Safari Consultants organised a bespoke family safari and got it absolutely right!

This is the second year we have used Safari Consultants for our trips to Kenya and they have made the whole experience so easy and uncomplicated leaving us to totally relax. All the information we required was given to us without the need to ask and in plenty of time to act on it. The value for money and standard of what they and their partners supplied for us is truly exceptional, and they are a delighted to deal with. They listen to what you would like and have the experience to deliver exactly what you are after. Amazing company, many thanks to them all.

The holiday itself was absolutely superb. It ran like clockwork, and we celebrated my sister's birthday in a way we will always remember. We were treated like kings! This is the third time that we have used Safari Consultants, and they will be our first port of call for any further travel in Africa.

We had an incredible experience start to finish with Safari Consultants. Rob was excellent and very thorough throughout the process, and was always on hand and readily available if we had any questions. He listened carefully to what we were looking for and organised a fantastic trip for us which was perfect and took into account our preferences! We didn't have to do anything but turn up and enjoy the safari.Thanks to Rob's careful recommendations we stayed at camps which were truly unique and prioritised wildlife conservation and an intimate private safari experiences which is exactly what we wanted, and not so easy to find amongst all the big corporate options! After speaking with Rob for an initial consultation call it was clear that he had an excellent knowledge of the local areas and wildlife, and I really trusted him to plan an excellent trip for us. Safari Consultants, specifically Mary, were able to build us the exact package we wanted for a 40th Anniversary break in Kenya.
Safari Consultants dealt with all aspects of our holiday, including excellent guided transfers for all steps of our travel within Kenya.
First 3 nights with the very wonderful Andrew and Sonia at Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages in Likipia. They are are able to deal with all types of dietary restrictions and you feel very comfortable and safe under their care. The game drives, with your own guide, in our case Hezzy, are exciting, informative and really give you a feel for the area.
We then flew to Kicheche Mara North camp managed by the incomparable Andrew and Mikena which is a very high spec tented camp all dietary restrictions were catered for and again we felt safe and comfortable.
The game drives were amazing, we saw some incredible sights. Many thanks to our guide Brian.
We cannot state just how wonderful this all was.
To top it all there were issues with the main airline coming home. Mary dealt with all of this cheerfully and efficiently giving us every confidence during a stressful time.
Our deepest thanks for arranging something so memorable with so many Firsts for us.

If it is your first or you are a serial safari goer Safari Consultants are an excellent font of knowledge and help.

In my case their stripes were earnt when my trip was extended due to the breakout of war in The Middle East. Stranded in Kenya for another week Mary ( my consultant) assisted me in getting back out on safari and making the most of an extended stay.

All in all everything ran like clockwork and we will certainly use them again.

We have travelled with Safari Consultants several times and recently enjoyed another wonderful trip this time combining South Africa, Kenya and Zanzibar. Our trip was complex and varied, but we were met every step of the way by their excellent colleagues on the ground and all logistics were seamless. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, we had to cut our safari short for immediate treatment in Nairobi. This was naturally a stressful situation, however, Michele and her team acted quickly and could not have done enough for us, from rearranging flights and hotel accommodation, to assisting us with transfers to hospital appointments. Their care and attention to detail is remarkable, not only when planning your holiday but also throughout your journey, should you ever need it. Its worth mentioning that we have travelled to Africa for over 25 years and previously used the services of a number of specialist safari travel operators before finding Safari Consultants who have now become our go to travel organisation for Africa

Working with Safari Consultants (Michele, Kelly and team) was exceptional from start to finish.

From our first conversation, they took the time to understand who we are as travelers, recognized that this was our honeymoon, not to mention, we reached out fairly last minute as far as safaris go (connecting in late November for a late December trip), but that didn't trip them up and they were able to over-deliver and service and experience.

They crafted an itinerary that blended luxury and authenticity beautifully, pairing Hemingways Ol Seki Mara in Naboisho Conservancy with Saruni Wild in Mara North/Lemek, followed by a beach stay at Kisiwa on the Beach in Zanzibar.

Each stop felt intentionally chosen. Hemingways offered polished, five-star comfort to begin our safari journey, while Saruni Wild immersed us more deeply in the bush with extraordinary guiding and an intimate, authentic feel. Ending in Zanzibar provided the perfect opportunity to unwind after the intensity of safari.

Beyond the itinerary itself, every detail was handled seamlessly. From the moment we landed in Kenya to our departure, we felt completely taken care of. All transfers, internal flights, and on-the-ground coordination were effortless. The Vamoos app kept everything organized - flight details, camp information, vaccination reminders, tipping guidance - and communication throughout the process ensured we always felt prepared and informed.

As first-time safari travelers, that level of thoughtfulness and organization meant everything. It was a dream honeymoon, and one so special that we’re already thinking about the next.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 16 day adventure in Kenya which took in Lewa House, Sarara Camp and Kinondo Kwetu, all recommended by Safari Consultants. The venues, game viewing and beach location exceeded expectations and the logistics were seamless.
