Scenic Opiniões 

Scenic are a joy to travel with. The itineraries are interesting, the tours well guided, the crew exceptional, the accommodation comfortable, the food gourmet and the fellow passengers easy companions. This was my fourth river cruise. I highly recommend Scenic.

Thoroughly professional throughout
From cancelled flights to low water levels dealt with seamlessly when delays and disruptions were inevitable.

The excursion guides were all outstanding but if I had to choose one I would go for Ben Bailey (aka Richard the Lionheart).

very disappointed with the food throughout the cruise

We were booked to travel down the Rhine but could not do so due to low water and Scenic arranged a great alternative cruise around Netherlands and Belgium. A memorable cruise. Staff were fantastic.

Although our itinerary changed onboard scenic Jasper July 21 to 28 Jewell’s of the Rhine due to low river levels out of Scenics hands, we had a fabulous holiday. The food was excellent, drinks were flowing, the staff and crew were fantastic. We met some lovely fellow passengers and still got to see places we’ve never been to before. This is our second river cruise with both Scenic & Emerald. Enjoyed both so much we are doing the Douro river in Portugal in 2027 with Emerald . Would highly recommend this company. They take such pride and care of their customers no matter what.

Long time spent on coaches due to river levels. Whilst scenic could say they ticked a box to get you to start and finish locations it was a wasted 5 plus hours on 2 of the six days. We could not recommend scenic on this experience unfortunately. Plus, they refused to show world cup football on the TV even though the cruise ship next to us has this for their guests. Waste of time upgrading cabin as well as we had a ship docked next to us every single day! This meant keeping our curtains closed or looked into someone elses bedroom. Food was good overall but the rest of the cruise was a bit of a disappointment with the coach transfers being a particular bugbear due to low water levels on the river.

Welcoming genuine wonderful service from start to finish.

The Ship and crew were outstanding. The Open Bridge policy was great. Everyone was very supportive. The Shore Excursions were too long and at the wrong times for me. I have a Brain Injury and needed to Rest when they were timed for.

The ship and crew were , as usual , fantastic and the service second to none . My only complaint is that the seating in the bar and lounge area is getting a bit “tired” . Also , because of the general age range of clients I feel the seating could do with being a bit higher to facilitate getting down and getting up out of the chairs. We have traveled seven times with Scenic and are now finding the seating a bit low .

It was great - no complaints about any thing at all. The staff were excellent. Couldn't have been better.

The intimate feeling of the Emerald yachts is hard to beat!

We embarked on the Scenic Crystal on 19 May, expecting a luxury moving river cruise along the Danube. Instead, we were held stationary in Passau for three nights while Scenic stalled for time.

It was clear upon arrival that Scenic knew the river conditions well in advance—the Cruise Director even joked that we should "do a rain dance." Official Pegel river-monitoring data had flagged severe low water long before we departed. Despite knowing a full sailing was impossible, Scenic allowed passengers to embark.

For three days, we were starved of meaningful information while senior captains and executives met behind closed doors. When they finally offered us the option to abandon the ruined trip, the focus shifted entirely to quoting fine print and leaving those passengers who did not use Scenic for their travel arrangements to arrange their own transport home.

To make matters worse, Scenic hid behind Force Majeure, which, given they knew that they could not complete the voyage before it started, is questionable. They refused to refund the three days we were kept stranded in Passau—charging full luxury rates for a stationary hotel stay while they made up their minds. This was clearly a revenue retention process

Disappointing operational management and an appalling approach to customer care.

The Douro River cruise was a delight. The food was excellent and the staff so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Scenic Cruises are genuinely five star. From the transport from home to the transport back again, every need was catered for. The cruise was excellent, with very interesting included excursions in every port. The staff, Navigational, Catering and Hotel management were first class. Food was great, and worthy of a five star review.

The only downside was the number of trips starting at 9am or beforehand

Experience was good in every way. maybe too many Aussies on board. Also men wearing shorts to dinner.
