Used seatons purely because my buyer was and I thought it would expedite things but that was my 1st mistake. They had a fancy app to upload docs but in reality it was a bit of a pain. Not once did they call me to reassure me or update me etc. If I email or call they respond, that's it. Every time they have an excuse rather than take ownership or TALK to the customer to re assure them. Very poor service.

Update: Perhaps you should properly review your emails/conversations as there were clear instances when speaking to your advisors, where I had expressed dissatisfaction. I was told it would be escalated and nothing happened in the end.You couldn't even tell my why the buyer was delaying the completion date (even though you were acting on their behalf)I found this through my estate agent who seemed to be more in touch with the buyer!!

Used these approx 10 years ago for sale and purchase. They took approx 6 weeks longer than they should have with no apology. They had to cancel my buyers fee but did not share this info with me. I let it go as just happy once it completed. Just asked them for quote to verify my identity(basically sign the back of a passport photo and sign off a form) Land registry advised it should only cost £30 at most. SEATONS WANT £225. Never again.

The buyer of my flat unfortunately used Seatons solicitors. The sale was chain free and a very simple transaction. The flat was sold beginning of April 2022 and as of 10 Aug 2022 we have still not exchanged. This is all due to Seatons who have been incredibly slow. An example of this is the maintenance pack was sent to them and they still hadnt looked at it a month later. The estate agent who has been chasing them was told not to ring them. They are a totally unprofessioonal outfit and I could never use them or recommend their services

Rang Seatons about a LPA query we had and one of their Power Of Attorney Specialists rang me back within the day. He was more than happy to answer my question without charge as it was a straightforward issue. Had we needed a follow up meeting, the fees quoted were more than reasonable.

I have used Seatons twice now for a purchase and most recently a sale and purchase. Helen and Natasha are empathetic and efficient. Had no problem getting answers from them by phone or email, always replied within hours. Fully trusted them with the process and was always kept updated. Would recommend to anyone buying and selling

This was supposed to be simple. i tripped on a paving sticking up over an inch. i broke a bone in my foot and was off work for 6 weeks. It was with Seatons for a year. I had sent pictures of the dodgy paving and various other dangerous pavings that are still dangerous and untouched even today over a year later. They denied liability and Seatons rolled over saying the council can prove they have a good maintenance system and therefore not responsible for my broken foot. The solicitor even told me not to expect bowling green quality pavings... How insulting.

Gemma was very thorough in dealing with my first time property purchase - in difficult lock down conditions . Will defiantly use again for other services .

The conveyancing team were brilliant during the Covid lockdown period and still managed to keep me abreast of everything that was going on at all times. Will definitely use Seatons again when the need arises.
