We used this company for some of our team to attend a Flat Water Rescue course and it was fantastic. The staff were knowledgable, reassuring, encouraging and welcoming, with such a friendly approach that made the learning interactive and enjoyable.

The environment in which they work cater for all rescue needs and the relaxed atmosphere is very positive for learning and accomplishing the qualifications desired.

If you are considering using this company, we can't recommend them enough. Outstanding service with some banter along the way. We particularly enjoyed the lunches provided (HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU INCLUDE THIS IN YOUR OPTION), and the member of staff who shone above everyone was BILLY - such an asset to the group.

We are really looking forward to our refresher course in a few years time.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. Very professional and well informed. Courses delivered in a relaxed atmosphere with a high level of knowledge. The team are always very accommodating and provide plenty of food and drink during your visit.
Will definitely be returning!

I have just completed the 16 hours outdoor first aid course with Medheight Rescue via Rescue Specialist and to say I was impressed is an understatement.
I have attended a number of first aid courses over the years and I can say without question that this was the absolute best and was as good as the training I had in the military and in some aspects better.
The course ran over 2 days and the team at Medheight Rescue were welcoming as well as knowledgeable.
The facilities were spot-on, the building was clean and tidy as were the toilets and kitchen.
Food and drink were provided and even that was amazing.
Steve was my instructor you could tell within minutes that he is the real deal and has years of hands-on experience and that he does not hide behind textbooks and presentations.
Steve instructed and then allowed me to think for myself whilst putting the theory into practical applications and basically allowing me to get stuck in.
The first aid training equipment was the best I have ever seen and this is the first course I have ever cut clothing and harnesses to access the multiple injuries on a bleeding casualty which added to the realism of each scenario.
I highly recommend Medheight Rescue and Steve, not only will you learn a lot but you will have confidence applying the knowledge learned. I was never be made to feel awkward by asking questions which made me feel at ease and comfortable to just concentrate on learning.
I can honestly say that this is the only first aid course where I actually learned up to date information and improved the applications that I had learned previously and put into practice over my many years in the military, security and outdoor pursuits industry and I can't wait to book another course.

A great time spent updating my tickets and skills with Rescue Specialist. I was really happy to have the time to talk through the issues and get great insight from people who are hands on in the real world.

Great training by instructors with real. World experience . Pitched perfectly to the groups ability, good facilities and v handy location.

An amazing training facility with a wealth of expertise within the training team. I recently sat my high risk confined space and rescue certifications as was extremely impressed with the level of knowledge imparted by Steve and his extremely affable team. Their approach to training via the proof of competency is to industry best practice and ensures you build confidence throughout.

As someone new to this type of industry, I wasn't sure what to expect, especially with a whole weeks worth of training. Steve and the team behind him, who provided the various training modules were engaging, friendly and enthusiastic about their line of work, which goes a long way in helping me reach the same level of enthusiasm! I would recommend this place to anyone and will be booking more sessions with them in the future!

I have been on a lot of courses over the years but the course I did at Rescue Specialist was by far the best course I have been on, it was very knowledgeable and Steve the trainer went through everything we needed to know.
We had a hot cooked lunch which was delicious and lots of refreshments available, will definitely recommend.

Overall I feel that the course I done down at Rescue specialists was great, for someone who’s never climbed a tower before nor used any equipment like so they made it as relaxing and comfortable for me as possible and managed to just crack on and completed my course whilst having great fun completing it too.

The food that was we got given for our lunch all complimentary was absolutely great especially at the moment as it’s really hard to find a place to get some food due to the lockdown.

Overall I had a great experience at RSUK and I would 100% recommend them to others.

Perfect training courses for what I was wanting we had a different training provider before this was round the corner from my house but now have changed to Steve what is a 1 hour 50mins drive but it is worth it. The courses was well organised and very Efficient straight to the point and cover all parts of the course. The Dinner you get with the courses was amazing and plenty to go around and you have the run of the kitchen with unlimited tea and coffee and pop and chocolate bars. In all if you are looking for a training provider that’s will teach you all you need to know and make the class room side of the practical enjoyable this is were you need to be doing your training.

Superb course, great facilities, great tutors, great environment. Level 2 British standard was the course, Steve was a great tutor and went through everything we needed to know thoroughly. Would highly highly recommend. Had fun learnt alot received a ticket and even got provided with a lovely home cooked meal for dinner!!!!

I have just spent an excellent week with Steve at Rescue Specialists! The venue, equipment and training facilities are both excellent in quality and relevance which promote A superb learning experience!

Climb and Tower Rescue Refresh 1day & Medical
Had to arrange last minute Steve sorted it all out very quickly

Course was very good clear instruction good facilities and easy to find and a good lunch provided. I received my cert the same day

Steve managed to get me in very quickly for a Fit to climb medical in Liverpool

I would highly recommend and I will be using them again

I attended Rescue Specialist for 2days. I found all training fantastic as it gave real hands on experience. Something that ive never had in other training scenarios. Steve who ran the course was a very down to earth host who made it easy to learn. He added bits of humour throughout but was serious when the time came. Lunch and parking was provided. The lunch provided was delicious.

I will have further training in the future and will be using Rescue Specialist.

Been on a tower climbing rescue course. Very good course experience. Instructor was very knowledgeable and explained course content very well.
Will be booking again, and the dinner was fantastic.

I attended a first aid at height training course, Steve was very knowledgable and answered any questions I had. I left the classroom feeling very confident in any emergency situation. During the practical lesson it really puts you on the spot, you have to think and act fast whilst attending to the patient. It is one thing learning in the classroom and another getting stuck in with red bloody hands!

Would strongly recommend!
