It answers a business's calls, WhatsApp messages and texts 24 hours a day in a natural voice, quotes only the services and prices the business has approved, checks live availability and books the appointment into Google Calendar, Outlook or its own diary during the call, takes restaurant orders and hotel bookings, and puts urgent or sensitive calls through to a person with the context they need. Callers are told by default that they are speaking to an automated assistant. It is built for the businesses that live on their phone: hair and beauty salons, barbers, dental practices, physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics, vets, aesthetics clinics, garages, plumbers, electricians, cleaning companies, restaurants and takeaways, hotels and guesthouses, and private clinics. Each receptionist is set up around one business: its services, prices, opening hours, staff, booking rules and frequently asked questions, from a settings screen rather than a developer. Ringmere is built and run by Peoplely Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16386277) and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZC192829). Customer data is stored in the UK and every sub-processor is named in the privacy policy. Pricing is public: Starter £49 a month with 150 call minutes and a UK phone number included, Growth £99 with two-way WhatsApp and SMS, and Pro £249, each with a 14-day free trial that can be cancelled at any time. Businesses keep their existing number by forwarding it, or take a new UK number at no extra cost. Setup is self-serve and most businesses are answering calls within the hour.
