Attention Sydney NSW 2000 Deliveries - Make sure you check fees as they have postcode 2000 listed as Remote Surcharge and charge extra $10 USD for being remote location. When I told the agent that it is the postcode for the CBD and not remote at all they said it was on the couriers remote postcode list and will take my feedback into account as we make improvements moving forward... Have no complaints about the delivery of my last parcel as it arrived with no issues, just check what you are paying for...

Used to be OK but now the BIGGEST RIP OFF. Quoted 200 usd to send a shirt and jacket claiming it was 8.5 kg. More than my actual purchase. Do not use!!
Beware of Poor Communication and Unreliable Service
I had been using this consolidator for over a year with no issues until recently, when they arbitrarily changed my address in their system without informing me. Due to this unannounced change, they rejected multiple packages of mine, which caused significant inconvenience. Eventually, I switched to another consolidator, but surprisingly, they accepted one last package after I had changed services. Now, they are refusing to forward this package to my new consolidator.
When I contacted their customer support for assistance, the representative, named CS03, was unhelpful and blamed me for not noticing their address change notice on their website. This lack of direct communication and poor handling of the situation has been extremely frustrating.
I am disappointed with the way they've handled my situation and their customer service's approach. I advise anyone considering using this service to look elsewhere to avoid similar issues. Their lack of transparency and accountability is concerning and not what you'd expect from a reliable service provider.
There was a bad time still best
Using forwarding service from year 2009, seems there was a bad time for comgateway in mid 2023, 4-5 packages of mine with them, i got all the products once they re-started business, after shifting of warehouse and changes in management, they are bit slow, but still i will say the are one of the best top forwarding company.
Reconsider using CGW .. look elsewhere
I have been using CGW for years and the service standards have really slipped. They actually lost my item and they refused to compensate me for it. Please seriously reconsider using them. Look for other options!
I abandoned ship....
I was using this company for years. They had excellent service and good shipping rates. Their consolidation packing was next to none, it was awesome. Then sometime in 2022..... 1. they had a staff shortage that really dragged them down. 2. in the middle of the staff shortage this year, 2023, they moved warehouse and it went from bad to a disaster. I abandoned ship after the warehouse move and reading the reviews, I am glad I did. Pity, I really liked them..... :-(

It's a pity that CGW went downhill. Used their buy for me services multiple times, transactions were swift & effortless. Until the beginning of this year everything starts to slide. Hopefully one day, this website can come alive again, better.
Got there in the end...
Similar to everyone here - I've been using comgateway for the better part of 10 years with zero issues at all. Recently went ahead with getting 2 packages delivered as I normally would have. And as with everyone's experiences here both packages were delivered (with delivery confirmations from respective merchants)... yet no news from comgateway, nothing reflected on the site.
Thankfully they eventually came through, just about 3 weeks later than they should've. I'll use them again, but waiting to see if they've truly gotten their house in order from the future reviews here...
Used to be great but terrible now
They used to be very fast and reliable, but after the move to another warehouse, the speed of processing is absolutely atrocious. Expect at least 2-3 weeks between each step before it leaves the warehouse, so if you intend to use their Onebox process, expect to wait 4-6 weeks.
Long process, but finally successful
2 shipments arrived at the address ( both on different dates in June) . One package appeared on my dashboard after 2 weeks and I shipped it immediately. Another appeared on my dashboard today and I shipped it immediately too .. I did try to contact them through the bot, regular emails and of course there was a total breakdown in communication. But I am giving 4 stars as they still managed to retrieve both packages finally . It was a frustrating process , but they redeemed themselves, finally. For all those waiting for your package, keep emailing them and keep the hope that one day you will receive your package
No delivery, no contact, no response to all msg
Sent very expensive pkg to them but ownership changed whilst in transit 6wks ago. I have proof of delivery from courier.
No reply from customer service or online support msg's.
Now seen dozens of others with same experience. Seems new owners are collecting packages and on selling.
So their Chatbot did forward my queries to someone I guess...

