Review of RevGrowth.AI — Full Experience

RevGrowth.AI talks a good game but shows little understanding of how to run a professional agency or take care of clients properly.

I did not want to write this review. However, after repeated issues, I feel it is necessary to share my experience so others can make informed decisions.

From the beginning, I was transparent that expectations were low. We were giving another cold email agency a trial, fully aware that cold outreach is not a fit for every market. I have run campaigns myself and am realistic about the challenges.

What I did not expect was:

Failure to deliver what was promised

Attempts to charge additional fees after miscalculating their own costs

Weeks of poor communication during onboarding

No proactive effort to understand our business or workflow

They launched a campaign late, without asking basic questions, and even tried to book sales calls directly with me — the CEO — despite clear instructions that our sales team would handle leads.

Christian spoke well on the sales call and clearly understands the theory behind cold outreach. However, the consistent issue throughout was a lack of ownership and care for client outcomes.

Early Red Flags:
Receiving a lead list dominated by non-English-speaking countries, showing no understanding of our target market

Campaign launch errors caused by unfamiliarity with their email platform (Email Bison)

Inbox management, positioned as a major benefit, proved disappointing. Replies were inconsistent and no real evidence of inbox management was provided

Failure to validate leads, causing extremely high bounce rates

Within a week, it was clear they lacked operational expertise or did not prioritize client outcomes. Only then did they ask for our demo booking link, despite it being clearly displayed on our website.

Continued Issues:
Christian eventually apologized for the ongoing issues, but problems continued:

Delayed lead replies

Broken links sent to prospects

General inconsistency that harmed brand reputation

Meanwhile, inbox managers with no clear training asked basic questions like "What is your pricing?" and "What is included?" — information clearly available on our site.

The Final Issue — Unexpected Additional Fees:
On March 14th, 2025, RevGrowth.AI requested an additional fee, citing infrastructure costs. Christian wrote:

“It’s a tough situation since we promised 200,000 emails sent but have gone over the expected timeframe due to throttling issues from our email provider, which has put our expenses for this engagement over $5,000. We’d like to propose a tech fee for continuation to cover the base email account fees, which would be $1,200 per month.”

I replied:

“Absolutely not. You can refund me for the emails not sent or complete what was promised.
Your lack of planning and understanding of your expenses is your responsibility.
Do not promise deliverables you cannot fulfill.
Here is the legally binding contract signed prior to services being rendered.”

To be clear, I was not asking for a full refund.
I offered a simple and fair resolution: either fulfill the contracted service or provide a partial refund for the emails not sent.

Rather than addressing the situation professionally, they chose not to respond.

Campaign Performance (for transparency):
Contracted to email 100,000 contacts

Only 80,000 contacts were emailed

They padded email volume by sending extra follow-ups instead of sourcing new contacts

Our team noticed they began sending emails on weekends without notice, likely to close the campaign faster and minimize their own costs, ignoring B2B best practices

In total, 200,000 emails were sent, resulting in only 25 demos booked

I understand that cold outreach is challenging, but the real issue was not performance. It was the repeated operational failures, lack of ownership, and disregard for the client.

Final Summary:
Had RevGrowth.AI made honest mistakes and communicated transparently, this would have been a very different review.

Instead, I experienced poor planning, defensive behavior, disregard for client success, and an attempt to charge additional fees in violation of the original agreement.

If you are considering working with RevGrowth.AI, proceed with caution.
Document everything carefully. Based on my experience, there is a serious lack of operational maturity and client ownership.
