Ngima is a great guide, we did Mardi Himal with my family at the end of February (4 days / 3 nights). He was able to organize everything and manage the route very well despite the difficult weather! Someone you can trust 100%!!

Where do I begin? Ngima and crew are top notch this year is trek #5 and we are as excited as ever! The team has a wealth of knowledge and extremely helpful from questions about traveling to Nepal and helping with accommodations and everything else I could possibly ask for from A to Z. Experiences like these are what it is about and when in doubt go!!!!

Having spent a full week trekking with Ngima from Roar Himalaya Adventure, I cannot recommend him and his company enough for those considering a visit to Nepal. From the very outset he was extremely friendly and professional, and willing to plan entirely around what I wanted from this unique experience. Ngima's deep knowledge of the ranges provide the means for you to go shorten or extend your trek when you want to, and his relationships with guest-house owners mean you experience the trek not as a foreigner, but a local. He unknowingly provided an insight into these people's lives, and was just as curious to learn about my own, from the other side of the world. The best aspect however is just how much fun I had. It was just the two of us, sharing rooms and being with just one another for a week straight, but we were constantly having a laugh and simply enjoying each other's company. With this, I know I will venture back to Nepal one day, and will immediately message Ngima not just to help organise a new trek, but to catch up with an old friend. Thank you brother, it is an experience I will never forget.

I trust Ngima and the crew at Roar Himalaya with my life! After over a decade away from Nepal, i returned and went on the most fun trip of my life with him and the crew. Keeping in mind that we were “just” doing a trek to Everest Base Camp, they were able to accommodate our bicycle, drone video and photography (and extra LO) and even get water from the South Col down to us. That’s before we flew one of our foriegn crew out when he contracted a cold. Those are extras few guests are going to show up needing and they not only made it all happen comfortably-they do it with grace and professionalism. So proud to know those guys and will be back soon as I can find a few weeks!

It was my third trek in Himalaya and the first with Roar Himalaya and Ngima Sherpa. This time the Manaslu Circuit. I can only say that I wholeheartly recommend Roar Himalaya - they are experienced, efficient, friendly, just simply the best :-)
And as soon as I finished this trek, I've started to plan the next one (with them, of course).

Pilgrimage Tour Report Coordinated by Ngima
This report summarizes the wonderful experiences we had during our pilgrimage tour, expertly organized by Roar Himalaya Adventure Pvt. Ltd. under the guidance of Ngima Nuri Sherpa. We are immensely grateful for their outstanding services and the unforgettable memories they helped create.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
On January 28th, we arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu via Tashi Airlines. We were warmly welcomed by Ngima Nuri Sherpa, who presented us with traditional Tashi khadar. Our accommodation for the tour was provided at the luxurious Hotel Tranquil, which exceeded our expectations. We spent the day visiting religious sites, the Buddha Park, and the remarkable Swayambhunath stupa. The day ended with a delightful dinner at our tour guide's residence.

Day 2: Journey to Helasi
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we embarked on an eight-hour drive from Kathmandu and reached Helasi on January 29th. We explored the Manjushree Cave and other sacred sites before settling in at the comfortable Hotel Halesi Village.

Day 3: Exploration of Sacred Sites
On January 30th, we set off early in the morning to visit the Ngagyur Nyingma Maratika Chimey Takten Choling monastery, Halesi-Maraktika Caves (Halesi Mahadev Cave), Basaha Cave, One hundred thousand Dakini Cave, and various other significant locations. At 4:30 pm, we reached Temal Yarinag, Dubphug Tongsum Kundag, and Gelung Phug. Our accommodation for the night was arranged at Hotel Swornim Namobuddha Resort.

Day 4: Visiting Narayani
On January 31st, we explored the Tashi Yangtse Monastery (Namo Buddha Monastery), Namobuddha Stupa, and the place where Lord Buddha, in one of his previous lives, offered his body to a starving tigress and her cubs. Afterward, we made our way to Narayani, visited Chumeg Jangchu Pheb lam, Gururimpoce's drupchu, and Guru ku rangzhin. We arrived at Hotel Jamghat, Bharatpur, which provided us with five-star hospitality.

Day 5: Arrival in Lumbini
On February 1st, we embarked on our fifth day of the tour, reaching Lumbini by 3:00 pm. We checked into the Lumbini Garden Lodge and visited various Buddhist temples representing different countries, including Myanmar, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Japanese, and the birthplace of Lord Buddha in Lumbini.

