress. It’s only because I was lucky enough to have family who were readily able to help me and step in that I was able to secure my flat, but not everyone may have that option. This company was effectively no help to me at all. This was months ago, but I have been angry and bitter about this since and as I’m now moving on to better places, I feel compelled to finally say something. I felt severely let down and would only recommend this company to my worst enemy.

We were however able to offer you our rent guarantee which means you would be able to secure a property with a professional guarantor in place.
We note that you detailed that the point of RentGuarantor is to help people who can't afford to pay a deposit. RentGuarantor provides a trusted, professional UK rent guarantor for tenants, which opens up a wider choice of rental properties and protects loved ones from financial risk, we do not deal with tenant deposits.

As an independent student finding a house with a guarantor as a requirement was really discouraging until rentguarantor made it possible for me. I get to now apply for houses with my friends without worrying about the guarantor aspect

If the Letting Agent you wished to use does not accept, or is unwilling to accept, professional guarantor services, we can keep your application open for up to 60 days from the date of approval to allow you time to find an alternative property with a Letting Agent who accepts professional guarantor services.
