I could not be more pleased at how Scottish Kilt Tailor goes the distance to make a customer happy. There was a mix-up with my order and I got the wrong kilt. The company was so quick to respond to my email and make it right that I was blown away. The right one was made and sent to me express mail without my even asking. I loved the kilt I ordered. It fit just right and I felt right at home in it. I even got to like the one I was sent by mistake.

ich gebe diese überarbeitete bewertung ab. scottishkilt tailor kontaktierte mich nach meiner ersten bewertung. der kilt, den ich bestellt habe, ist für einen guten freund, der für unsere reisegruppe private reisen nach schottland managt. er ist ein großer liebhaber von aberlour - whisky. deswegen haben wir den kilt im aberlour tartan. meine kritikpunkte waren : es war auf der seite von scottish kilts tailor nicht angeführt, daß zusätzlich zum kaufpreis zölle anfallen. das wäre hilfreich für die kunden bei der kaufentscheidung. ( in unserem fall erhöhte sich die summe von 256,-euro auf 400,-euro.). desweiteren fand ich die verpackung dem preis nicht angemessen. die qualität des kilts ist gut. das die kilts in pakistan produziert werden habe ich leider erst später festgestellt. zusammenfassend möchte ich sagen, daß man bei scottish kilt tailor bestellen kann, es wäre hilfreich, wenn die von mir angeführten informationen zur verfügung gestellt würden.

I am submitting this revised review. ScottishKilt Tailor contacted me after my first review. The kilt I ordered is for a good friend who manages private tours to Scotland for our tour group. He is a huge fan of Aberlour whisky, which is why we got the kilt in Aberlour tartan. My criticisms were: It wasn't stated on the ScottishKilts Tailor website that customs duties would be charged in addition to the purchase price. This would be helpful for customers in their purchasing decision. (In our case, the total increased from €256 to €400.) Furthermore, I didn't think the packaging was appropriate for the price. The quality of the kilt is good. Unfortunately, I only discovered later that the kilts are made in Pakistan. In summary, I would like to say that you can order from Scottish Kilt Tailor; it would be helpful if the information I have provided were made available.

Arrived quickly and good quality

For the price point, you can't expect thick, heavy wool - but the construction of the garments is really good and the fit is very good, given the limitations of a 'measurement chart'.
My fresh new kilt and Argyle jacket will definitely be added to my regular summer wardrobe.
Packaging is good - I appreciate the hand-caught stitch holding the pleats intact for shipping.
One major drawback for me is the UPS delivery: perhaps it's just my region, but they are not very reliable...

Everything was very good with the exception of the belts. they are too short.

I am attending a big event, so I was worried about shipping times. It came so promptly! The boots are exactly what I hoped for.
Also, with my boots, I ordered a pair of white socks. My package had not only my white socks, but a bonus pair of black socks included.

The person on the other end of Scottish Kilt Tailor's chat feature was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. When my purchases arrived, everything fit very well. I ordered a utility kilt from here because it had snaps for adjustability and they were able to custom size with a shorter length and such. Super fast delivery! Only minor issue was a strong woodsy smoke smell from the kilt when I opened the package. I’ll definitely get more from these fine folks!

The kilt is one of the best-fitting, high- quality pieces of clothing I have ever owned. Even my expert seamstress mom couldn’t have done better craftsmanship. It came very quickly - in about 10 or less days from when I ordered it and Customer Service was very prompt in answering my emails. I highly recommend this company!

Explanation of measurements. There was some confusion with the price. If other products were added to the order the price for the Kilt would increase??
