Expensive products that break quickly
Bought one of their very expensive (£90) Mac hub adapters, with the assumption that the slick-looking product would be reliable given the good looking design and price tag. The cable failed after minimal use; artifacts were increasingly appearing on screen, colours became increasingly erratic to the point it was eventually unusable. They wanted me to pay shipping costs of over £30 to send it to the US to be replaced, which I told them was ridiculous. They eventually just sent me a replacement, which is now also dying after even less use than the previous one. artifacts are appearing on the screen which can be removed by adjusting the position of the unit, though it is getting harder to do so - it is evident that the very short cable is simply not fit for purpose, as it clearly cannot stand up to even the slightest amount of wear and tear of simply being moved a bit every now and then. Avoid at all costs.
Amazing after sale service

After asking my for the product invoice, a video showing the error and giving them my address information, they sent me a replacement unit that arrived 48hr later!.
Amazing! I've been a Satechi products user since 3 years now, and I'll continue to be for many many years.
I bought a Bluetooth numeric keypad and…
I bought a Bluetooth numeric keypad and then finding out it wasn’t working in conjunction with my Apple magic keyboard and when I messaged support all they had to say “we found out that your numeric keypad can’t work with the Apple magic keyboard, we apologies for the inconvenience” without even indicating me how to return or reimburse.

Do not buy from this company there customer service is horrible they take forever to respond i did not receive my order because the courier left it sitting on my doorstep on a busy street satechi does not want to help i will never buy from them again and i do not recommend
Awesome customer support -- couldn't be better!
I had a couple of things go wrong with my recent order but had such a great experience with their highly responsive and helpful staff I had to google around to find some place to leave them a good review!
I'm not sure if the reviews below are disingenuous or if Satechi has had a major CS revamp, but I don't know how the company that produced those experiences and mine could be the same company.
I’ve had 3 interactions with their staff (once on a pre-order, once on order, once on support) and each time staff were quick to respond, polite, clear in their communications, and receptive to the feedback I offered. For me, purchasing from Satechi is a worry-free experience; Anything that might *happen* to go wrong, will be made right.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. They do not respond to emails. While there is a voice mail for messages, no calls are returned. I would recommend NEVER purchasing from this company.
Shoddy construction of product.
I had purchased /dp/B01EU2KRJM from amazon.co.uk, which was described as aluminium, and priced accordantly, yet whose body was actually plastic and was awfully poorly constructed, to an extent that its components became separated when I pulled it from a USB port the first time I used it.
Excellent support, good products
I bought a backlit keyboard on Amazon.
The keyboard is the best I ever used, but it had an effect making it impossible to use after a few months.
The support was really fast and comprehensive and ordered me a new one for free without asking to return the previous one.
So excellent support, good product but not sure about the quality.
Worst ever color match and customer support
Bought a Satechi Hdd enclosure Space Grey. When I got it delivered it was more like Silver ie. way to light. I talked to Satechi support and even sent them photos. Still they thougt it was the right colour. Maybe its Apple whos got the wrong colours? I have returned the enclosure to reseller. Now looking for an alterative brand. Satechi customer support receive bottom score.
Exceptionally bad service
Ordered a simple hub adapter from Satechi because it was going to be quickest. Paid $40 for expedited shipping. Instead of shipping it to me via courier, they put it in the mail. A week later I am still waiting for the hub to arrive but it's so late I have gone to a local tech store and purchased one. Oh, and when I called I got a rude person on the phone. Don't use Satechi.
Probably the worst experience I've ever …
Probably the worst experience I've ever had with a dongle. I bought the Satechi 3.1 USB-C adapter. It worked like a charm to start off with (well, it's still flimsy as f k and isn't even spacegrey).
About 3 days later it doesn't work at all. Nothing works but the charging port. I will NEVER buy anything named "Satechi" again!