So, I've used comgateway in the past with absolutely no issues. I recently made an order and it was delivered to the comgateway US address on 3 August, its now 12 August and it still hasn't appeared on my dashboard, then I came across the reviews in Trustpilot and it seems I'm not the only one. I did email them, but no replies. I have tried using the chatbot and it did forward me queries to someone I guess.....this was the reply:
"We would like to inform you that we have submitted request to warehouse to expedite the process of the pacakge..."
So I guess they really are working on backlogs since the new management or whatever messed everything up from what I read on Reddit. Read also some people have received their packages, but very very late....1 month or 2 that kind of thing...but I also saw that some people don't get it ever.

My request was acted on and now the items appear on my dashboard.

They sent out my package and I received everything on this date. I guess they really are trying their best to clear all their backlogs.
Avoid Comgateway
Service has deteriorated tremendously. Comgateway has become irresponsive, waiting weeks to ship out items, flagging packages without proper reason and not responding to queries.
ComGateway is NOT what it used to be!
I've been with ComGateway like forever! And I've always raved about their great service!
So you can imagine my horror when they sold the business in March 2023 to a company who are just running it into the ground!
Do Not take the risk of loosing money and goods from the US.
They've changed addresses without letting anyone know, so your mail gets delayed or RTS.
They're turnaround times have blown out by weeks not days.
Their fees have gone up and because of the(ir) delays, they're charging storage fees - $US to $AU is not nice.
And my parcel has been stuck in "processing" ready for shipping for 3 weeks now!
I wish I had of known earlier about the sale and I would have signed with one of the many other good service providers!!!

Probably goodbye to my parcels with them.. whihc cost me a few thousand USD...
My fault for not checking after having not used them for nearly a year..
Gone are the good old days.
ComGateway/HopShopGo have been acquired. The process has been slow, messy, and completely lacking in transparency. Support has evaporated, packages have gone missing, and delays are constant. I no longer recommend ComGateway. They need to apologise and explain.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service provided by comGateway, and I have been a reasonably regular customer since 2011. Customer support has been consistently helpful, and generally responses have been prompt. Prices are not always the cheapest, but I have had a better experience than with other forwarders so I keep coming back. I think that communicating your requests with them is the best way to avoid problems along the way - for fragile things I contact them to ask for special care to be taken with specific items, and generally they have been able to accommodate my needs for a reasonable price.

Having used both comGateway and other similar shipping forwarders for a few years, I find that I keep coming back to comGateway. All my experiences with them have been good to date. Their processes are generally efficient and effective, and their customer support is always fast to reply, polite and helpful. While not always the cheapest, I have no hesitation to recommend them to anybody looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable company to help give confidence when wanting to buy products from overseas.
Terrible experience. I'm customer for years.
I'm a customer for years, prime member, but I'm completely disappointed with company support and handling times. If I knew they were going through current issues, I'd never placed the orders and have them delivered there. My orders are all time sensitive. Company should provide at least a clear message informing SLAs to customers. After 4 days of my message, they acknowledged my packages are there (for 8 days now), but still no forecast on when I'll be able to see them in my account. Terrible experience
Bad communication but look like they are back in business again!
Same as everyone here in the most recent 2 months' reviews. I have not used them for a while and didn't read the reviews before shipping my order to their warehouse. My order was delivered on July 19. However, after a few days, it was still not reflected in my Comgateway account, I got worried and contacted their customer service but no one responded until 1 week later. They finally acknowledged that they received my package but are currently busy clearing their backlogs so asking me to wait for a while for them to sort it out. I do feel comforted after hearing that. On July 27, I went to check on my Comgateway account and found my package already there, immediately ship and now it is on its way to me based on the tracking number given. I gave this review 3 stars because of the bad communication from the company. If they would have displayed some notice on their website to inform us that they are experiencing an ownership change and we should expect some delay but assure us that everything will be taken care of eventually...then we will not be so panic when we did not see our delivered packages in the Comgateway account...I hope they read all these reviews and do better in future if they want to regain our trust.
