Item arrived smashed. Email to say out of stock here have a refund. Very disappointing when this was a carefully selected gift.

My friends (who the gift was for) think the wine is going to be wonderful especially as they have their family staying with them

The lovely candles I ordered arrived quite quickly and, as usual, I'm really pleased with them

My previous order went missing with Evri when I contacted rick stein customer service they were very helpful and sent a replacement out straight away. Which I received in a couple of days so thank you very much !!

Arrived on time, beautifully presented

Easy to order on the website, plenty of details about the item. Communication after order is also good and packaging thorough, given that items are fragile.

Recipe books arrived quickly, and will make great Christmas presents.

Roast was delicious but a bit cold. Service was variable … had a variety of people serving us and one lady was not very cheerful and quite surly. We had to ask at least twice for someone to pour the wine from the ice bucket which was far away from the table.
Nice younger male waiter and nice touch to bring a birthday plate. Lovely table with sea view.

The plate arrived broken. I have emailed three times about the problem and have received no reply. This complete lack of customer service is completely unacceptable to me

The only thing that let you down was Evril the didn't deliver to the door but left it in the sawmill

Don’t recommend ordering from this company. I ordered a case of wine 2 weeks ago for a party this weekend. It was meant to be delivered by Evri last week and I had a message to say that there was a problem. It was then meant to be delivered earlier this week and cancelled again. I contacted Rick Stein yesterday and they apparently escalated with Evri. I have heard nothing again and rang Rick Stein this am. They will not help and will not refund. They will not take any responsibility for the delivery company that they are using. They said that it is with the delivery company and there’s nothing they can do. They advised that the tracking says that they attempted delivery yesterday but this is a lie. There is no card, no email, no text and no sign of them. Appalling service
