As per my review we have the proof that we sent several emails that was completely ignored from that i rest my case so Miss Waddington read your own correspondence instead of asking myself to provide this my name is Michael Palmer my case went on for years after the lady poaching the public to get you clients stated it will only take Months date of experience 2019 January the calendar below doesn't go back far enough

We are now one of the clients who’s had the misfortune of instructing this firm. How Sarah Waddington has not been struck off is beyond me.

Avoid this firm like the plague.

The Legal Ombudsman has recently upheld a compliant we filed against Sarah Waddington Solicitors, finding that their service was very poor and actually lost us the chance to make a claim that should have had every chance of succeeding. The Ombudsman remedy included compensation for distress and inconvenience. We are not alone in suffering such detriment. The Ombudsman has found in favour of complainants in another 14 cases in the last 12 months alone – the worst record of any SRA regulated solicitor. Since 2018, there have been 23 decisions, The information issued by the Ombudsman cites multiple cases of 'Failure to keep informed, Failure to progress, Failure to respond, Poor complaints handling'.

I have had the same misfortune of having dealings with SWS - It has taken approx 4.5 years to get what I paid for them to get me out of the timeshare company by their con of they can get relinquish me from the timeshare contract
I eventually had to go via the LLO - I finally did get what I paid- only advice I can offer - DO NOT STOP paying your levies, or keep them in a savings account - so when it becomes approx a year later and the timeshare company wants to take you to court via nonpayment of the levies because you haven't paid - and if you didn't save and that happens - guess what you no longer own timeshare and SWS can then say oh but we don't have anything to fight for - and keep all of the emails - reply to the ones you ask for updates - keep those that's really important - this law firm should !!!! - I will leave that to your own imagination

This is MY opinion based on My experiences having engaged the services of this utterly shameful firm of solicitors. They took my money up-front then ignored all my requests for information, updates and representation in a timeshare exit offer that they were contractually obliged to provide. The Legal Ombudsman upheld my complaint and the firm finally had to pay me compensation following their fanciful claim that they might challenge the Ombudsman via the process of Judicial Review. In my experience, this firm behaved towards me in a way that was as bad as the timeshare company I sought to be released from. I can state that over the course of the last five years there have been FIFTEEN claims against this firm that have been dealt with AND UPHELD by the Legal Ombudsman requiring the firm to repay fees and make compensation.
DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Dear Robert Thanks very much for your assistance with this issue. We are very happy with the service that Sarah Waddington Solicitors provided and are extremely happy that we are now out of our timeshare experience!!

I was contacted a few years ago by a marketing company directing me to the services of Sarah Waddington solicitors for claiming against timeshare Resort Properties and its successor Silverpoint. Big claims were made about the success of the firm in recovering monies for contravention of timeshare laws and relinquishment. I paid several thousand pounds up front. I was only ever contacted by assistants and no claim was made. It took a few years for just relinquishment to be achieved. But Silverpoint were only too happy to agree to this as they were facing liquidation under the weight of claims pending. I asked for an accounting of time and work actually undertaken to justify the fee and had no response. The main priority seemed to be to secure up front fees including to pay for disbursements but no accounting provided on request which is poor and unprofessional.

We instructed Sarah Waddington Solicitors to deal with a SilverPoint Timeshare in Tenerife and was told by Robert Adam in his sales pitch that they have extensive knowledge in this matter with several other clients filing against SP. We had to sign a contract then began payment in monthly installments, Robert assured us a case would be built and work would start as soon as the first payment was made. The plan was to fairly quickly break the maintenance contract then file for compensation against SP. 8 months later we were still paying and had virtually no evidence that Sarah was actually doing anything. Even making contact was a mission as every time she had a call scheduled there was some technical reason she couldn't make it. We tried to do our due diligence after the timeshare scam and thought a UK company would be more trustworthy. We asked the ombudsman for advice but as there is no time frame in the contract she uses the excuse "you didn't give me enough time" so we have now lost more money with nothing to show for it. I know there are allot of confusing articles and dubious connections in the timeshare world, but please do not make the same mistake. Until someone actually gets their money back then you cant believe they're promises.
