I am a new Roaman's customer, after the place I used to shop at closed. Where to begin? The sizing is all over the place. I bought a bathing suit that goes down to my knees. I bought a top that is so large, I am swimming in it (and yes, I used their sizing chart/instructions before purchasing). Shipping is very expensive, which makes me hesitant to order in the first place. And returns? They are a joke. I am still waiting to be credited for a return I did (UPS) almost 3 weeks ago. No email confirmation, no updates, nothing. You are given two choices when you return - you can get refunded to your original account (but may cost $$) or you can get a gift card. You are given two choices on how to return. You can return to a "Happy Place", and you may be tempted to do that, because to just box up your return and print out a label costs you $10.99. In my case, that was more than 50% of what I paid for the item in the first place. Find somewhere else to get your clothing/shoes, etc.

They must have all DEI hires or their computers never work properly. Every time I call it is 25 minutes plus and then after waiting forever getting disconnected. Not long ago I had yet another problem and asked for a manager. They couldn’t connect me with the manager and said a manager would call me back in 24-48 hours. Nope never happened. I ordered a sweater that was needed this weekend and still wasn’t here. It was way passed the time for delivery. I called, 30 minutes total this time on phone. Finally she told me my order was canceled and she couldn’t reorder because it is now out of stock. It was ordered on 7th and cancelled on the 8th. Disconnected again! Sorry but these people are just plain rude and stupid!!!! Always a problem. I’ve been ordering from them for years and the past year it’s horrible! And last their clothes have cheapened in the last few years!!!!
Over charged with no explanation.
I ordered a jacket from Roaman's online and approved a PayPal payment of $57.59. My PayPal account was then charged $72.57! I've reached out to Roaman's customer service twice via e-mail, with absolutely no response. I'd avoid this vendor if I were you.
Terrible customer service, poor pricing
Since discount stores closed, I use Roamans for genuinely plus-sized clothing. Their prices are 4 times what I used to pay at the discount store, and shipping and return fees are terrible, but I ordered 4 pairs of slacks when there was a sale plus a code for free shipping. I received 3 of the four items, and sent a request for a replacement - FOUR times. I believe the responses are automated, because I kept being told it needed to be reviewed, etc. I finally was told to file a claim through "Route," since I purchased route protection. The email for Route no longer works, and the form wouldn't accept my perfectly valid email address and order number. Their prices, customer service, and return policies are absolutely terrible. 0 stars
What a scam
What a scam. When you try to order, they run your card so that it flags as fraud with the card company. Once you clear that up, Roamans retains it as a rejected card number. Then when you call customer service, you have to re-do your entire order, and they run your card, tell you it's rejected, and try to get you to apply for and use a Roamans credit card. Happened 12 years ago and again today. Never again. Scammy, low integrity company.

84-year-old Mother Unknowingly Signed Up for Monthly Membership
Roamans enrolled my 84-year-old mother in a monthly membership costing $18 without her clear understanding. She is hard of hearing, which is immediately apparent to anyone who speaks with her on the phone. During a phone order, she was unknowingly signed up for this program. Selling a recurring service to an elderly person who cannot clearly hear or fully understand what is being offered is unethical. Imagine if this were your own mother. For this reason, I do not recommend doing business with Roamans.

I would give them no stars if possible. I ordered a pair of women’s boots, I was invoiced for said boots and sent a god awful purple jacket in 4X. The invoice for the boots was in the package, so picking/shipping clearly messed up. I have now spoken with two customer service representatives to try to get a refund, but they will not issue money until I send the coat back. I will gladly ship the coat back, but I find it shoddy business to keep the money that I paid for the boots I never received until I fix THEIR mistake. I am waiting on a supervisor to call me back…which was supposed to be done 3 days ago. We’ll see if one does after I called again today. With all my heart, I do not recommend this company, nor will I ever do business with them again.

