I recently purchased a Rubber B strap…

I recently purchased a Rubber B strap in green for my IWC Timezoner, and frankly, I’m disappointed. At a $300 price point, the quality felt more like an $80 alternative—the green was dull and the construction was underwhelming. Note that it doesn't include pins, so you'll need your own. The fit was the biggest issue; the deployment clasp side is too short, causing the buckle to sit awkwardly off-center on my wrist. When I called, they told me it’s "one size fits all," which is unacceptable for a premium strap intended for a $10k timepiece. To top it off, they charge a $20 restocking fee plus return shipping. I’d recommend looking at brands like Revival instead.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy the Military Green color. It is definitely a lighter, more faded green - especially in the sunlight. It tends to look much darker indoors - a fun fact about that particular green in our lineup.

Regarding the Rubber B for IWC Timezoner - it is actually the same size as the OEM “Standard” size strap that comes from IWC on that watch. If the RB version does not fit you well, then you must have a non-standard size from IWC.

For any need, including yours, we provide same-day customer service with a live human, as you experienced - because we truly value you as a customer.

According to our conversation with you, it seems you would need a longer piece on one side, which would be longer than the IWC factory band in their standard size.

We apologize that we can only offer the standard OEM size match for that model at this time. We would love to make more options of course, but the Swiss factory we share with the top watch brands has overwhelmed production slots, so they limit every brand’s production abilities, meaning we must make other priority launch choices unfortunately. :(

The return fee you are upset about is not a punishment or profit mechanism. It is a normal fee charged by most small retailers and niche brands to cover the transactions fees and other costs associated with returns. We do absorb those losses and provide complimentary outbound shipping on Exchanges.

Amazing looking strap! It arrived yesterday and following the installation video made this super easy. I ordered a white rubber strap for my…

I ordered a white rubber strap for my Tudor Black Bay Pro (Opaline dial). I received the strap and promptly put it on my watch. The fit and quality are excellent; however, it's just too youthful for my age.

I contacted support, and they immediately responded with instructions on how to return the strap and offered a refund or an exchange for a different strap. I chose the black rubber strap, and it arrived within days. The refund landed back on my card in less than a week from when I first contacted them.

I am extremely pleased with the service they provided and feel they make an exceptional product.

Qualität der Bänder nicht schlecht (wenngleich die Bänder etwas steif sind!)
Preis aber zu hoch für ein Kautschuk-Band!
Aber......
Support von Rubber B sehr schlecht - habe ein Swim Skin Band für meine Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 310.30.42.50.01.001 bestellt - leider passt dies überhaupt nicht an den Bandanstoss der Omega - laut Support Rubber B es tut uns leid aber es passt nicht an alle Moonwatch Modelle!!
Sollte man bei so einem Preis aber bei der Beschreibung angeben oder?
Ich könnte das Band ja zurückschicken - und darum jetzt auch die schlechte Bewertung - Rücksende-Adresse von Rubber B erhalten - Packet in Österreich aufgegeben - 30.- bezahlt - Packet ist nach 1.Woche wieder retour gekommen weil es derzeit massive Probleme mit dem Zoll in den USA gibt!
Packet wieder abgeholt - wieder 20.- bezahlt!
Support Rubber B kontaktiert mit Problem-Beschreibung (Zoll) keine Lösung sozusagen Pech gehabt auch keine Gutschrift oder ähnliches obwohl es schon das 3.Band war das ich bei Rubber B bestellt habe!
In Summe also ca. 350.- verloren, danke Rubber B
Nie wieder!!!!!!!!!!!!

Antwort-Punkte 2 und 4 von Rubber B kann ich absolut nicht bestätigen!
Das Band passt eben überhaupt nicht auf diese Version der Moonwatch!
Es wurde seitens Rubber B nicht alles zufriedenstellend unternommen!

We are sad to see your review, and we share your frustration. We did everything respectfully:

1) We shipped your order the same day you placed it.
2) The strap you received fits your watch model exactly like the photos on our product page. We did not change the photos from the truth.
3) You were not happy with the fit and eventually requested a return. We replied the same business day with clear return instructions.
4) Unfortunately, something unique happened with the shipper you chose because your package was returned back to your own address, rather than arriving to us.
5) Several other customers in Austria have been making successful shipments to us in the USA during the same time period. We received their items and serviced their orders.

We followed all of the best support methods to help you throughout this process, and without any delays. We also agreed to waive the return fee in order to be kind and fair to your particular opinion of the strap fitment. However, your shipment never arrived to us we are not able to make a refund to your credit card. This is beyond our control.

You can still try to send the strap back to us using a different method. Feel free to write us again via email for any new tips or ideas of how to get the strap back to us successfully (so you can recuperate the majority of money back for the return of your (New Condition) strap).

