I had a really good experience with ScreenMe. I signed up out of curiosity. I don't suffer with any particular condition thankfully and my GP never flagged particular concerns in past blood tests. I'm generally quite interested in nutrition and ScreenMe helped me understand where there's room for improvement. For instance, while I wasn't deficient enough to worry my GP, I was actually below average on a few key nutrients - and this was affecting my energy levels, concentration and mood and leading to headaches. Having been overexposed to antibiotics in the past I was concerned about my gut health, and specifically the impact on my microbiome. Pregnant with my first baby, I felt it was paramount to be informed about the current condition of my microbiome and how I could improve it, for my own wellbeing and especially for my baby who would receive vital bacteria during birth and when breastfeeding.

The Screenme registration and testing process was straightforward and done from the comfort of my home. I received the results and was booked in for a consultation within a few weeks. The consultation with Dr Ciszewski was thorough and comprehensive, giving me the knowledge and confidence to understand and work on my health and to grow the diversity of my microbiome. I was given a clear, detailed report to refer back to including advice on what to eat and how to supplement to ensure I could give my baby the best start in life.

Dr Golshirazi and Dr Ciszewski have been very approachable and supportive throughout the process, answering any questions I may have and sharing their expert advice. Screenme has been amazing. They’ve helped me with my diet to be healthier and live a better life. I didn’t want sudden drastic change, like with some diets, but Screenme has guided me to eat more of things I like that will also make me healthier, and less of the foods that are doing more harm than good.
