Brought a car that was said to be a runner but has a cracked engine and broken head gasket. Broken display screen and many more faults not described. Only fit for the scrap yard. Over charged by £500 due to apparent admin error which they said would refund but never did, just ignore emails and calls

Ripped off by these scammers. Do not use them. Bought a car off eBay. Paid the winning bid to an account in a different name…. Then demand and extra £280 in “fees”. I was not aloud to collect the vehicle until paid. I asked for a refund and now being ignored. I’ve reported to trading standards and also the tax man has has a little phone call as well.

AVOID. Total scammers. Don't give a
honest description of the true faults and problems with cars. Over charge with hidden costs and then ignore emails about the refunds owed.
Not worth the stress and loss of money

This has been the worst purchase I have ever made. I bought a vehicle that was described as “starts and drives around the yard”. This was absolutely not true. When it arrived, the vehicle would not start, would not crank, and was completely unusable from the moment of delivery. What I received was nothing like what was advertised.

The company hides behind the “trade only / sold as seen” excuse, but that does NOT justify a misleading description. They know the buyer cannot inspect the vehicle before delivery, yet still send out something in a far worse condition than stated.

Communication with the company is pointless: no help, no responsibility, only repeating their terms and conditions. No willingness to resolve anything, even when presented with clear evidence.

I feel misled, ignored, and treated with complete disrespect.
This has been a major loss of money and time for me.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company.

There is not an option for zero stars, so the one star is a generous misrepresentation. Be very, very wary of this company. The vehicle I received was completely mis-described and a complete wreck. It was described as running and driving, yet was badly damaged and neither running nor driving.
Beware of the hidden costs that will double the price of your vehicle. I immediately felt that something was wrong when I was demanded a £250 payment to generate an invoice. Once I got the invoice (double the winning bid with additional fees and VAT) I had the feeling that I should forfeit the £250 and chalk this one up as a mistake. The actual mistake I made was to pay the invoice and await delivery. During this time communication was very poor.
I was not around to take delivery and returned to find an absolute wreck that had been very cleverly photographed to hide its most serious damage.
I wrote to the company to seek retribution and tried to reason with them. I was met with silence. I warned that I would post an honest review, and, having been completely ignored, I did just that.
I was immediately offered a complete refund and collection of the wreck if I took down the honest review. I contacted eBay to get their advice, and they advised me to leave the honest feedback. I did not. I altered my honest statement. Naturally, I received no refund, no contact and no collection. I warned the company that I would leave a further honest review, and so here it is.
This company is a sham and a scam. Deal with them at your peril and expect to be ripped off. If it looks too good to be true, it is. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

When the transporter delivered the car to us, it turned out that this fraudulent seller advertised the car with photos of another car. The pictures on ebay show a car with roof rails, the car provided has no roof rails. The pictures on ebay show a car without many damages that the car provided has (several rusty, damaged panels, rockers, doors). The bonnet cannot be opened, the opening cable is cut. This scammer deceived us with false pictures, told us to pay a deposit, then if we did not want to lose the deposit, they blackmailed us to pay £544 more than advertised.
Despite the ebay description stating that the car "Starts and drives", it cannot not be started at all.
After winning the 357743938213 ebay auction with a £1070 bid the seller told me that it is not possible to pay through ebay, I should bank transfer a £250 deposit. Then the invoice surprisingly contained other items besides the Vehicle Sale Price £1070:
Storage/Admin Fees (if any) £275, and VAT £269. I phoned the seller and argued that this is a Peugeot 308 car, I should not be charged VAT on top of the bid, and there was no indication of any Storage/Admin Fees in the ebay item description, it is unfair to charge this fee on top of the bid, but the seller insisted that I have to pay it, otherwise they do not even let my transporter person to see the car. As I have already transferred the deposit the day before, and the £820 as the remaining amount from the selling price, I felt forced to pay the £544 as well. Then my transporter told me that despite the ebay description stating that the car "Starts and drives", it cannot not be started at all, maybe the battery is dead. I phoned the seller and complained that the car cannot start, but the seller dismissed my complaint, was not willing to charge or change the battery and hang up.