This is the best we can do, and we are always happy to do so because we care very much about our customers - even the ones who need to make returns for any reason.

Got the strap

Got the strap, looks defective as the pigmentation looks to be mixed incorrectly. Contacted support the next day. Did not hear back after 3 days, sent another email. For the price they charge, this company doesn't appear to care after they take your money. Sadly, I think this company is over hyped, was thinking of ordering more colors but won't be doing so anymore. Save your money and go elsewhere.

After much research and trying to find…

After much research and trying to find the right rubber strap for my watch, I kept coming across Rubber B. I originally went with another rubber strap maker, Helvetus, and I have to say it was a total disaster! I was offered a different band than what I originally ordered. When it arrive,( from China) I quickly realized this wasnt what I paid for. I immediately sent it back for a refund that I'm still waiting on. Totally unacceptable. Kept looking and Rubber B came up again. I was happy to see they were also in Florida as I am. I quickly called them and was able to make an appointment for proper installation and fitting. I cant say how glad I am this all turned out perfect and quality is night an day from the "other" band maker. Thank you again to Jonathan, for making it right.

Rubber B Ayant monté un bracelet caoutchouc…

Ayant monté un bracelet caoutchouc Rubber B sur ma rolex Submariner depuis avril 2019. Celui ci se craquele depuis plus de 2 ans…. Sachant que je ne la mets pas tous le tps et que je la rince dès que je sors de la mer. Je me permets de contacter la grande maison Rubber B pour leur signaler le problème et à ma grande surprise ils m indiquent que le bracelet n est pas garanti…. Au prix auquel il coûte la réponse est déplacée
Ceci étant il aurait mieux valu que j achète un bracelet Nato qui aurait duré dans le temps.
Ne recommande pas.

Nous sommes désolés d'apprendre qu'il y a eu un malentendu. Vous avez raison, même si votre bracelet a 6 ans, des craquelures sont inhabituelles. Cela signifie que votre expérience est atypique.

Et voici pourquoi: Les bracelets Rubber B sont fabriqués à partir du caoutchouc vulcanisé le plus fin et le plus résistant, un matériau si exceptionnel qu'il est breveté et exclusif à une seule usine suisse, la même où les marques horlogères les plus prestigieuses fabriquent leurs bracelets d'origine.

Rubber B bénéficie d'une excellente réputation en matière de qualité (97 % d'avis cinq étoiles de clients vérifiés) depuis 15 ans. Si vous avez constaté des craquelures, cela n'est absolument pas dû au caoutchouc.

Vous avez dû négliger votre bracelet en caoutchouc après l'avoir (inconsciemment) contaminé avec un produit chimique agressif qui a stagné à sa surface pendant une période prolongée. Ce produit chimique a dû rester si longtemps sans être rincé qu'il a pu pénétrer plus profondément dans le caoutchouc. Honnêtement, regardez le dessous de votre bracelet pour voir les résidus que vous avez probablement au niveau du logo (une accumulation blanche, autre signe évident de négligence en matière de lavage).

En résumé, notre caoutchouc est resté inchangé ces 15 dernières années et ne présente aucune variation. Si votre bracelet était effectivement craquelé, les autres le seraient également.

Comme tout ce que nous portons, un bracelet ne dure pas éternellement et sa durée de vie est grandement influencée par son entretien (eau et savon pour les mains de temps en temps). Les clients qui rachètent un bracelet RB le font généralement au bout de 5 à 6 ans, car ils ont été satisfaits de leur première expérience.

Daher können wir nicht direkt aus der Schweiz an unsere Kunden versenden. RubberB is excellence…

Unfortunately I ordered straps from two other companies, before discovering RubberB.
Both times the straps from other companies were terrible quality and a very poor fitment to the watch. However the strap I ordered from RubberB is top quality and fit my Day Date absolutely perfect.
I will place another order soon and so should you if perfection is what you are looking for.

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!
Entgegen der Internetdarstellung ( … unsere Fabrik befindet sich in der Schweiz …) erfolgt der Versand zu Wucherpreisen aus den USA. Zu diesen hohen Versandkosten kommen nochmals über 100 Dollar Zusatzkosten die UPS bei der Aushändigung verlangt. Insgesamt verdoppeln sich fast die ursprünglich genannten Kosten. Die Rücksendung wird sehr stark eingeschränkt und mit hohen Kosten belegt, um den Käufer jede Lust an der Rückabwicklung zu vermiesen. Wer immer auf die EU schimpft: Hier gibt es noch Verbraucherschutz. In den USA ist man völlig unkontrollierten Machenschaften ausgeliefert.

