No Show No Service - yet no Refund
Please be cautious when booking with Hitch. Once you make the payment, you are completely dependent on them — and if they fail to provide the service, you should not expect a refund.
On my trip, the driver for the outbound ride never showed up. I waited at the pickup point and kept messaging for updates, but received no response. Because the outbound ride did not happen, I cancelled my return ride that was scheduled two days later.
Despite this, Hitch refused to refund the return booking, citing their policy. In my view, if a service is not delivered, the customer should not be charged. That basic expectation of reliability and accountability was completely missing here.
I’ve stopped using their service and would advise others to be very careful about paying Hitch in advance
