Goede communicatie en afhandeling

Monteurs kwamen op de afgesproken tijd, waren aardig en vakkundig, hebben de boel weer netjes dichtgemaakt na het probleem verholpen te hebben en de factuur viel precies zo uit als van tevoren gecommuniceerd.

Zeer grondige inspectie uitgevoerd, top

Annes en Carlos waren bij ons vakantiehuis voor een inspectie van het riool na eerder langs te zijn gekomen voor een ontstopping van het toilet. Bleken meerdere zaken niet goed te zijn aan ons riool. Zij hebben het heel goed in kaart gebracht en perfect uitgelegd. Ondanks het feit dat het geen leuke boodschap is om te horen, weet ik nu wel precies waar het probleem zit, nogmaals superbedankt.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service provided two weeks ago by Riool.nl. Below are the issues I encountered:

Initial Visit & Delay (Monday, February 10):

A technician from your company arrived to address a small toilet leakage.
He removed the toilet and stated that the pipelines were too short, requiring an order for new ones.
As a result, we were unable to use the toilet for four days until his return.
Unsuccessful Repair & Abandonment (Friday, February 14):

The technician returned with the new pipelines and reinstalled the toilet.
Upon flushing, a significant amount of water leaked out immediately.
He then informed me that the issue was related to hardware and was beyond his responsibility, suggesting I find another technician.
Urgent Emergency Repair Needed:

On Friday afternoon at 15:00, I had to urgently find another technician for an emergency installation.
The new technician quickly identified that the previous installation was done incorrectly, specifically at the wrong direction/angle.
He resolved the issue, confirming that the initial technician’s work was improper.
This entire process caused unnecessary delays, inconvenience, and additional expenses.

The customer service replied as
"We could not have solved your problem with the toilet. This a plumbing problem that a plumber needs to solve. This is also what our mechanic said.

The flush pipe in the wall of the wall-hung toilet has been measured inadequately. That is the reason why it kept leaking. "

But my argument is

Incomplete Diagnosis & Responsibility

The issue was initially presented as a pipeline length problem, which the Riool technician attempted to fix. However, after reinstalling the toilet, the leakage worsened. This suggests that either the initial assessment was incomplete or the installation was done incorrectly.
If the problem was purely a plumbing issue from the beginning, why was this not identified during the first visit? The technician only acknowledged this after an unsuccessful installation attempt.

Incorrect Installation by Your Technician

The second technician I hired confirmed that the installation was done at the wrong angle/direction, causing the leakage. This indicates that the issue was not solely related to the flush pipe measurement but also improper handling by your technician.
If your technician was not responsible for plumbing issues, he should not have attempted the repair in the first place, as doing so incorrectly worsened the situation.
Lack of Clear Communication & Accountability

At no point during the first visit was I informed that your company does not handle plumbing issues. Instead, your technician removed the toilet and promised to return with new parts, leading me to believe the issue would be fully resolved.
It was only after an unsuccessful installation on Friday that I was told to look for another technician. This delay caused significant inconvenience, as I had to find an emergency repair service late in the afternoon.

Expectation of Proper Service

I relied on your company's expertise to diagnose and resolve the problem. If the issue was beyond your scope, I should have been informed immediately, rather than being left with a non-functional toilet for several days.
Instead of properly assessing the situation at the start, your technician attempted a repair, failed, and then abandoned the job, leaving me to deal with the consequences.

Then I didn't get response from them or an apology.

1 ster is nog teveel voor dit bedrijf.
Dit “bedrijf” mag echt wat aan z’n communicatie skills doen.
Je word door meneer letterlijk uitgelachen wanneer je van 12:00 - 16:00 zit te wachten, om vervolgens om
16:30 te horen dat de afspraak niet door kan gaan, nadat je zelf erna toe moest bellen. Zwaaaaaar onprofessioneel!

Wees geduldig en raak niet gestrest

Gisteren gebeld met Barthen riool.nl. Bijna 21 minuten met filiaal Alphen aan den Rijn aan de telefoon gezeten om de situatie te bespreken, hemelwaterafvoer dakkapel loopt niet door. Meneer zag dat mijn hwa niet goed aangesloten is en wilde een afspraak plannen om de dakkapel schoon te vegen. Dat wilde ik niet, de dakkapel is schoon, de hwa moet leegemaakt worden en eventueel aangepast. Dat was een lastig punt, want de jongens mogen niet zomaar de dakkapel op. Bijzonder, want ze mogen wel een dakgoot op 4,5 meter hoog schoonmaken op een ladder. Ik zou teruggebeld worden, na collegiaal overleg. Is niet gebeurd.
Dit was de 7de rioolspecialist die ik aan de telefoon had voor dit probleem... Druk, geen tijd, ik bel terug, of alleen met meerwerk (dakkapel schoonmaken - is pas gedaan-) komen we langs.
Vanmorgen bel ik terug, krijg ik een receptioniste aan de telefoon, moet ik weer mijn verhaal doen en al mijn persoonsgegevens en een foto doorgeven. Ik geef aan dat ik dat gisteren ook al gedaan had, receptioniste vond mij onaangenaam om mee te spreken, zei dat ze me alleen maar probeerde te helpen en vervolgens wordt door haar de verbinding verbroken, nadat ze me met een snauw 'gedag' gezegd had.
Wat mij betreft heeft deze dame het verkeerde vak gekozen en had ze gewoon de boodschap van terugbellen moeten aannemen en niet proberen een oplossing te zoeken voor iets waar ze geen verstand van heeft en wat al uitgebreid besproken was.
Dan maar geen Barthen riool.nl, het is niet anders.

Wat ging er mis

Wat ging er mis? Je kan beter vragen wat ging er niet mis. Afspraken maken en een offerte dat verliep al moeizaam. Uiteindelijk een afspraak gepland 2 maanden vooruit en komen ze nog niet opdagen met de juiste middelen voor de klus. En ze wisten van tevoren dat het een lastige klus was en waren wezen kijken wat er moest gebeuren. 2 dagen later is er eindelijk schot in de zaak. Maar moet je wel boos worden voordat het gaat zoals het hoort. Om je vervolgens weer 2 weken te willen laten wachten. Want ze hadden geen tijd meer in de planning, die ze zelf niet goed gepland hadden. Dat terwijl het hoofdriool zo lek is als een mandje. Wat zij ook hebben kunnen zien 2 dagen terug! Schandalig!!! Zou dit bedrijf nooit ergens aanraden!
