Robinhood Legend has been extremely frustrating for options trading. The platform’s performance issues, especially the slow loading times and latency problems, have had a serious impact on my trading experience. There were multiple occasions where widgets failed to load properly, preventing me from accessing important information quickly enough to make decisions. Because of these delays, I missed potential trades and, in some cases, I was unable to exit positions when I needed to.

For a trading platform, speed and reliability are essential, especially when dealing with options where every second can make a significant difference. The constant lag and technical problems created situations where I suffered losses that I believe could have been avoided if the platform had functioned properly.

After discussing the situation with my pops, I decided to take legal action. I filed a claim with the help of lawyers from Vy,tue who handled the matter professionally and helped me present my case.

My experience has shown me how important it is for trading platforms to maintain reliable systems and provide proper support when technical failures affect customers’ investments. I hope Robinhood takes these issues seriously and improves the stability of its platform so other traders do not experience similar problems.

Cash ISA was transferred by AJ Bell 10 days ago. You have lost my money, as it’s not showing on my account. No customer support, no info. Is this legal? Should I contact the FCA?

Robinhood is the worst platform to trade on they support scam companies who trade their shares on their platform. I lost so much money on there and after I was scammed the shares were further diluted

I transferred my Stocks and Shares ISA away from Robinhood UK to another provider earlier this year. What followed was one of the most frustrating and costly experiences I have had with any financial services firm.

The transfer was not completed within the legally required 30-day window. At no point did Robinhood UK proactively contact me to advise that a compliance check was blocking the transfer. No email. No in-app notification. Nothing. I only discovered the issue by chasing them myself — repeatedly.

When I did make contact, support cases were opened and closed multiple times without resolution. I had to chase every single update myself. When Robinhood UK eventually cancelled my transfer entirely, they did not inform me, and they did not inform the receiving firm either. I was left to figure this out on my own and had to start the entire process again from scratch.

The financial impact is very real. Every day this transfer remained incomplete was money I was losing — money I could not recover because the investment I intended to purchase is not even available on Robinhood UK's platform, which cater exclusively to US stocks.

I raised a formal complaint and Robinhood UK declined to uphold it, citing their 30-day policy — as though hiding behind a maximum timeframe absolves them of any obligation to communicate, to act, or to treat customers fairly. It does not.

I have now referred this matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Robinhood UK is a new entrant to the UK market and it shows. The systems, controls, and customer communication channels required to responsibly manage ISA products simply do not appear to be in place. If you are considering transferring a significant sum, I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere. The cost of their incompetence will fall on you, not them — unless you fight for it.

Nightmare trying to fund the account. I can transfer money to my other ISA's instantly using Faster Payments, but Robinhood don't give you any choice.

Cheapest way to trade without huge fees

Works perfectly fine, can't complain!

Absolute not recommended.
If you have another option, other app just stay there.
I asked them at least 3 times to remove my registration but they are checking blablabla.
On the end they closed the chat.
They even could not tell me properly what have caused the issue, why my application been rejected.
'maybe the vpn, maybe the utility bill ... Maybe both' Maybe ...

If I can give zero stars I would. Worst trading app I have used and pathetic company and customer service. Misinformed and misguided me regarding tax lot sale in the UK. Confirmed that it is possible and performed manual adjustments, only to later comeback and tell me oops we made a mistake and tax lot sale is not available for UK customer and reversed my position for me to suffer huge losses. They upheld my complaint but did nothing to compensate me for my loss due to their misguidance. I use IG and Trading 212 as well, but never faced any issue whatsoever. I intend to flag them off to the FCA. I raised the matter to Ombudsman but honestly Ombudsman is a joke with an incompetent investigator who till date has not understood the issue( been almost a year tho).

Really good app now that it has an isa. Needs some ETFS, SIPP and will be the best app going.

Worst spread management and Option trading platform

Is good for investing and also updating on newsletters and I think I would also be able on app to create the pie list and automatically invest for long time that will be great

The future. Robinhood is most customer facing investment platform out there.

BE CAREFUL before you sign up with them... Very concerning experience with Bitstamp by Robinhood

I’ve been fully verified since 2022, but since 2025 I’ve had repeated issues withdrawing my funds. Despite providing all requested documents, my account is still restricted with no clear timeline.

Support is slow and gives generic, inconsistent responses.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using this platform.

Get your Money Out before its too late

The ROBINHOOD APP is easy to use and works well and i would recommend to anyone looking for a way to start investing in stocks and shares..

My account was restricted without any explanation. For over two weeks now, I haven’t been able to trade, although all my positions are still visible in the portfolio. Customer support provided vague responses, requesting documents I had already submitted, but the issue remains unresolved. Complete disregard for my concerns. Very disappointed with the service.

Great easy to use and love the referral scheme rewards

Awful company. Liquidated £60k positions after giving me a date to meet a margin call and before that date then completely ignored me and didn’t provide me after weeks of asking repeatedly the email to their legal team. Their own staff even resonated with me and understood where I was coming from. They seem to think that FOS’ 8 week timeline is the only route that’s applicable meaning they’re blocking my right to pursue legal court action.

I really did my homework on this one. It’s definitely the cheapest platform on the market. Impressed with the fx fees and cash back too. Makes a nice change!
