I had such a great experience in the month I spent here. I learnt so much from the teachers and I genuinely feel so much more confident in my yoga practice now. All the staff were really helpful and welcoming and the accommodation was very nice. My only feedback would be the organisation. On occasions there would be confusion regarding timetabling or excursions due to unclear or lack of communication. And as a vegan I was assured on arrival that there would be no milk or milk products in any of the food, but on 3 occasions I was informed after I had already eaten the meal that there was ghee used to cook it. Which was slightly upsetting. Other than that the food was very good. If you are looking into getting your yoga teacher training I would definitely recommend getting it here 😊

I chose Rishikesh Yoga Ashram for my 200H YTT and would 100% do it again. It was exactly as authentic as I was hoping it would be, unlike some other schools that are more on the commercial side.

The highlights were definitely our knowledgeable teachers and the extensive curriculum, which covered asana classes (Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin), as well as pranayama, philosophy, anatomy, ayurveda, and meditation. Now I truly feel like I left with a well-rounded idea of what it actually means to be a yogi.

All the premises were very well maintained, and the location of the ashram itself was very convenient too. It is within walking distance of shops, cafés, pharmacies and temples, yet it's still very peaceful, as it stands on a hill surrounded by rainforest.

The staff was incredibly accommodating - from cooking nourishing meals to planning group trips and helping us get around the city, they did everything they could to make us feel safe and taken care of.

Overall, I could not have imagined having a better experience. If you are looking for an authentic and unforgettable YTT course, Rishikesh Yoga Ashram is a great place to do so. ꩜

Great experience, definitely want to return. I'm from Alabama in the US and I felt very much at home and welcome in the ashram. The teachers are very knowledgable and kind. The food is authentic and tastes very good! Already planning to come back for my 500 hour certificate!
