AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! First time I've used this company and only did so for my wife's convenience as I was at work and didn't have time to get to a garage. Booked car in for MOT & service, started off well, good communication with regards to picking up the car, arrived on time for the car and was polite. Received a call some hour's later saying car had passed its MOT (brilliant I thought ) BUT Gary then continued to feed me absolute BS trying to charge me ridiculous prices for work that I know didn't need doing. I am a car guy and a competent home mechanic so know a thing or two. Tried to charge for specialist oil when the car takes standard W5 30, engine flush, pollen filter and brake fluid
To the tune of £300 quid extra. Now I called him out on this and suddenly I didn't need them, I did agree to the brake fluid as mine was over 2 years old. Charged me £98. I'm not convinced it was even done as the car arrived back 40 mins later. It's just a middle man booking service making money by ripping people off. Better off going to the garage directly. Lesson learned, won't be using them again. ALSO offered me a £10 discount to leave a good review. Nah ur alright mate I would rather be honest and name and shame you for ur very dishonest scamming behaviour 😉

An utter shambolic disgrace of a faceless company that effectively steals your money then impossible to get hold of to seek redress. I wouldn’t touch them again if they were the last and only company remaining on Earth.
I booked car in for service and MOT. Several good communications before hand which were very encouraging. Day before, email received confirming our appointment and home pick up.
On the day, my phone was off for work purposes. When turned phone on, message from home saying car hadn’t been collected. Three missed calls from service stop but unable to call them back as line automated.
Couldn’t speak to anyone in person at all. Spoke to an employer via online webchat. Explained problem. Told garage unable to get hold hold of me to confirm appointment ( that was already booked and confirmed) so hadn’t sent anyone to collect. Told that I would need to re arrange. Told them my MOT due date imminent so that wasn’t feasible. Asked for refund and told that since I was cancelling there would be a £25 admin charge. Spent weeks emailing and being totally blanked before instructing credit card company to take up the case.
This company should be closed down immediately. I tried the Ombudsman but this a voluntary scheme to which, no surprise, this company doesn’t adhere to.
These people have no moral standards and how they sleep at night is beyond me.
Save yourself the inconvenience and cut out the middle man and simply set fire to your cash, the effect will be the same and far less hassle.
Apart from that they were ok 🙈

Servicing stop are nothing more than a faceless booking service that uses any garage it can find to charge you huge amounts for inexpensive items. I booked my Mother's car in for a service and MOT, cost £131, they charged me an extra £395 for oil and brake fluid, and wanted to charge me £500 for a new battery, which I declined. They never answer their phone or e-mails and do not release your car until they receive full payment for extra's, absolutely shocking, bordering on illegal practice, a complete con, do not go near them.

If I could give 0 I would!!! AWFUL company. My mum booked her car in they collected it, rang her said it’ll cost £800 and that they won’t drop the car back off even though the MOT is still valid. DO NOT USE THIS VILE COMPANY

Total rip off. Pay for a service, wich was their so called sale £60 off, so I paid £120, then like loads of other reviews you get a phone call saying your vehicle needs things that should be included in the service in fact £450 extra, It's kind of like a scare tactic, I'm surprised rip off Britain arnt chasing this firm. No I didn't go ahead with all extras but I was kind of of scared on the brake flush and oil flush as I was told for safety I should have it, yet in the garages service schedule this wasn't mentioned. Stay away from this service.

Awful, if you want to pay through the nose use this company. Where are Trading Standards and other so called public offices that are supposed to protect from companies like this!?

Please! Please! Please! read the reviews on this company. They are the biggest scammers to ever walk this planet. The prices they give you for a full service is labour only. They phone you up and try to charge you extortionate prices for for oil filters etc on top of what you've already paid. Then they'll tell you that you need work done that doesn't need doing at ridiculously high prices. Please do not use.

I wrote to them concerning the unacceptable service and misleading pricing and website. The email was acknowledged and they explained there would be a response within 2 days, 4 days later nothing.
- Misleading website on pricing, pay in advance and reduce by £20 and the small print states , the car will only be released for a further £29.99, specialist oil.
Would not tell me what a specialist oil is and for a Fiat 500 !
- Poorly trained member of staff . The company insist on ringing you before they will release the car.
- Then send a text , asking you to book next years service , with a large box reserving the price and paying in advance. To release the car and pay was underneath in small print, very misleading , so pleased I checked.

Please do not use. EVERYTHING is 100% inflated, How they sleep at night is beyond me. Robbers! My sympathy is with the contracted garages oh & us victims.

Avoid at all cost full service same day load of BS held my car over night told me service was ok but needed a new clutch funny as it was only fitted with one 8 weeks previous

Probably the worst company to deal with absolute rip off quote you £120 pounds for a service then with nothing wrong with the car the quote becomes £450 pounds hidden costs and unnecessary work carried out main dealer is less than half the price it’s only 900cc car steer clear you have been warned.

Absolute rip off by people who have no morals about putting a 66 year old pensioner who is going through cancer treatment with threats about not getting car back unless I paid an extra 29.99 for oil on top of 150.00 already paid

I went through this company for a mot and service the day I booked it in for they cancelled had to make another date when my car went into the garage for mot and service
Service Stop emailed me stating my car needed over £400 extra work to be done when they sent me a report of what was needed to be done I about passed out

Brake fluid £120 Service Stop you think your giving a good deal but in reality you are scamming your customers well think the most of my custom I won't be using you again the things you said that was urgent had nothing to do with my mot so please beware of this company if they offer you a good deal guarantee it will end up costing you a fortune when you try to phone them they never answer even the garage was trying to phone so they could get paid

Servicing Stop is Massively overpriced and shocking customer service. Quoted 157 for a
full ervice and MOT, plus any extra works, as is the usual. However, the extra works came to an extra 517 plus VAT!!! £517 for 2 brake pads, and a change of brake fluid. And the service was only an oil change and not the quoted full service!!

Expensive and overpriced. No problem with the garage that did the work but ServicingStops added charges are very unrealistic....Special Oil??? What's that all about. Very difficult to get a response from their London based office, texts and call go unanswered. Some convenience in getting your vehicle collected and returned but this is outweighed by the added ServicingStop charges. Much better to go directly to a garage of your choice. I would not use this service again.

I totally agree with the other negative comments. the garage that did the work was great but all let down by the agent of servicestop. All he wanted was to increase the bill by saying that there were safety issues. would use the garage again but not the company.

Car collected on time. Spoke to Gary -polite and explained the work that was needed on my car. I have used service stop previously and would recommend to others.

I paid the required fee then on the morning I had booked the service I clicked the link again and found they had already charged a surcharge which had to be paid before they would return the car and this was two hours BEFORE they collected the car. They then called after the service and literally read out all the advisories from the last MOT telling me the garage had "found" these faults and wanted to discuss the cost of these repairs. When I queried the integrity of their approach the guy was really rude. Will have no hesitation referring these sharks to Trading Standards.
Garage that actually did the service was fine and not in on this racket.

No problem the garage who did the work.... but servicing stop customer service have not got a clue or tell lies its that simple