1) Wir bieten Ihnen ein Luxusprodukt höchster Qualität, das zu 100 % in der Schweiz hergestellt wird. Die Produkte müssen jedoch zunächst zur Überprüfung und auf Genauigkeit an unseren Hauptsitz in den USA geliefert werden, damit unsere Kunden die passenden Armbänder erhalten. Daher können wir nicht direkt aus der Schweiz an unsere Kunden versenden. Da Sie in einer Region Europas leben, in der die Steuern stets sehr hoch sind, ist es überraschend, dass Sie die Mehrwertsteuer nicht kennen. Sollten Sie jedoch zum ersten Mal mit der Einfuhrsteuer konfrontiert sein, finden Sie die AGB unseres Shops hier: https://rubberb.com/terms . Diese Richtlinie gilt und wenn Sie Ihre Bestellung aufgeben, befindet sich das Kontrollkästchen für die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen neben der Schaltfläche „Senden“ .

2) Nicht jeder Kunde muss mit der Steuerabgabe rechnen, aber Ihr Land Deutschland hat offenbar beschlossen, Ihnen einen hohen Betrag in Rechnung zu stellen. Wir bedauern, dass wir darauf keinen Einfluss haben. Wenn Sie das Rubber B-Armband bei einem unserer Händler in Deutschland oder der Schweiz kaufen würden, müssten Sie die Mehrwertsteuer darauf zahlen, genau wie bei jedem anderen Produkt, das Sie in Deutschland kaufen. (Der angegebene Preis wäre ohnehin höher, um die Mehrwertsteuer abzudecken.)

3) Rubber B ist eine kleine Marke, die Armbänder höchster Qualität aus der führenden Schweizer Manufaktur anbietet (wo Luxusmarken wie Hublot, Omega, Vacheron, Chanel usw. ihre Armbänder herstellen lassen, die allein aufgrund ihres Namens zwei- bis viermal so teuer sind wie unsere). Um die Bedürfnisse möglichst vieler Kunden umfassend zu erfüllen, bietet RB seine Produkte seit 14 Jahren stets zu möglichst niedrigen Preisen an. Wir haben unsere Preise nie erhöht. Wir wissen, dass Kunden die Möglichkeit zur Rückgabe haben müssen, und bieten daher einen schnellstmöglichen Rückgabeprozess, wie Sie selbst erfahren haben. Wir können die damit verbundenen Kosten jedoch nicht übernehmen und entschuldigen uns für etwaige Unannehmlichkeiten.

4) Wenn Sie ein Rubber B-Armband einmal ausprobieren und richtig behandeln, werden Sie feststellen, dass es bei täglichem Tragen durchschnittlich 5–6 Jahre hält und Ihnen die Freude bereitet, die Sie erwarten und verdienen.

Disappointing quality and customer experience – not what you’d expect at this price point

I purchased a white-orange Rubber B strap for my Rolex Explorer II with high expectations, based on how the brand positions itself—Swiss-made, hand-finished, used by top watchmakers like Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. Sadly, the product I received fell far short of that promise.

The first strap had a clear visual flaw—an uneven color transition and a visible surface bump. I reported the issue with detailed documentation, including photos and color analysis. Rubber B sent a replacement, but it too showed visible irregularities.

When I raised this again, I was told these were normal tolerances due to hand-finishing. I find that hard to believe—no luxury brand would accept this level of inconsistency, especially for a product meant to complement a multi-thousand-euro timepiece.

Rather than standing behind their quality and inspecting inventory for a flawless strap, Rubber B ultimately declined to continue and advised me to return the item for a refund. That’s not the kind of service or product control I expected from a brand claiming to be in the luxury segment.

I’ve returned both straps and won’t be buying from Rubber B again. Disappointing from start to finish.

Despite that fact, we respect your opinion and never doubted your right to dislike the strap. From the moment you reached out, our team provided immediate and very friendly assistance via both email and telephone support channels that are increasingly rare in today’s e-commerce environment (try reaching a human at any of the companies that emulate RB straps). We then sent you a hand-selected, Swiss-made replacement strap, personally chosen by our operations manager for its exceptional quality and fit. When that, too, did not satisfy you, we promptly issued the RA for a full, no-argument refund.

Because ratings range from five stars (excellent) down to one star (the lowest possible), your choice of a one-star review indicates that nothing short of perfection could have met your expectations.

We strive to deliver both a world-class product and a responsive, customer-first experience, so we regret that our efforts fell short of what you deemed acceptable for any stars whatsoever. Of course, this also demonstrates your lack of capability when it comes to using reason.

In any case, we are happy that we provided you the full refund before you left this review, because we strive for customers to be entirely satisfied, as their straps will last many years of enjoyment.
