We recently purchased some doors for our kitchen cabinets. The RTI staff went above and beyond to help us and have the order ready really quick. Our kitchen looks really amazing and brand new with the doors. We are really impressed with the quality of the doors and their services. We will definitely be getting back to RTI Cabinets for any of our future renovations.

I was told 6-8 weeks for my cabinets. I waited over 3.5 months and lost my installer. I finally received a refund. Now no cabinets. What a waste of time. Save your money and sanity and find another kitchen cabinet company!

We have a similar experience to several other reviewers. We ordered a small number of cabinets for our pantry in June 2024 with an 8-9 week order time. At the 13 week mark after pestering them, we were told they were ready. The pick-up process at the warehouse was chaotic to say the least. We were told at that time that a drawer front was damaged in
manufacturing and would be replaced and shipped to us as we were moving out of town. It is 7 months later now and we still have no drawer front. Excuses have included: lost new drawer front, wrong paint, and the warehouse moved so things are chaotic (this is true). Email communication has been prompt and polite, but no resolution. It is unfortunate as the cabinets are well made but be aware if there is a problem with them you will have difficulty getting it resolved.

This has been the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Their communication is zero, and when you do talk to someone they outright lie.

We placed an order for 12 cabinets on Sept 19. The website shows a 6-8 week turn around, and we expected it would be a little bit delayed beyond that. I called to have one of the cabinet layouts changed around the 6 week mark (end of October) and they advised that would cause a bit of a delay. Not a problem.

I heard nothing after this. I called the second week of December and was told the doors were at the painter. Great, almost done. I then heard nothing again.
I called the next week and was advised the cabinets were done and they were working on delivery (but never called me). The woman on the phone asked when we were available and I advised Monday December 23 and she said they would be in contact.

We heard nothing again. My husband then followed up the first week of January and he was told they were actually closed for two weeks over the holidays. So why wasn’t I told that on the phone? They also advised him they had misplaced one of the drawer fronts and that caused a delay but they had found it now. They arranged to have the cabinets deliver Wednesday January 15 with an email confirmation.

They then called him on Saturday January 11 asking if they could deliver on the 12th. He told them we would not be home but we had delivery confirmed for Wednesday and they told him it wasn’t confirmed and that they had to wait for the driver to confirm his availability.

It is now January 15. My husband called the driver at 4pm and he advised he did not have the cabinets so I called the store. I was advised by the woman on the phone that the other driver had them because the drivers swapped routes but they would come at 9pm.

At this point we still have no cabinets. (Mini update, the driver called me at 10pm to try to deliver cabinets, that is extremely inappropriate).

I complained on their Instagram and their solution was to block me. That is not the way to deal with a dissatisfied customer.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the stress and order cabinets from literally any other company as this one is a scam.

Update: finally got the kitchen, it is missing a drawer front that supposedly was cracked at the painters. Nobody advised us that there would be missing pieces.
I’d be so much more satisfied if this company would just communicate properly.

We opted for RTI based on some of the positive reviews about service and quality. The service up until and during the sales process was excellent. The staff really pulled out all the stops to ensure we received delivery by the date we needed. Their efforts are appreciated very much.

They’re OK

I will start by saying these are the most economical cabinets available that I could find. The quality based on what I expected for the price was pretty good, some minor flaws in the melamine finish and edge banding but not too bad. Door fronts are pretty nice (thermofoil), though some of the hinges seem hastily installed. Even at max adjustment some of the doors do not fully line up, but I can live with that. Customer service is where they are lacking. When I ordered, the their website quoted 4-5 weeks for delivery. In reality, they took nearly 16 weeks to deliver. I contacted them repeatedly asking for updates on delivery date and they would never give me a date, just say they’ll let me know when the cabinets are ready for delivery (they do t seem to answer their phone so communication was mostly email). I was totally patient throughout, but only when I started to get angry near the end did any movement happen. I was later told I should have given them an exact date of when I needed the cabinets and they would have made sure they were ready. So maybe something to think about when ordering. After receiving the cabinets, from a delivery crew who seemed very unsure of how many items were in the order, I had a contractor begin install after removing old kitchen only to realize none of the adjustable feet or shelf pins were delivered. I spent an entire day trying to contact the company, while paying a contractor to be at the house for install, to figure out when I could get these as the lower cabinets can’t be installed without the feet. I ended up having to buy them at Home Depot for $250 as I could not proceed without. When someone contacted me at the end of the day, they offered to ship them to me by Thursday (this is Saturday). I said that didn’t work as my contractor wasn’t available after the weekend and now my mom is 5 days without a kitchen, and I would like to be reimbursed for the items not included in my order. I was told to send pictures of what I bought with receipts and that management would be in contact. I heard nothing back and then a delivery person dropped a box of plastic feet on my doorstep without notice three weeks after install. What exactly am I supposed to do with these now?

Ordered 4 cabinets in June was told 2-3 weeks for delivery the BC Cloverdale factory machine broke and waited until the end of AUG TO RECEIVE THE CABINETS. For all the issues I had to get them they were going to deliver for free and upon delivery the cabinets were not packed and secured in the truck and arrived with the doors damaged and cabinet boxes as same. They replaced the doors and received them 4 weeks later with again damage to one of the doors. Finally just got the door and was told was to get a discount for all my troubles never happened. So if you want junk buy at RTI

I ordered cabinets and panels with matching paint for a built in TV wall unit. The pricing was fair and the communication along the way was great. Delivery process was well communicated and timing was accurate. We were very satisfied with the end product and the paint match was very accurate. I will 100% use this company for future projects!

I ordered cabinets from them last month and i was happy with the quality and the prices as i got a quote from a contractor which was 2 time the price that they give us……. WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍

Well, how can I give them stars when my order is not yet completed after more than a month? CS told me the vanity cabinet in grey will arrive in 7 days while the white one will be 10 days. I paid and ordered for grey. 3 weeks after, no call/email so I went back to the store and demanded that they give me the cabinet without the door. After 1 week, no door yet. I went back again and I was told that the doors will be coming from Banff or wherever and they will contact me when there is an ETA. Not even shipping date. I was planning to buy kitchen cabinets there and more bathroom cabinets after my basement renovation but now, I'm looking for other makers. Beware, don't trust them. Cabinet makers with no cabinet to sell. Surrey, BC.

Great cabinets great price. Worked out great for my room. The paint Color I chose really went well with everything. One of the doors had a small dent in the corner from delivery. They responded right away and are shipping a new door. Will recommend RTI to friends and family.

Purchased 2 kitchens and the cabinets seem well constructed and look modern. Although 2 of the doors had imperfections they promptly made replacements and shipped them to the job site.

Easy to use web site that allowed me to select cabinet widths in one inch increments and a wide selection of cabinet heights. The order process was simple enough on the web but you can also talk to a sales rep if needed. I got my cabinets within weeks, the delivery option saved me time and money. They delivered by their own truck so the cabinets came in perfect condition. The soft close drawers and doors are a great feature. A couple suggestions would be to offer full depth drawers and crown moulding length longer than 8 feet. I will likely use this company for future projects and have recommended them to a friend who has placed an order.
