AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

I had intially bought a chair which came with arms that were damaged. I was told a 12 month warranty is in place so I contacted them for arm replacement.

I was accused of ripping off the arms when they have no proof and then was told they can send me arm replacements by a guy called Aidan Murphy

2ND november I have been waiting for arm replacements and now Aidan Murphy is not answering any of my emails.

I am going to spread the word and even make a reddit page about this website next.

What is the point of 12 month warranty if you don't oblige by it and offer me it then ignore my emails????

I ordered a chair almost 3 weeks ago and although I received a confirmation email of my order, I have not received any other communications about when it will be delivered.

- I have tried to call several times but nobody picks up and I have left my name and number but have not had my calls returned.
- I have sent several emails, again no one has responded.
- I started a conversation using the chat function on their website but after giving my order number and being told they will investigate and respond in 5 minutes, they did not come back to me.
- I even messaged them on LinkedIn but guess what? No reply!

On their website it says "Our customer service team is here 5 days a week for any questions or queries you may have before or after your purchase." - This is A LIE.

Fantastic service, I ordered last week and got the chair by Wednesday.

Chair was in great condition considering it is pre-used.

I purchased a refurbished Senator operator chair from this site and was very disappointed. The wheels were badly worn and full of human or animal hair, which was extremely unhygienic. I do not expect refurbished furniture to look brand new, but at the very least it should be cleaned and fit for use.

I contacted customer service straight away with photos and was promised replacement wheels. After several phone calls and repeated explanations, I kept receiving different answers: that I had to pay extra, that the courier had not collected, or that they would be sent soon. I was also promised email updates, but none ever arrived. Weeks later, nothing has been resolved.

My experience shows that if you receive faulty or unhygienic items, you should not expect a proper replacement or refund. Think carefully before buying here, and be prepared for very poor after-sales service.

Update: After posting my previous review, the seller finally sent replacement wheels. While they were free of hair, they were still rusty and full of dust. I had to call the seller four times and wait over two weeks for this, which made me feel completely frustrated and as if I had been misled. Because at least the wheels are now hair-free, I am adjusting my rating from one star to three stars, but the service and overall experience remain very disappointing.

I ordered a new chair as I work from home. The chair was delivered 'by hand' within a week as there was a delay on Box packaging but Callum called to explain the delay and delivered the chair in person rather than me waiting longer. The chair is so much better than my previous chair that I bought at an online store.

EDIT - sorry I've taken a star off. Now 4 emails and a VERY brief online chat where I was told they would call me as the chat isn't working. Not very hopeful of getting this chair picked up and out of my way. Customer service is great when you actually get to speak to someone, but getting there is a nightmare.

I've got to agree with the positive reviews. I'd been looking for a decent chair and found it, refurbished at an amazing price. The chair was delivered and was exactly as I expected. However, one arm had a small issue. A quick email chat and another was sent out (getting response to online chat was impossible despite it saying they are online). Here is where I think the customer service falls down - they haven't collected the original chair. It's in a huge, very heavy box and taking up space. I've sent two emails with no response. Maybe this review will get the chair picked up before I get rid of it?
I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again - just get your online chat / phone / emails responded to and you'll be perfect! And please pick up the chair!!!!!

I ordered a chair online, then I called office and spoke to Callum who sorted out a delivery for me within a few days. The chair looks literally new. Callum was really helpful and recommended a better chair then the one I ordered. Now after using it I can honestly say its really great. The Senator I-work chair is a quality chair, and the seating cushion on it is amazing. I know it wont let me down for the long 8hr plus daily use. Will definitely be buying future chairs from here at great prices.

Excellent reassuring comms with Callum before purchase. Chair arrived next day Fedex (10 days ago), fully assembled and as good as new with all adjustment mechanisms working perfectly - this chair is £1k+ on the manufacturers (Steelcase) website - so at under £200 this is a no-brainer purchase, very very happy.

Paid more than 300 for a 'refurbished' Herman Miller chair. Had to chase 3 times before it was dispatched 2 weeks after ordering. Chair's already sinking - so gas cylinder has obviously not been replaced. No reply when asked about this obviously.

Ordered refurbished herman miller chair, it came , but noticed the seat pad had not been replaced and is falling apart. this should of been replaced during the reufurbishment which they agreed and said they would send one out. Over 10x more chasing and 2 months later i have still not received the seat pad they promised. Disgraceful customer service.

Ordered a black chair, a grey one was delivered and it pretty bad shape. Stitching coming loose, visible marks and scuffs, which would be fine if it was sold as a used chair, not a refurbished one.

Emailed to ask for the correct one to be delivered immediately, and kept the huge box to send the grey one back in. No response to any emails.

Emailed a different email address that I found online, received an immediate response offering assistance, said they would "check in the warehouse" - I informed them there were 66 in stock on their website. That email address then went quiet and ignored all of my emails.

I think phoned the number on the emails, and a man again said he needed to "check the warehouse" and to text him the details. I sent him screenshots of all of our previous correspondence. And again now, that communication has gone quiet and is not responding to emails, texts or calls.

I presume it's a guy inundated and over his head with customer service etc, however it's a terrible customer experience which means you're not going to get what you order.

Great company, if you have any concerns or questions they are very easily reachable and quick to respond.

Having worked with various suppliers in the past, none have come close to the level of service and quality we received here. The team was incredibly responsive, communication was excellent throughout, and the office furniture itself is fantastic. Highly recommended!

My chair arrived in mint condition, but it just wasn’t the right chair for me. After speaking with Aidan, he gave me a few other options and recommended the Senator i-Work. I decided to go with that one. They arranged for the original chair to be collected and the new one delivered at the same time — super smooth process.

The new chair is great for me, and they even gave me a partial refund of the £70 I had paid extra for the original one. Great service and communication — I highly recommend this company!

Received a broken chair in the post, trying to get a refund is just like the other 1 star reviewer.

Had to get the credit card company involved now.