Poor Customer Service
I ordered slacks and tops from one of Roamans catalogs. When I received the garments, the slacks were too large. I proceeded to fill out the forms in the package to request an exchange. The information in their packaging was confusing regarding an exchange. Therefore I called customer service, the individual proceeded to handle the exchange on his end. He emailed the necessary information for me to return the garments. I filled out the necessary exchange forms and took the package to UPS per the instructions from customer service. I received an email stating my card had been credited. The amount was less than I should have received. I contacted customer service regarding the error and was told, my items were refunded minus the shipping fee. I explained I did not request a REFUND, but an EXCHANGE. If you reorder you are charged another shipping fee. According to their return policy, exchanges don't incur a shipping fee. The paperwork I sent was detailed regarding an EXCHANGE. I belive this is poor business practice.
I have ordered a few times from Roamans in the past and I have noticed the quality of the clothing is poor, the fit is improper, the items look nothing like the catalog.
Roaman's Package Loss Scam
Roaman's package loss insurance is a scam. The insurance that I purchased at the time of order claims to cover any loss. My package was stolen and I submitted the affidavit and police report they requested along with pictures and video of the theft. Due to inactivity on their part I was forced to email proof several times. I was finally directed to a bogus insurance website, which after several tries, claimed that my email and order number were invalid. Do not buy anything from them or from their parent company Full Beauty Brands.
Roaman's website has deceptive pricing
Roaman's website has deceptive pricing. The page showing the item, colors, sizes, etc., show one price. However, when I looked at the item when placing it in my "bag" I discovered they tacked on an additional $10.00. This was before any of their so-called discounts were applied, of which you are actually only allowed to use ONE of the offers. This didn't occur with just one item. I attempted to order a pair of jeans and a robe, and both times the price in the "shopping bag" was over $6.00 to $10.00 respectively. I spoke with a pleasant person in their customer service department. She had no explanation, but didn't seem surprised. She suggested that I order directly from a catalog, and offered to send one to me. I wonder how many customers don't notice that they are being ripped off. These companies should be investigated for fraud and/or bait and switch practices.
Horrible
They send their rejects and attach labels over others and screw the customers. I didn't get what I ordered, they wouldn't ship it faster to make it right. They don't care. I sent pictures and still didn't do anything.

I have been a customer for over 20 years, and back then your products where very good and true to what I ordered. But the last time I ordered from you which was last year, they where extremely cheaply made, where are you getting your products made at China??? and no mater where I order from if it is made in China it is a rag Will never waste my money or time again
Roaman's refused to request package be re-routed
I ordered an outfit for a wedding. I changed the shipping address but apparently did not notice the change didn't save. When I checked the tracking I saw the item had been shipped but had been sent to a previous address in another state. I contacted Roaman's who directed me to FedEx. FedEx indicated the package could be re-routed by the shipper, so I recontacted Roaman's. After waiting almost an hour for a supervisor, I wound up calling back and managed to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor informed me that FedEx would not re-route the package even if Roaman's requested it. This is patently false - I have seen both UPS and FedEx re-route packages prior to delivery for other people I know. This package is still en route to my old address as I write this review. As I have no idea who is living in my old house I have no recourse but to hope they return it so I can be credited. Otherwise I am out $150.00, short a wedding outfit, and out whatever additional money I have to pay for an additional outfit. It won't be from Roaman's.

I have bought basics from Roamsns and would continue to, but the shipping and handling costs are outrageous. They have lost me until that price is more reasonable.
Deceptive Offer
If it were possible, I would give them '0'. They sent me a coupon for 40% off for my birthday. However, when I tried to place an order, the coupon code kept saying that it had expired. I called customer service, and was told that they were having issues with the system and to try later. I waited until the next day, and it continued to say that the coupon code had expired. On the invite, it stated that the coupon code would expire on the last day of my birthday month, which is September. I tried placing the order on the 25th and 26th of September. Then the representative stated that the item I tried to place the order for was already on sale. But when I tried placing the order on the 25th, the price was $289.99, and I was supposed to get 40% off. The sale price changed to $216.99, but it wasn't that price when I originally tried placing the order.
Buyer Beware
I ordered 3 items on one day. I received the items, one in the wrong color. Then the extra orders kept coming. That's right - extra. I did not order these. I received 4 orders over a few days of the same items I got in the first order, all with the one item in wrong color. Unbelievable! I sent all items back keeping only one from my first order. One of the 3 was too large and another is still on back order. I'm told my refund is "in process." Since my one item is on backorder, this means 5 items are on back order! In addition to all that, I find the website very strange and unfriendly. Customer Service is not helpful either, except for an apology. When I asked to speak to someone in charge, they gave me a different customer support number. I called, chose an option, and got a busy signal. I have no faith in this company. I will NEVER order from them again. I should have checked Trustpilot first!
The only things I buy at Roaman's are…bras and panties
The only things I buy at Roaman's are bras and panties. The women garments are too boring, matronly, frumpy and it appears they cater primarily to retired seniors. The shoes and swimwear are as equally dissapointing, all look obsolete and lack a contemporary style.
