We were a family of 3, with a 3 year old & moving out of Clapham to Wandsworth. We looked at a range of removal services and found the disparity between pricing and actual services provided very vague.

RSL Man & Van came highly recommended from our neighbour who found them to be a great blend of professionalism & affordability. After using them for our move, I would echo the same. George & Samat arrived on Tuesday and diligently went through our belongings, packing them away and marking which room each box came from.

George, Sardor, & Jamshed came on Wednesday. They started at 11 to sensibly avoid being stuck in any traffic, before loading the van with our belongings. All three of them were courteous & polite and when it became clear that 2 trips were needed due to the volume of items we had, this was explained upfront.

Our initial quote was based on 1 flight of stairs & the job being done in 4 hours. We unintentionally discounted the 6 - 7 steps leading up to the entrance of the property, and considered the stairs in the hallway to be just one flight. The reality is that there were 3 flights of stairs which significantly affected the initial quote due to the need to recruit another individual.

Given we had seen quotes ranging from £600 - £1800, we were thrilled to recruit RSL for somewhere just shy of half of this and had no issue with paying an extra 20% upon settlement based on the extra time/individual needed to complete the move. After watching them lift, carry & pivot things all day, I increasingly felt like we were the ones getting a bargain! If we moved again, they would be our default without question. We had George and his workmate moving us today. Very efficient polite and very helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us. They even took bed apart and reassembled at new place. Highly recommend them to anyone and amazing prices for the hard work they do.

Avoid for for anything beyond basic box moving. Also, they are dishonest about damages.

There are two chief complaints:
* They failed to reasonable secure some important items, despite assurances that it is their "one of their most experienced teams" and that it "ensures that your valuable items, particularly the artwork and electronics, are handled with the utmost care and precision." They should be upfront about what they can and cannot do.
* They caused some damage (fine, things happen) and did not handle it with honesty and integrity (unacceptable). This was observed in two ways: a) they did not tell me - I had to notice and point out myself, even for stuff they could not plausible miss (dropping something heavy) (b) once they got the money they did not meet their own (long) deadlines on the claim process, and my emails were largely ignored or left unanswered for a long time.

On the plus side: they moved things fast, so if you pack and secure the items yourself, and don't let them handle anything too important, that might be fine. If anything happens, do not expect them to tell you or remedy it.

Brilliant service start to finish. On time, got everything out of the flat quickly and safely. Everything then transported to the new property and contents moved in professionally (including remaking some furniture!).

We booked to have a wardrobe collected from a property and delivered to us after purchasing it on eBay and when they arrived they couldn’t get it down the stairs. Despite me paying extra for them to collect from first floor and deliver to first floor, and the fact that they didn’t complete the job as only went to first address, they still charged us full price. When I queried this and said they should at least take off the extra we paid, they didn’t want to know. We are therefore £120 down for only half a Job completed. Terrible customer service and won’t be using again. My sister is moving house in a few months time and definitely won’t be recommending.

The admin was excellent and the delivery guys were lovely. However, a few things were lost and they didn't reply to emails (having been previously great at replying). A bag was also lost and they denied it had been, only to backtrack one day later from this supposedly empty van to deliver it. The driver was great, apologetic. This is a very cheap service and all they do is hire a guy from Taskrabbit et al. You could do this yourself. They don't have their own drivers and are a very small company (as evidenced by not being VAT registered). Moving is stressful but I just didn't make it into my flat with all my items.

Edit: I emailed politely to reiterate that some small things (which are worth nothing, but had sentimental value bc they were gifts) had been lost and they accused me of losing them myself. Caveat emptor.

I was lucky to get in touch with RSL after getting very unreal high priced qoutes from several so called professional movers and packers. RSL was very professional, reasonable in price and above all did my move including dismantling and reassembling my furniture in a very efficient way. Thank you Tom, and Yanis - you are superb. I had a great experience with RSL Man and Van, who redelivered all my items from storage to my new house. I had an awful experience previously for the packing and storage with a well known competitor , so I had RSL do the redelivery instead. Communication with the team beforehand was good as I had to provide the storage information and get them registered with the storage unit. Everything went without a hitch, even though the original driver was replaced last minute due to a family issue, leaving us with Rus instead.

They were then both efficient and careful with the loading and unloading, and were great, friendly guys. Would definitely use again for any future moves

Honestly, words can't describe what an amazing job Ruslan and Abdullah did on my move last Friday. I was so stressed about my move but the second I met them they put me so at ease. They said I didnt need to write a review, but I simply couldnt and finally getting to it. They went above and beyond what I was expecting from movers. Nothing was damaged, which is a first time ever for me and I've moved a lot in my life! They followed every instruction with such care. The second the found out I recently had a surgery they helped me with even unwrapping my items and putting them in the rooms, positions that made my life so much easier. I genuinely felt so blessed and so grateful for those two amazing movers! Thank you again Ruslan and Abdullah!

Was moving house just a short distance and needed all the usual heavy items taking to our new address. I am always sceptical when it comes to shopping around for the best price but boy was I in for a treat.

Booked a van and 3 lads to come round at 9am to help move the big stuff. We had the van for 3 hours which is a fixed minimum with the potential to run longer pay as you go.

This is when the magic happened. They turned up 15 minutes early, took more than I had originally requested they moved and had it all out into our new house in just 2 hours. This included a American style fridge that didn't fit through the front door and a sofa that equally was bulky.

I would highly recommend that you look into these guys if you are moving. Definitely get a quote if nothing else.

If we move again they will be the choice for sure. Best in class for moving I'd say.

They went out of their way to help me order the rooms at the new property, and patiently carried out dismantling/reassembling despite the tricky nature of the vintage furniture. I moved my stuff to a storage unit on 5/12/23. George and his helper were extremely considerate, helpful and quick in their job. I have used movers many times before but this experience was extremely seamless. They arrived on time and dismantled all my furniture super quickly but in a cautious way ensuring that no damage is caused. He even placed a mat on the floor of the van to protect the furniture and he also had a mattress protector. Despite the space being limited in the unit, they managed to store my stuff very efficiently. I will definitely use their service again and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have a smooth and stress free moving experience.

I would highly recommend booking with George if you are needing help with moving home. I relocated from London to the outskirts this week and could not have had such a seamless transition without their support. A huge thank you and I will definitely use their services again.

Before booking, I ensured that they could dismantle and assemble a ottoman bed and double door sliding wardrobe, he asked for a few photo sent and an instant reply saying yes he can.

He turned up on time and was ready to get started straight. George was professional, efficient and nothing was too small or too big.

The process of moving was extremely smooth, due to our location parking was bit of an issue, however I was on watch to make sure I can call George at a moments notice to move the van if needed.
