Do not work with them under any circumstances

Restaurant Depot and their parent company treat people terribly. This stems right from the top with Mark Fleishman. I can tell you this because I deal with them internally.

For those who are interested in a wholesale partnership with them, stay away.

Management and employees are rude

Management and employees are rude, unprofessional and argue with costumers, Manager in the Port Chester location is disrespectful with costumers, you can hear him cursing all the time, even kicking costumers out, if they complain. Good luck reaching headquarters. They will avoid your call. Now following up with consumer complaints.

Overcharged and couldn’t get a credit on my credit card …

I was overcharged by $70 in the store last Monday Albuquerque New Mexico

Store manager Jose told me on four different occasions on calls Throughout the week that he was going to refund my money on my credit card only to hear yesterday that he said he didn’t know how to do it or couldn’t get his system to give me an actual credit card refund I had to actually personally go in the store

Just a little bit inconvenience since I’m now back in Los Angeles

The store is an absolute mess the management, the service, times that you spend 20 minutes or more on hold, I’ve never in my life had a store that couldn’t process a refund

Jose the manager of the store in Albuquerque New Mexico is the location that this occurred not a manager I’d have on my team

I would not recommend the store to anyone

I worked as an Electrical Engineer for L-3 Communication (now L-3 Harris) and own my own business. I’m currently supplying my customers with products from Restaurant Depot and from vendors out of California. I’ve been a customer at Restaurant Depot for 11 plus years and get my supplies because of quality and stock on hand. Mostly the employees there are top notch, friendly, helpful and more. So the main reason I use Restaurant Depot are Employees, stock, quality and ready availability of products.
I understand the supply chain and I’m very disappointed that Restaurant Depot In Salt Lake City now has poor Inventor and Quality and bad shipping from warehouse to Salt Lake City Restaurant Depot. My friend own their business has commented about the same as I have noticed and is now looking elsewhere. I also hear talk in the store about stock and quality but most of them do not have the funds or connections to find product at other places so they use what the can and loose profit because of poor quality and cannot fully satisfy their customers.
I urge the Executive Staff of Restaurant Depot to investigate and correct the supply chain and improve inventory, quality and delivery problems from the warehouse to Salt Lake City and anywhere else where this problem maybe located. If the Executive Staff of Restaurant Depot would like to communicate directly with me, please contact Lisa the Branch Manager and I will provide my contact information to her if requested.

It's sad

It's sad but this is the only supplier that carry my bulk brand of Hot Dogs for my Cart ( Nathan's). At least once a month they are out of stock of 5-1 & 7-1. I don't know if its the person who is doing the ordering or the delivery company they use at the Ohio valley view store but it is horrible. Their monthly flyers will have typos and they won't honor it. On top of that I get home and notice I was over charged for several items. Now I have to use my time to go back to the store to get my money back. I wish all involved could realize that we choose your chain to get our Menu items to our customers. It doesn't look good or feel good when I have to apologize to my customers for not having what they ordered because Restaurant Depot doesn't know how to keep up on their inventory.

Their chicken wings have the wing ends…

Their chicken wings have the wing ends on there that is not for consumption and it is not advertised when buying. They are cut and tossed in for added weight. Maybe five to six minimum each bag. The bones are for some reason easily breakable and sharp ends inside the wings. You eat a wing and the bones are literally already broken. Tough outer skin also. Horrible scam. And paid for bulk which obviously hurts more. Both bags so far. 2 more to go.

I placed an order online to pick up at…

I placed an order online to pick up at this location since they carry the items that I need I usually don’t shop at this location and I will never do again. First most of the order was missing, second this experience took me longer than I picked my own items, third I was overcharged on some items when I addressed the problem they started sending me from one person to another finally the manager came out and without looking at me or trying to adjust the price he told the customer service to take the items that I was overcharged on back and submit a refund. What got me the most here is the manager’s attitude that kept walking away while I was trying to talk to him.

Today (Jan 26) at my nearest RD I…

Today (Jan 26) at my nearest RD I purchased 4 items (normally it will be in double digits ), surprisingly all 4 items (foil pan, rice, tomato sauce , foil ) has like around 1$ more than what is posted at the items bin. In absence of manager , supervisor walked around , confirmed and refunded the difference ($5) . I am shocked to see this in a store like RD. Shoppers , once in a while check your receipts .
