If you’re a building management company or landlord looking for a system to verify your tenants quickly and easily, look elsewhere because RentProfile does not do that.

As a current tenant redoing referencing, I found it an incredibly difficult and frustrating system to use.
A number of issues I encountered:
1. No option to have previous referencing details that are always the same reuploaded to save time (E.g. Passport, name, date of birth etc.)
2. The app it makes you downloaded because it’s “easier” could not scan my passport or accept an uploaded picture. It also had no option to manually enter passport details as a fallback.
3. Regarding my passport, I shared it to the support team to verify, which they then said they couldn’t and to try the browser. When I did, all the verified details of salary, tenancy history etc. had been wiped and I had to start all over again.
4. My flatmate could not verify their bank account through Open Banking, meaning he also had to contact the support team to verify it manually.

This delayed my new flatmates’ moving in date by a couple of weeks and cost him quite a bit of money in temporary accommodation costs.

Would not recommend as a system for housing associations or Landlords to use to verify new tenants.

I had a great experience — the process was very smooth and easy. Uploading my documents was straightforward, and access was simple. Communication was excellent with quick responses whenever something needed attention. Highly recommended.

The application was easy to use, and the instructions were clear.
However, not all required documents were included within the application, which meant I had to be contacted later to provide additional documentation. It would be more efficient if the application included sections for all necessary items, with the option to skip if not applicable.
Also the process took quite a long time even though I provided all the required documentation and references within a day. Ideally, the process should not take more than a week (unless there are specific delays) when everything has been submitted promptly.

It was really stucked all the time, didn't move to next step untill unless you asked the operators to move it fwd to next step. I really don't like it.

You are a disaster and a waste of time. Please try designing a dashboard to facilitate the different needs of prospective tenants

I will rate rentprofile 5 star plus, perfect and thorough in details, excellent in accuracy and distinction in timing. I choose and recommend rentprofile to people over and over again.
