Had a more than-expected good experience with them a couple of days ago.

Don't ever bank with them.
They blocked my online access, told me I had to wait for letters to access again. I then needed to get home & I couldn't access my balance so I had to ring them. The first 2 people I spoke to were so so so rude. The 3rd was nicer. The first 2 messed it up even more saying they've pushed a new letter to come out after telling them I do not need it I need the first letter so I can get this sorted ASAP. We have bills to pay and they like to mess around with our lives like that. 1 gent I spoke so made me feel like I was tiny, like I didn't know what I was doing. The 3rd lady I spoke to.like I said was nicer. She told me to discard of any letters coming before the 22nd so I did, recieved the 2 letters dated after the 22nd and thought finally I can get this sorted. Inputted on the app...'your account has been blocked' please contact us.
I have bills to pay! Sort this out. I've given them every bit of information to prove it is me and they can't even help me via the phone to get the account unlocked! It's always waiting for stupid letters!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait for this to get sorted & close my account with them. Absolute waste of time.
So if you don't even wanna access your online banking I suggest santander.
If you want to pay your bills & be able to live bank somewhere else.

My Mum and Sister visited Burnley branch yesterday and received absolutely appalling service. They had gone in branch to sort out my Dads bank accounts who had recently passed away. The advisor was really rude and showed no compassion whatsoever this made the whole situation even more upsetting for my Mum in an already difficult situation.
The advisor never even said they were sorry about my Dads death with I find appalling as a decent human being you would naturally show so sort of empathy!!!

Absolutely crap applied for a loan got a great credit score can afford the repayments and get declined now has put a hard search on my file stay away people don't jepodise your credit flies try elsewhere

Santander blocked the current account. But they didn't say what the block actually blocked: internet access/ direct debits / inpayments / deposits / all withdrawals / a specific withdrawal / everything??? Wanted to cancel a transfer to another savings bank. The transfer was on hold pending security validation, and after an hour on the phone decided to cancel the transfer altogether. Did that unblock the account? - No! Santander said that it could not be unblocked unless they had assurance that the payee was a valid bank. Whoa!! What difference would that make? Because, whether the payee was bona fide or not, the transfer was being cancelled. Madness.

Rang up to change my Bank account to stop the £5 fee for the 123 Account, as I no longer have money being paid in to this account .
Spoke to one advisor who told me they would pass on my details to someone who deals with it.
After being passed over , the new advisor told me there were 5 other Bank accounts .
He then asks me if I can pay £5k in a month , then am I a student. I told him he had my information, so why is he asking this questions.
I gave up , am still paying the £5 fee but will switch my Bank.
Avoid these idiots!!!

Ønsker man fx. sin ydelse nedsat, koster det et gebyr på 1.000,00
Ønsker man sin SAFE forsikring aktiveret, koster det et gebyr på 1.000,00
Foretages der udlæg i fx. ens bil, koster det 1.000,00

Når man aktiverer sin SAFE forsikring, så skal man bevise at man ikke selv er skyld i ledighed.
Fremsender man sin opsigelse som drejer sig om alt andet end nedskæring eller konkurs, så er det ikke en gyldig grund til aktivering af SAFE.

Under alle omstændigheder koster alt ved Satander 1.000,00 kroner.

Kort sagt, overvej kraftigt om Satander er jeres eneste mulighed, da alt hvad Satander foretager sig, koster 1.000,00 kroner.

Var på Mallorca og forsøgte at hæve penge i deres automat..
Penge kom der ingen af, til gængæld hævede de pengene på mit kort..