Day 6: Visit to Kapilavastu
On February 2nd, after breakfast, we traveled to Kapilavastu, the childhood home of Gautama Buddha. We explored the ruins of the ancient Capital of the Shakyas and visited Kudan Stupa, Gotihawa Achok Pillar, and Niglihawa Ashoka Pillar. In the evening, we stayed at Namaste Hotel and Guest House in Chitwan.

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu
On February 3rd, we returned to Kathmandu from Chitwan. We visited Pharping Monastry, Asura Cave (Yanglesho), the temple of Dakshinkali, and Kudung of His Holiness Kyabje Jadrel Rimpoche. Later, we explored Boudhanath stupa, Muktinath Temple, and Budhanikantha statue. Our accommodation at the highly regarded "Nirvana Boutique-Hotel" provided a wonderful experience. We were treated to a special Korean dinner, generously sponsored by our tour guide and his relative.

Day 8: Last Day and Departure
On February 4th, we visited the Talking Tara Statue and spent the day shopping before preparing to return to our home country. In the evening, we enjoyed a special local dinner, sponsored by our tour guide and their family, at their residence.

Farewell and Appreciation
On February 5th, after having breakfast at the Nirvana Boutique-Hotel, we bid farewell to our tour guide and their family as they lovingly saw us off at the airport, presenting us with Tashi khadar.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ngima Nuri Sherpa, their siblings, father, Aunt Ambika Pun and driver, for providing us with exceptional care throughout the tour. Their warmth, generosity, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. My parents also had the opportunity to experience the life of high-standard living and modern technology, thanks to your efforts. We will cherish these memories forever and look forward to meeting you again. We wholeheartedly recommend Roar Himalaya Adventure Pvt. Ltd. to future tourists, as they will undoubtedly have an exceptionally fortunate and fulfilling experience exploring Nepal.

We had the most accommodating, efficient and robust team with Ngima, who co-owns the company with Pasang, personally leading the expedition. We went to EBC to collect glacier ice from Everest as part of a campaign to raise awareness on the receding glaciers due to climate change. Ngima ensured every need was taken care of. At last minute’s notice, he even got us Lhakpa Nuru Sherpa, a 22-time Everest climber, to collect glacier from Everest for the campaign. This was KEY for us!
The team/porters would be there whenever we needed to take out pieces of film equipment or clothing from the luggage that we suddenly needed or forgot to keep aside, which is otherwise quite cumbersome because it’s usually packed until the destination. Dendi ensured every need was taken care of and especially for my father who is 72 years old.
In Kathmandu, Ngima invited us to his home which was a beautiful personal gesture. We felt more like family than clients. Over the course of the expedition, we’ve bonded and become brothers. I have no doubt in his ability to manage and cater to the clients needs as a company but the personal touches make it a wholesome experience. I highly recommend his company to anyone who’s interested to visit Nepal. In fact, I’ll be returning for a few projects and will be definitely using his efficient and reliable team and the wonderful service they provide.

Ngima and his team are the best of the best. If you plan to make a trip to Nepal look no further than Roar Himalaya Adventure. We did an EBC trek, following the original route of Edmond Hillary. Ngima was extremely knowledgeable of our route and made sure our ever need was met along the way. I experience a chest cold while in Gorak Shep. Ngima sprang right into action and made sure I was safe and got healthy as quickly as possible. I am endlessly thankful for Roar Himalaya Adventure and will recommend them to anyone traveling to Nepal.

We contacted Ngima and he set us up with Dendi Sherpa. Dendi was great and energetic. He adapted to what we wanted to do. They made the reservations, transportation and permits so easy. He would help us find a fair price wherever we went. Dendi was a great guide and I would highly recommend either him or Ngima for your next trip.

I met Ngima eight years ago in Gokyo but this was the first time I hired him as a guide. We recently did the Manaslu Circuit in late February and early March. It was early in the season so most of the lodges were closed. Ngima was able to arrange the trip and permits on short notice. He has down the route many times and knows the local people and environment well. There was some snow and ice high up on the pass crossing and he knows how to navigate it. Everything went smoothly and I can recommend his company for trekking in Nepal.

We had a wonderful trekking experience with Tenzing Sherpa around the Manaslu circuit. He is very friendly and experienced. He speaks excellent English and French. He also takes great pictures.

I travelled alone to Nepal with Ngima few last year. He is kind, so reliable and makes one feel at home, very safe and protected. I explored, learnt and experienced so much. He planned the trip according to my comfortability. His service for the clients is just like he do for his family, i could ask none other than him. Ngima, the founder of Roar Himalaya, is the most knowledgeable, exciting, kind, and capable outdoors guide I have ever worked with. I arrived in Nepal with no first hand knowledge of the region, and Ngima gave me confidence that I was having an authentic, thorough experience of one of the most beautiful places on earth.
