Scryla for Authors is a planning and plotting application designed specifically for fiction writers working on long-form projects such as novels, novellas, and series. Many writing tools focus either on drafting or on loose note-taking. Scryla sits earlier in the process, helping authors shape and manage the structure of a story before and during writing. Outline and timeline views help with pacing and continuity, while notes and reference areas keep supporting material close at hand. Scryla is intentionally distraction-free. It is not a word processor and does not try to replace drafting software. Instead, it complements existing writing workflows by focusing on clarity, structure, and planning — areas where many writers struggle with general-purpose tools. The app is designed to work across devices, allowing authors to review, adjust, or add to their plans wherever inspiration strikes. It is particularly suited to plotters and hybrid writers, but flexible enough to support discovery writers who want to impose structure gradually.
