I would strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a Porsche from RPM Technik to exercise extreme caution.

One of the main reasons I purchased my Porsche from RPM Technik was because I was assured that it came with a valid Porsche Approved Warranty. This wasn’t just a verbal assurance—it was stated on the invoice of sale.

After purchasing the vehicle, I contacted Porsche UK to verify the warranty, only to be informed that it was null and void. I was astonished. I had bought the car in good faith, relying on the information provided by RPM Technik, only to discover that the Porsche Approved Warranty I had been sold the vehicle with was not valid.

To rectify the situation, I have been forced to pay over £400 for Porsche’s mandatory 111-point inspection at Porsche Centre Leeds before I could even apply for a new Porsche Approved Warranty.

The inspection uncovered further issues that should never have been present on a vehicle sold as being eligible for a Porsche Approved Warranty, including eight missing exhaust bolts and a battery that required replacement. This has resulted in further unnecessary expense and inconvenience.

I have documentary evidence to support every aspect of this review, including:

* The sales invoice stating the vehicle had a Porsche Approved Warranty.
* Correspondence from Porsche UK confirming that the warranty was in fact null and void.
* The official 111-point inspection report from Porsche Centre Leeds detailing the defects found.

What has disappointed me almost as much as the issues themselves is RPM Technik’s attitude afterwards. Rather than accepting responsibility and resolving the matter professionally, I found them unresponsive and unwilling to take ownership of the situation.

When buying a prestige vehicle, trust is paramount. I expected honesty, transparency and accuracy from a specialist Porsche dealer. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend RPM Technik. I would advise any prospective buyer to independently verify every claim made about a vehicle—particularly any statements regarding a Porsche Approved Warranty—before completing a purchase.

This experience has cost me significant time, money and confidence in a company that markets itself as a Porsche specialist.

This version is forceful while remaining focused on facts that you say you can substantiate. If you proceed with legal action or a complaint to the Motor Ombudsman or Trading Standards, keeping the review factual and evidence-based will also put you in the strongest position.

I cannot praise them highly enough. Very professional and thorough evaluation of the car I was looking to sell to them, with a really fair set of options and outcome. Excellent communication, knowledgeable team.
From what I experienced in the selling process I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them in the future

Highly recommended. The customer service and communication were excellent throughout the entire process.
I worked with Ozzy and Greig, who first helped me get into a GT4 that I owned and thoroughly enjoyed for around a year. When I decided it was time to upgrade, they made the transition seamless by helping me sell the GT4 and find the perfect GT4RS.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were incredibly helpful and professional during both the buying and selling processes. The workshop is truly state of the art, and there's a fantastic community of enthusiasts as well as a great team of people working there.
I'll definitely be returning for all my Porsche needs in the future. Thanks again to everyone involved!

MY Cayman 718 was

Nice people and great stock, but I was disappointed with how the situation around a car I went to see was handled. I drove 40 minutes to view a car that was publicly listed for sale and called ahead on my way to let them know I was coming. When I arrived, I was shown the car and was interested in purchasing it. However, while I was there, the salesperson called another customer who then placed a deposit on the car, and it was sold to them without me being given the opportunity to leave a deposit or purchase the car myself.

I understand businesses have their own policies and someone may have had prior interest, but from a customer point of view, after travelling 40 minutes and being physically in the showroom ready to buy, it would have been fair to at least offer me the chance to place a deposit or have first refusal at that point.

That said, the staff were polite and helpful, and they do have very good stock. This was just my experience and feedback on how the situation was handled.

Bought my 981 Cayman GTS, the car was fantastic and perfectly how it was described.

Amazing customer service by Alex, very informative and knowledgeable.
A big thanks to Ozzy too for handing over the keys and a smooth handover process!

I had some issues and inconveniences with RPM that I never had with my OPC. Maybe I was just unlucky hence my "neutral" rating.

Once again RPM Technik have provided me with excellent service with respect to my 997.2. Much better than my local OPC, wish I’d used them earlier. Most recently their resident detailer Mark did a fantastic job on my front spoiler /rear bumper bringing them up to showroom condition without resorting to a re-spray. Their prices are reasonable and there’s even a great cafe on the trading estate !

I took my car to RPM after Porsche themselves could not find the issue. They were able to back to back road test my car with another car of the same specification. They could not have done more.

Nice bunch of people, some amazing cars in stock. Ozzy is sales was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend

RPM HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
RPM told me on 2 occasions that they had fixed the overheating problem on my 911C4S
They hadn’t…..after 12 weeks in their garage,
over 4 visits, they simply couldn’t fix my car. But it was never their fault! Most times I booked it in I had to phone them after 2/3 weeks to ask what progress. They’re hopeless at communication and simply defensive in their attitude. When I finally got my car back today I told the operative that brought the car to the front how unhappy I was with their service…….as he walked away he was quite insulting and intimidating. If RPM Technic feel defamed by any of this then I suggest they sue me.
RPM are incompetent and incapable of any reasonable level of expertise in my opinion
